Processor: P III 500 MHzRAM: 384MbDisplay Card: Hercules 3D Prophet II MXSound Card: Sound Blaster AudigyJoy Stick: Sidwinder Force Feedback ProOpSys: Windows MEI run several Flight Sims (Falcon 4, X-Plane, F/A-18, Jeppesen FlitePro) along with several other games with no problem. However, FS2002 runs extremely slow in the default configuration. About 1 frame per second or less. Does anyone have any idea why just the Microsoft sim runs so slow?Thanks

Hello All:I have learned the basics of using the Riva Tuner The version I have is 2.0 RC-12, and am tweaking a GF4 Ti4600 with patched 40.72 drivers from Nvidia installed. Topic 14113 discussed that under Textures->Optomization that in addition to setting multiple stages that can be optomized, that each stage can have a different degree of Anistropic filtering.The first layer selected would receive the highest degree of Anistropic filtering, with successive stages receiving a reduced amount. This would be done because layers beyond the first one would not benefit from the highest degrees of anistropy, and setting a lower level might also improve overall performance.…

The disaster was not with my new video card but with my existing motherboard. I decided to start a new string since the subject title could be inferred as a black mark against the video card, but my new ALBATRON GEForce4 Ti4200P Turbo is doing just fine, but only after I changed my GigaByte motherboard. Searched AVSIM, Planesimulation and a few others for this aircraft. Anyone know if there is an A500 for FS2002?I think that is what it is called. I have problems creating flight plans outbound Tel-Aviv when I choose to fly from Tel-Aviv after pressing the find route button I get message that say can not find route lease try vor to vor but it does not work only direct gps is working. And when I try to edit manually I dont get any waypoits routs or vor's on the map I even do not get Tel-Aviv airport. The problem does notoccure when flying inbound to Tel-Aviv Thank's

I'm planing to buy a PSS747 soon but how does it compaired to the 767 PIC which clame to be FS number 1 addons? I have post this question in the PSS support forum but get deleted. Well I don't blame them if it's against their market strategy. So in what aspect does this two products not the same? Does the PSS747 lacks behind the PIC a lot?

Cannot get the virtual cockpit to move. The cursor moves but not the cockpit. I've hit the F8 key to change modes as the instrucitons say but nothing happens. I setup everything as per all the instructions.Hope someone has and idea.Thanks,Gerry

Hi all I am intersted in the opinions of users of both X-plane and Fs2002. I read the review of X-plane and it does sound interesting especially the flight dynamics part which to me is the most important feature of a flight sim program but i just want to know what is it that makes the X-plane flight dynamics engine so realistic - what does it do/have that Fs2002 does not? I fly the PIC 767 and Dreamfleet 737 almost exclusively and while i have no real world flighttime on either aircraft the flight dynamics of both seem pretty good from my own experience and from what real world pilots have said about them so I am curious about the real merits of X-plane.

Hi allI decided to give the default Real Weather download ago, being interested to see how FS would display the miserable UK weather.... to my utter amazement, FS RW came up with some weather that was TOTALLY incorrect of what it's like out of the window @ the moment :-lol.Weather for EGKK area:Real life, now: Low overcast skies, frequent rain showers.FS RW: Scattered cloud, unlimited vis, no rain.I then decided to try out Shoreham weather (EGKA), it was saying clear skies, unlimited vis, no rain :-lol :-lol YEA RIGHT!!!!As you can see it's not just the weathermen who get the weather wrong, but FS is doing it as well,.. Lately I am seeing FS2002 lock up stop and then the little WinXP message box pops up when I inquire within as to the error, I note that the ATC.DLL is listed as the culprit. Do I replace it with a fresh one from the CAB files??? Anyone have ideas or recommendations.Tony
