As in an outside temperature gauge that can swap between Centigrade and Farenheit.Ideally, it would be a digital red l.e.d. type gauage to match the rest of my panel. (See the home page of the rtw link below- there's a screenshot of the panel on the home page).I'm reasonably sure I had one once, but I can't find it. I'm having to settle for running 2 temp gauges now in order to get readouts in both temperature scales and I'd dearly love to be able to get that down to one.

A LOOOONG time ago I modified or added a .bgl file in order to get Prince Edward Island textures to display in FS. I can't remember how or what I did and I have searched the forums. I also looked in SCENERYDB and can't find the change. Parts of the Maritime textures are really blocky now and I want to go back to the original.Does anyone remember how to do this? Thanks, Adam

I have just installed the Falcon 50 by Yannick Lavigne. I only explored the interior views and decided to start her up but I couldn't find a startup procedure or how to access the throttles. I'm sure I'm overlooking something. What am I missing? For the record, it looks great! Thanks. :-)

Just gave it a try-just scratching the surface with what it can do but flew from kfnt to kdet-left at 1,100 overcast-by the time I got to kdet it was snow and 2 miles v-this program did a great job-it was very real-and updated about 5 times during the flight. Transitions were smooth.. So far very impressed! Thanks for a great addition...Just verified with duats:KFNT:wind 360

Hiya,I have a couple of questions about flight planners. I have been keeping a close eye on the A340 in development at www.anticyclone.be and it looks as though it will rival the PS1.3 (at $200 it had better!) and I thought that if I am going to spend all that money on somthing so realistic I may as well get a realistic flight planner. Does anyone know of one that generates flight plans that allow step climbs, airways, SID's STARS etc and a printout of your FP? Somthing that is as realistic to the real world software as possible? I have FS build but it does not allow for step climbs, and whenever I calculate a flight plan it does not give airways, it only has them as 'Dir…

Dear Avsim Staff:It would seem that I have violated the forum rules in some way warranting the removal of my RC 3.0 thread. Please rest assured that this was not my intention and I thought the thread was rather innocent enough and verified to be free of any slander, foul language, spam, trolling, etc. Obviously, I was not as dilegent in the review of my own material as I belived and, as such, missed something that the Avsim staff did, in fact, deem warranted a removal.I wrote to the forum admin asking to explain my mistake to me so that I could effect a correction on my part, but I have yet to receive a reply on the matter. At your convenience, would someone please advis…

To all of you really.I have to say that since joining this forum, it has been a breath of fresh air. There's been almost nothing in the way of flaming and trolling and I've found the people here both well informed and VERY helpful. In the short time I've been here, I've had offers of help and assistance that go way beyond what I've been used to or would expect. The forum and it's members are a credit to the flightsim community. Thankyou all very much.

Hi all!I was wondering if any of you folks could recommend a good random weather generator for use in FS2K2?I prefer to stay away from one that uses real world metars to generate the weather since my 'net connection is pretty slow and shakey.Regards,ScottKJMS

Greetings all! I'm sick of interrupted downloads (no, not from this site) due to a slow 'net connection. Could anyone please recommend a download utility that will reconnect and resume the download after the connection is lost?I searched the forums here for "download accelerator" and "download utility" but nothing came up. I apologise if this question has been addressed before.Regards,ScottKJMS

Hi,my GoFlight MCP arrived today. Unfortuantely the disk provided was faulty. On their website you can only download version 1.24 of the GFconfig. I have this version but it does not work with the MCP. I need version 1.25. I have no idea why it is not available on their website. Can some kind soul please send it to me as an e-mail?Pleeeeze. There should be no copyright problem involved as it is available freely anyway.I already sent an e-mail to them but who knows when they will read it.I cannot survive another weekend without the MCP .Thx so much, Alex

Boy, do I feel like an idiot. I didn't read the shipping policies at Chips & Bits and got hosed. They charged me $5.25 in handling fees on top of the priority mail charge. It cost nearly $8.00 to have one CD (just in its protective envelope - not even a DVD case or jewel box)shipped to me by priority mail. Can you say rip-off? This is totally my fault. The prices were on the web site, so, buyer beware. But I hope you all can benefit from my mistake. Check out the price of shipping when price shopping (and then let Chips and Bits know when they lose a sale becuase of their shipping policies). While the industry trend is toward cheaper or free shipping for interne…

I hope this is posted in the correct forum.I finally managed to get 2 of my 3 networked computers talking to each other using WideFS and the IPX protocol (thank you Pete Dowson). Subsequently, I have noticed the following:When exiting a FS session using WideFS and RC30 for example, the next immediate call to FS after the exit causes a blue screen VxD fault. When rebooted, you can call FS and it will start as usual.Has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there a fix or something I should be correcting in these pc's?ThanksDom

Hey Gang!I really like Rick's G-IV; the look is very nice and the panel works very well as well. The only negative observation I've made is that the flight model needs to be improved. That thing flies like an F-15 Eagle. Is it possible to tame the beast a little bit?Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullerthttp://www.aavirtual.com/images/aav48_banner.gif[/img]
