On some aircraft, only one of the needles works (e.g. F-5, SF260). I now its probably something stupid, but what am I doing wrong?I drop the ILS frequency into nav one, make sure navigation is selected, but then no joy.

I tend to fly with the virtual cockpit at 1024x768 with the zoom level at around 60%. The drawback of this is that the cockpit instruments aren't very legible. If I want to look at the instruments in detail, I either have to hit the zoom button a bunch of times (and then have to try to zoom back out to my original setting), or I have to open the regular panel (which I don't like to do unless I am pressing buttons).I downloaded the update to FSUIPC recently, and noticed that there was a tab for user configurable key commands. I hope I'm not missing this simple task! I shoot the approaches just fine but if I come in a little hot or into a shorter runway, I can't get the reversers to work (on any airplanes). If I'm using the throttle quadrant, the handles seem to want to go into reverser position but they just bounce around a little and don't ever go into reverser mode. Anyone with any comments or fixes would be greatly appreciated. tinman

Hello,I have the (USB) CH Products Yoke and Pedals. I am just using the drivers not one created the virtual device that the CH Products Device Manager.The Yoke Driver seems to work fine. But with the Pedals won't save the sensitivities. See attached Control Dialogs: The last image is when I return to that dialog and it reverted back to Simple...Any Ideas?Barry

Sorry guys, I could not resist.Anyways, it seems that my battery either shuts off or go's dead when I start to taxi. Any ideas what might be happening? The engines are still running fine but I have no electrical. No gear retraction, flaps, avionics, the works. I looked over the manuel with no luck. Just wanted to say a public thank you to Leon Seale for the help he gave me yesterday when I had trouble with his great CRJ panel. The trouble, by the way, was entirely of my own causing (I had default Lear gauges missing in my FS2002 installation). I recieved fast and courteous replies to my emails and the problem was solved very quickly. Leon's panel is well worth trying out. It integrates very well with the POSKY CRJ's virtual cockpit and it has a HUD and TCAS.Thanks again, Leon, and Merry Christmas.Drew

Updating Ray's FS98 Learjet panel for use with the FFG Lear 35's.Any suggestions? Still have a few more things to tweak, but any comments as to what is needed would be nice. :-)Sorry about the quality of the cap, had to really compress to keep it small.

You won't believe the package about to come from Bill Lyons! I have been beta testing and all I can say is WOW! Would someone be willing to post a short how-to guide on using FSWide. I have 2 systems (almost equal specs) and would love to use FS wide. I can get the client to connect to the host but then what? I have not used the program for a while now. I just installed it again and I am wondering why I can not see any airports, NDB, VOR frequencies when I open a flight plan and clic on F10 to see the map.If I point and clic an airport, I just get a new menu showing the name but no frequencies for approach, tower, ILS etc....Is this normal or I am just confused with FS2000?Thanks and regardsRakham

Does anyone know of a simple way to let your significant other give you the FS gift that you really want this Christmas? My wife would love to give me a present that would send me squealing to my workshop to fly this holiday, but she doesn't know a turboprop from a tomato! I think she's been a little intimidated whenever visiting an FS add-on site because of the terminology -- and let's face it, some of those sites aren't the most user-friendly to the uninitiated. I was wondering if any payware reseller has considered some sort of gift certificate system so those who don't fly can give something fun to those of us who do. Dear all,I wonder if someone of you might help me with this package.Installation went all fine but the first thing is that I cannot find the flight for sample as advised in the documentation.Secondly and more frustrating is that the panel is too small to read...did someone of you carry out any tweaks so that the panel can be more readable.Any help is appreciated.Regards,Emann.

I purchased the Flight One DC9 today. I am using a complete stack of Goflight instruments with a PFC 2 engine jet quadrant and digital controller with gear, flaps and rudder trim.I cannot silence the Master Annunciator "whoot whoot" horn. It whoot whoots with a clean annunciator panel. It even YELLS with the battery OFF. (persistent thing). I am wondering if Goflight is causing a bogus alarm? Are there any other Goflight users experiencing the same problem.Also, how can you determine which annunciator triggers the MA alarm? It is pretty useless when it just sounds without a visual clue. I have just come across a problem like no other I have seen in FS 2002. Everything seems to load ok but when I am in the cockpit (2D) I cannot make any of the switches, knobs or buttons work, if I switch views and come back the switch will have changed position. This includes the throttle, if I go to 100 % nothing happens, no sound change from idle and no movement. By the way this is for all aircraft. In the virtual cockpit none of the instruments display, just the blank panel. I also can not slew, the slew text appears on the screen but I can not move. No nose wheel steering. This is minor and I can live with this but I thought it deserved to be brought up. No biggie here!2. No wing airbrakes. This is big since American Airlines, Mexicana, UsAirways, and Midway, do not use the tail airbrake. These airlines have disabled this particular airbrake and rely on the wing airbrakes. If I am flying to an airport using the GPS window and the controller tells me to land, let's say on runway 4 and the airport has 3 runways, how can I tell which one is runway 4? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi!Does anybody know what has happened with my PC?I've just upgraded it from a PIII 500MHz too a AMD Athlon XP 2000+.Just replaced the motherboard (to a AOpen AK77-333), RAM (256 DDR) and the CPU.Now FS2002 won't start. I get the famous blue screen on startup.Please give a tip.

I'm wondering if there is some way to hook anti-aliasing (either through FS2k2's settings or directly to my GeForce) to a keypress? I find myself switching off anti-aliasing when I'm around a busy airport, and it sure would be nice to do this in the fly.Anyone know of a clever way this can be accomplished?On another note, any recommendations on a good tweak utility for my GeforceTi-200? I have been using nvmax for eons but they quit working on that and it won't support the current drivers.Thanks!
