I notice that Dell recommend flat screens as giving a clearer picture. However my computer guru believes that a normal, quality screen is more suitable for Flight Simulation.Has anyone experienced the difference?Cliff

AllI have the ch products pro pedals and have found out the their programming interface does not work. When my pedals travel 1 inch I get 30 degrees of rudder. I have been able to adjust dead zone etc within FSUIPC but I really need to cut the sensitivity way down!! Anyone know of any utilities that will allow this to work as the sensitivity offered in the sim has no effect and I am all over the taxiways and am afraid I will have my license jerked.Any help will be appreciated.RegardsBobG

I donwloaded and installed the gMax Fokker 100/70 but couldn't start it in FS2002. The aircraft was installed in the correct folder. I also read the manual for correct intstallation. I installed few liveries also. When I selected the aircraft in FS2002 and put my starting airport to NASA shuttle landing facility , then pressed Fly now! but the screen turned blue and gave me a fault something about exception in memory location. I pressed a key but was returned back to Windows. I had to restard and tested flying with other aircraft which worked fine. Here is my Fokker 100 Tay65 aircraf.cfg:(fltsim.0)title=Gmax F-100 American Tay650-15sim=Fokker100-650model=dpdpanel=sound=text…

With all this Fokker excitement, classic turboprop connoisseurs don't want to overlook the fact that Rick has just released his new Viscount 700 series (including Capital and United liveries), plus he's upgraded the 800 series models and textures...all redone in FSDS2 with subtle reflections. They look terrific, and are available at http://www.btinternet.com/~rick.piper/.John

Hi,Hope someone else has experienced this so that I can get a fix. I'm using NVidia 30.82 with a GForce4 Ti4600 128Mb graphics card. I've set FS2002 to 1028 x 764 and, when in full screen mode my menu bars don't come on anymore when I hit the ALT key. They always used to and I once managed a fix by changing the resolution but that does not work anymore. I now have to hit the ALT + Enter to get menu headings when flying which is annoying. Anyone any ideas? Thanks. By the way I've tried the later NVidia graphics drivers and they give me black boxes around the menu - Can't Win!KD

Hello all,I switched from Win98 to Win2000, and am having trouble with graphics glitches in some DirectX games, incl. FS2002. Triangles of all shapes and colors flash intermittently while flying/taxiing in FS2002. I remember reading about this in the screenshots forum, but can't seem to dig up the post. Apparently, there is a patch to address this issue? Where can I find it?Thanks so much!!Regards,Carl KATL

Containing some of the most scenic screenshots I've ever found in FS2002, you can now see the report of the leg from Keflavik, Iceland to Nuuk in Greenland at the link below. The next leg to Alert in Canada, the most Northern airport in FS2002, will be flown next Saturday.

Help! I'm all alone up there. After two and a half months since my last flight, I have logged a couple of hours last evening but noticed that not once did I see or hear ATC address any other aircraft. The only thing I could think where the problem might lie is that I had renamed many of the folders that contained the default aircraft. Putting these back just as they were still has not resulted in getting my AI back.Does anyone have an idea where I should look for the problem? With well over 200 scenery files installed, besides other add-on, I cringe at the thought of reinstalling FS2002. I sure hope there's a relatively easy fix for this.regards,Heather

I'm looking to buy FS2002, could someone tell me how well it would run on my 700Mhz Athlon, plus how much hard drive a standard installation would take up.Oh, and are there any essential patches needed? Thanks, I look forward to contributing to this community if/when I get FS2002. 777

I finally got a chance to try out these today after being too busy since their arrival on Monday. What a difference these make. The atmospheric lighting is so much nicer with the glasses. The sky has volume, you have a great sensation of height and distance from the runway and the big AI planes feel big at the airport. The IR tracker makes taxiing and turning so much more natural feeling. I had to turn down my monitor settings to 800X600 32bit 100Hz (I could detect flicker at 85Hz) but it still looks fantastic at that resolution. The only disadvantage I can see sofar is that it doesn't appear possible to have HostSB open and have 3d stereo on at the same time. You have to…

Any help would be greatly appreciated. There is a program which searches for unused dll files and lets you discard them. I used the program, then lost it. I have a file of the "unused files", but can't find out their original location, in other words, can't replace them. My problem is that I can't load any logos any more on my internet pages. Does anyone know: a) the program I'm referring to or :( how to find the original location of a dll file, so it can be replaced. pr c) which dll file gives you the ability to load logos/pictures. ANY help would be great. Thanks. Greg.

The feedback from Flight1's DC-9 is very positive. Surprised? "NOT"!Really, who among us is surprised? I have two words to describe Flight1. "FIRST CLASS".You can not go wrong with Jim and the group. They should give lessons to some of the other companies! Hay Jim, maybe if you have a few hours a week you and the flight1 staff could do some volunteer work at Wilco.Again "THANKS" to the group from Flight1!!!!! Another winner. Surprise, surprise.Bill
