whats the math here, FSMETEO and atis says QNH1036, how do i set the altimeter when it reads 2992, can i change that to QNHthx OHN

just wanted to know if when using FS2002 with the flight planner and NAV/GPS u can track shorten to the next but one or two waypoints???thanksjoeyjoejoe10

I just downloaded the new Fokker 70/100s and flew initially using the default panels (737). Planes look fantastic and fly better then any plane I've ever flown. No longer is flying a wrestling match as with the default Lear for example. ! Plane practically flys itself. The only problem is after running the panel.exe, new panel appears but most of the gauges are blacked out. I tried replacing the panel.cfgs inside each individual Fokker file with a copy of the master panel.cfg which was placed outside of the individual livery files (but alliased from these) durring installation, but still no luck. I am running XP home, no gauge cleaners, also added FSSOUND.DLL fix…

Hi all,I just recently noticed that all my seasons are out by a month, does anyone know how to fix this? It's a bit annoying to be flying in December and have FS2002 identify it as Autumn and not Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, and Spring when it's Summer in the Southern Hemisphere. :-hmmmMatt

I've flown FS2002 for over a year now and aside from the fact that the virtual cockpit looks "different" from the 2D panels, I'm still trying to figure out just what it's supposed to do beyond a 2D panel. Is it supposed to support mouse-panning view or something; if so, I haven't been able to make this work -- just the usual snap views. What am I missing here -- what's the point of the VC?

I've tried, I've really tried, to answer this question by searching the forums here and on the FSW support site. That said, I admit I am pretty dense but there are a couple of things that I am having difficulty figuring out.I normally use real weather with FS Meteo, and I have FS Sky World set to randomly load cloud sets. What I am not clear on is whether the selected cloudset will correspond with the weather conditions. Will I ever get thunderclouds when there isn't thunderstorms? Is FSW just randomly picking clouds from all of the sets or is it picking from a group that reflects the current weather? I like the idea of having some variety in the clouds, but I am hoping t…

How do I adjust or choose the sounds played when I key something in FS2k2? For example, when I go to or from a full screen display I get this awful annoying sound. Some bad sounds when I key OK in some menus also. I am using WindowsXP.Thanks

I hav a multiple monitor setup with a panorama view thatconsists of 3 screens of 22 inch each. Each monitor covers an area of90 degrees from the centre or better explained main, upfront left and upfront right VIEWS. When switching planes (FS2002) with option select planegives no problem as the new plain picks the former parameters and one continues with a full panorama flying perhaps with somealligment to do as a Cesna is not a Beechcraft but anyway.This is not NOT the case with the brand new Fokker 70 and 100 - I usually get only the W option or Scenery only for left and right - while main that is the front view ( Cockpit view ) works fine. I have been fairly inactive with regards to MS flightsim for about a year, due to various work obligations. Recently, I bought a new computer system, and am now faced with the daunting task of reinstalling FS 2000 and the billions of add-ons I have for that, or to go out and buy FS 2002 and try to find all the upgrades for the stuff I already have. One of my biggest dissapointments is that Proflight 2000 doesn't seem to work with FS 2002, but I am more concerned with whether or not all the add-ons that are now coming out will actually work with FS 2004. Hi,Can anyone explain why some airports supposedly with ILS do notwork. Case in point at present is Tocumen, Panama (MPTO) and Lagos,Nigeria (DNMM) for which all ILS`s do not work. Has anyone flown tothese airports and found the ILS to work?? I am using third party airports incidently. Only one runway atLagos has a working ILS (19R 108.10). I have lost taxiway lighting at all airports.Runway lighting is normal. Have searched discs 1,2&3 to no avail.Any help would be appreciated.

HiLike thousands of others I have d/l'd and installed the Fokker. I was very impressed by the simple and effective auto install feature. BTW, this is a thing I used to hate. Anyway, when it came to installing the panel I was confused because it simply pointed to FS2002 and not the directory containing one of the aircraft. I changed the path to point to one of the Fokker panel folders. At this point I have something that doesn't look right as I peruse the results of my effort.Can someone walk me through reinstalling the panel so that it will be available to all these models. Also, do I need to do an uninstall of what I have already done, or simply delete the folders?Thanks

Being a turbo, are there any special procedures involved in shutting down the engine to avoid seizing up the turbocharger? I can't find any mention of this in the POH provided by DF, since they're for the non-turbo model.Thanks

I noticed that in the IK DC-9 POH in a picture of the airspeed indicator that the airspeed bug is below .50 mach but I mine will not go below .50 mach!! Also the A/P doesn't hold the selected mach at all. I'd have the bug on .65 mach and the airspeed needle would be at .55 mach!

I've got the flight 1 cessna 421 and the update and I can go to the "direct to" screen on the G530 but after a minute FS freezes up and then my pc runs through what sounds like direct x gathering my system info, then my pc crashes!!!!!!! It's only when i go to "direct to"!
