Hi y'all :) I installed a Piper Cherokee 180 plane from Avsim for Fs2002 awhile back. I've tried to take it for a spin, but still haven't figured out how to close the engine's hood. I've tried the keybrd commands for opening and closing the aircraft doors..but it didn't work for the hood. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks, Yoram

Hi All, I hope somebody can help me with this problem I am having. Whenever I have SB open, the winds are incorrect according to SB. No matter what heading I turn to,the wind is always coming directly onto my nose. The windspeed is also at least 80 kts, sometimes as high as 500 kts.Of course this really makes online fling a pain because I am never doing the correct speeds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can find a good Gulfstream IV panel? Or does anyone know someone that is making one?I downloaded a awsome GMAX Gulfstream IV plane for FS2002 (not the navy version, but a civilian version made by Rick) and I didnt like the panel that came with the plane, so I replaced it with a Gulfstream V panel. The problem using the Gulfstream V panel is that the fuel readings aren't accurate cause the Gulfstream V holds more fuel that the Gulfstream IV (the GV panel has a extra fuel gauge)

I've been looking at FlightMax, but before I purchase it I would like input from anyone using it or an equivalent piece of software. I'm gonna go and read the review now...just want some personal input.I was wondering about its ability to be resized to fit on a variety of panels ie how it displays if it's stretched skinny and tall, fat and short for lack of a better description. So, if you have any suggestions about either FLightMax or another program, I'd sure appreciate some advice.I got thinking about this after seeing Aleksey's Dash-8 WX radar. Thanks, Adam

HiAs I continue to read positive and negative comments on Wilco's Airport 2002 Vol. 1 I have finally come to a conclusion on my perception of the Wilco Company. I believe that Wilco has produced many great FS-Add-ons that has advanced or enriched our Flight Simulation experience. All of the controversy over the new product is very astonishing to me, as I have never seen such negativity and disapproval towards ones product. I believe that Wilco has created a technology that is very unique and impressive. Although with the flaws and shortcomings of the technology I do think that it can be improved. I also believe that Wilco has dug has made it hard on themselves which they …

Hi all!I'm using a ff stick to fly my planes. for many aircrafts it works fine and from what i rekon gives the right "feel" a good example is the 767 PIC.However, with some others the stick becoms somewhat unstable and tends to "kick" for even the slightest movements. From my experience it, depends more on the .air file than on the force feedback section in the aircraft cfg, although I can not confirm this.so, does anybody know wether there is a way to configure the stick and prevent those kicks?BTW, mine is a Sidewinder FF proCheersHA5

The technology is already there and seems to be fairly benign as far as CPU power. I work at Lockheed Martin and a few guys there have been experimenting with some new voice recognition software. There is no calibration -- it's guaranteed to work on anyone over 12 years old. I tried it out and it was fantastic. I watched one afternoon as myself and 3 other guys/gals were able to flip through a technical manual and "instruct" the software what to do by speaking in a normal voice. It seems like this could be done in FS also; perhaps by release 2006. It would really add to the immersion to be able to say responses into a microphone via a teleprompter option. After a few…

I've been searching for the actual Afcad program by Lee Swordy in the file library. I've searched using the terms "afcad" "afcad132" "afcad132.zip" and even "Lee Swordy" but I get so many responses for other afcad related files it would take all day to search through. Can anyone advise me of the correct search term I should use or a direct link? Thanks,KP

Shift + L, Ctrl + L, and L (by itself) are the keyboard commands I'm aware of for controlling lighting on FS2002 aircraft. Does anyone know the general keyboard command for the taxi light switch? I've searched the help and the keyboard command lists that are available, but I can't find any reference to taxi lights.Thanks.Drew

  25. They told us they were releasing a first class ad-on with a low fps hit.Not only is that incorrect, the add-on doesn't even run a FULL and COMPLETE FSNAT. You have to program it yourself. What are your thoughts.Tim
