Iv`e been having problems with loading the RC ADVENTURES which asI clicked to run them the screen locked up and I had to re-runthe FS2002 programme .To solve some slewing problems I have also deleted the FS2002 cfgfile which gets renewed next time the programme is run, all thisis just a bit of background which may help.I decided given the problems and trying several ways to solvethem without success that the best way would be to UNINSTALL FS2002but it won`t uninstall using the usual method ie control panel/add &remove.I dont want to use NORTONS cleansweep in case I remove all the addonsetc.Can anyone tell me what to do I would be most grateful,Eric

When I say highest quality I mean the sharpest the sim itself is designed to render. Now, highest quality is restricted to a 3 mile radius of aircraft, best case. In the never ending quest to get more frames out of FS 2002, I'm about to take the leap and buy a Pentium 4 although I've been quite happy with my 866 mhz Pentium 3. I have two questions regarding the change:1. Will the pre-USB versions of Virtual Pilot Pro and pedals work on the Pentium 4 with Windows XP?2. Can I add a GE Force4 card down the road when I've got more bucks?Thanks for the help.Chuck

I've got an overlay done only 14 parking spots, and I'd like to use it over the MKE layout that I have. I labled the .txt file, KMke2, but when I go to save it asks if I'd like to save over the current layout and not create a new airport. Is there a manual for AFCAD or can someone help me? There are airports with up to 4 overlays, how do they do it?

Hi All,i am finding that alot of my AI flights are repeated!I have done Tools / Analyse / Duplicate! in AITMIt brings up all my KLM, Virgin and Swiss Air flight!What do i do with them?Do i delete them?Will this only delete the duplicate?I have found this feature by accident in AITM and although i have looked in the supporting readme there is no reference on how to use it!Your help is appreciated!Daren:-rotor

I wanted to say thanks to you Oleksiy for your great Dash-8. I've been using it almost exclusively since you released the first version. I know there's a lot of other flight simmers out there like me who have taken the time to get to really get to know your complex panel. Since I learned how to operate it and came to appreciate the superb flight dynamics and outstanding sound package, I can't stay away from it! Keep up the good work, there are a lot of us who really appriciate what you are doing.

Following a coment made in another thread about my Round the World trip, I've decided to try and visit the airports furthest North and South in FS2002 in the course of the trip.If anyone knows what they are, I'd be grateful for the information.The furthest North is, I suspect, the most urgent if it's in Greenland or Canada as I'll be arriving in those areas shortly.So far, the futhest North I've found is Tanquery Fjord (CJQ6) N81, 24.60 W76, 52.90.

Can anyone recommend a replacement for the default FS2k2 cloud bmp's? I'm eyeballing the RealityXP and they seem to look pretty nice. Can I expect a frame hit with those? Any other recomendations?ThanksPieter

Some users claim up to 5 FPS improvement!Here's a simple test: If you run DXDIAG from the start menu and check that 'spinning DirectX-box-thingy 'direct 3D' test' then instal DirectX 9.0 and do the same - it goes into warp-speed (kinda like the OMEGA drivers do!)..... so I guess it IS faster!(My OS is WIN98)

I've drawn up a skyway ramp afcad overlay for milwaukee, it's got all 14 spots. I assigned all skyway flights and the ATA connection/chicago express to use the ramp like the real world. I'm not worried where the different planes types go.

I have just recently begun to experience the stuttering I have for so long read about in these forums but never had the misfortune to experience. I run FS 2K2 with a PIII 1 GHz, 640 MB SDRAM, GeForce II MX400 64MB video card system. My FS2K2 settings are conservative and have never been a problem until now, with everything about half way up except for special effects. Frames per second remain good at 25-30, its just that now the graphics and the sound stutter briefly, simultaneously for a second or two, causing the usual frustrations at rotation and landing. ATC even stutters, like a repeating echo. Specifically, the problem seems to occur near major airports, usually not…

I seem to remember a great thread regarding spyware and flight sim related software that appeared here some time ago, but my searches haven't turned up anything. I'd really like to start using RW and get into the VATSIM environment, but they ask for some pretty personal information in the registration wizard. Does anyone know if this is something benign or something I should be concerned about? Also, I remember that someone mentioned RW as a user of "spyware" for ad placement, etc. Is there anyone who can confirm or refute? Elrond, perhaps? Thanks! -John

There's a real gem (at least in my humble opinion) that has recently been released. It's a Focke-Wulf FW200 Condor. It comes with a very nice panel and virtual cockpit. Also includes 3 liveries and extensive documentation. Just took it up for a quick flight and seems to fly pretty nicely too...although of course I have no idea what the real one flew like ;-)The file name is fw200a2.zip and it is available on the "other" site, and also at:http://www.fsfreeware.com/The only thing lacking is a good sound package. HiAs I continue to read positive and negative comments on Wilco's Airport 2002 Vol. 1 I have finally come to a conclusion on my perception of the Wilco Company. I believe that Wilco has produced many great FS-Add-ons that has advanced or enriched our Flight Simulation experience. All of the controversy over the new product is very astonishing to me, as I have never seen such negativity and disapproval towards ones product. I believe that Wilco has created a technology that is very unique and impressive. Although with the flaws and shortcomings of the technology I do think that it can be improved.
