Hi y'all,well, I just got some surprising eMail with Outlook's 'high priority' mode from a guy named Hal Bryan (having a email address ending @microsoft.com) who wants me for beta testing the next version of FS (I wrote them a 'nice' 9 pages of wish list some months ago; they even answered). They want my postal address etc. Can someone please confirm this guy is from the FS team, that'd be really great since I cannot confirm this mail is serious. I looked at some gamers' sites and there he is really under 'testers'. He stated I shouldn't give this mail away but I am a bit in doubt so I just thought it'd be best to ask you. I started a new topic relating to the recent Avsim frontpage article by Bear -- because the other one was starting to degenerate into a slanging match. What I hope to do here is to generate some ideas on how to get what we all want.Our combined dilemma is - just how do we get reviews of excellent addons in the face of the thousands of addons that pour into the library. I do believe that Bears' new idea of what he intends to do to continue his excellent past reviews will not work -- because his (and our) main problem is that no one person has the time to download , install and evaluate every addon . was wondering how i could edit where an AI aircraft actually parked at. i have the gates already but i want to make the aircrafts go to theyre respective gates. how can i do this. i have the simflyers ewr scenery. added the .bgl file they have on theyre site for the traffic to fix the problem but its still happening. i work at terminal A and i know for a fact a Lufthansa 747 wont be parked anywhere at terminal A except out in the hard stand areas.anyway. theres other airports id like to do aswell. any help is greatly appreciated.

When I choose this option under the diplay/hardware settings I do see reduced jaggy lines, but I have one bug. When I hit ESC or ALT to get to the menu bar the program pauses but I cant see the quit screen ot the menu bar?! Whats up with that?

I am having problems trying to set the flaps for Oleksiy Frolov's Dash8-300. When I try to set them to any of the intermediate settings (5, 10 or 15 degrees) either they jump to 35 degrees or they shutter back and forth between 0 and 5 degrees until I set them back to 0.I am confident the installation is correct and I have FSUIPC V2.94.Any assistance provided is greatly appreciated.HATS OFF to Oleskiy for sharing his talents with the FS Community with such a wonderful aircraft.

Help is sought, please!My system is Dell 4400 P4 1.7 128DDR Ram 64mb GForce 2MXI have found that with all GMAX aircraft that I get a drastic reduction in performance and frame rates after some twenty minutes into the flight. I have used POSKY's CRJ and more recently the excellent Fokker 100. For example, Glasgow to Jersey, 20 mins into the flight, the frame reduces from 18 to 8/9. Selecting views becomes very slow with the aircraft taking longer to 'skin'. Eventually, it almost grinds to a halt! I have cranked everything down on the settings to an acceptable level. When running the auto-installers I get a message "run-time error 76" and it concerns the CFG.EXE file not being able to find the correct path. Evrything installs OK except no entries are made to the PAI aircraft.cfg files in the FS2002 AIRCRAFT folder. Does anyone know how I might fix this? Thanks!John-PaulToronto

I often have a problem with long haul fligts namely that I find no way to predict winds en route. I use to add some tons fuel to be prepared for significant head winds but I would like to know how I can get wind dir/speed along my route after having downloaded real weather with winds aloft into FS2002.Does somebody know that?

Hi Folks!Several months back, someone posted a reference to a download that contained a nicely detailed LAGO FSSE version of Lambert Airport. It was very well done. hello fellow simmers,I just encountered something very unsual:I upgraded my nvidia drivers to 41.09 and DX9 and found myself have a new message of FS2002 saying that all my gauges that were 3rd party would not load such as Bill Grabowsky's ERJ's, Richard Probst gauges etc... and no problems whatsoever on the rest. I just installed the new RONALD REAGAN WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT (KDCA) scenery from Shehryar Ansari and I installed it in the Scenedb dir as per the instructions.I have the scenery at the top of my scenery list in the library and everything looks good,but when I load it up I get a error message says it can't find scenery files.I have to keep oking the message 5 times then it loads up but there are no buildings or aircraft just the taixways and runways.I was hoping someone has a idea what could be wrong? I broke down and bought a cheap web-cam tonight at Walmart to see what all the Cam2pan excitement was about, and I'll add my endorsement as well, great add-on! But, the problem with my setup is that I bought a really cheap web-cam ($20) which said "Up to 30 fps" but the only way to get that was to basically turn the exposure setting to nill, which resulted in extremely dark images. So, after much frustration and just about giving up, I remembered the tiny LED light I had, which I then clipped to my ball cap and the whole setup worked beautifully! I put a picture at the bottom showing the camera picture with the light on and off, to see the difference. Ok, enough rambl…
