Greetings from Indiana!My friends,I had my first serious crash in 5 years. Had to reinstall Windows 98. So the registry is gone. But everything is still AOK on the hard drive... nothing in my FS2002 file seems to be missing. All I need is proper entries in the registry, I think.I have a number of add on airplanes, FS Skyworld 2002SE, OceanFX, etc. etc. Do I reinstall the whole simulator?Which files should I back up?What all will I lose by a reinstall?What would you do?Thank you very much. Does anyone have a link to a technical resource that explains the operation of the DC9 auto throttles? I do not understand how it is supposed to work. It does not work like my PIC767 auto throttles.I really enjoy flying it by hand, but would like to have a better understanding of the actual systems design.Also, the TO/GA engage appears to set the throttles to the EPR limit only? I have the CH Pro Pedals using the native drivers, and for some reason I can't save the advanced settings. It keeps reverting back to simple.Is there a device file or .cfg that can be rebuilt, etc to see if this can be corrected?Thanks!Barry

Hi I Have Just About Completed Fu3 Scenery For fs2002 The Same Textures Except For The Water ,10 Meter Dems The Same Textures As Fu3I Had To Resample Then With Ermapper And Global Mapper Resampling Through Microsoft Sampler Produced Bad Results..I Will ost Screen Shots Soon As I Find Out What Keys To Use In Fs2002 For Capture..But Its The Total Rgion 100 Square Miles....Because Of The Size Of The texture And Bgl Files I Will Have To Distribute On Cd But Willing To Send Anyone A Sample Say 10 Square Miles To Get An Idea..Im Open For Any Suggestions Oneone Might Have...Im Currently Just Finishing The Water Files.Doug

Hope someone can help me with this. I lost all my A1 traffic and I discovered that I didn't have the default.dp file in the aircraft folder anymore. I've checked all three disks from FS2002 Pro in windows explorer and opened all the zip files on the disks but couldn't find the file. Couold someone tell me wher on the disks the stated file is? Need some advice...I recently installed Shehryar Ansari's scenery for John Wayne/Orange County Airport (KSNA -- which, by the way, is excellent), and I also installed an AFCAD file that was customized for the new scenery. Now, when I choose a starting departure Gate (any of them, actually), FS detects a collision right after my plane (737-400) appears at the gate. There are no buildings or other aircraft in the way... the plane IS in close proximity to the terminal, but not close enough to touch. I have a similiar problem with Redding Municipal Airport (in my hometown)... I installed some decent scenery for it, but there are certain areas now at the airport where I get…
