On the Web?? Tried to purchase Dash 8 and you need a user account to do so, but they are not accepting user accounts. Hmmmm. Any other means of purchasing? Tried to ask them but you need an account to ask them on their site, which you can't open.

Fellow virtual and real pilots,Is anyone aware of a compatibility table for MS FS2K2 addons? I'm looking for a table listing how these addons interact. For example, could I follow a table row and column interception and see if, say My Traffic interacts with Active Sky. If there is no such table, don't you think this would be a good tool to have available? Wonder if avsim would like to host it.Dave Vega

Whenever I capture a VOR and then set the course toward it, the plane seems to keep turning past it and I have to keep coaxing it back by making small course bearing adjustments until it finally settles down. It's frustrating because it seems like I am doing all the work to lock onto the thing. Here are my steps. What am I doing wrong?1. I find a VOR on the map.2. I tune the NAV radio to the VOR frequency.3. I hit the NAV switch on the autopilot.4. I turn the course indicator toward the VOR bearing.5. When it gets close to the bearing the plane begins to turn toward it.At this point, if I do nothing it will turn right past the VOR heading and fly off like a lost puppy. So…

Okay, I know I am a little slow on this one, it seems that more and more planes and panel addons are starting allow the movement of panel systems from one monitor to another, since I have always used one monitor and with more and more addons and programs coming out to make Flightsim more realistic and all, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get started with setting up a 2 monitor system, how the things are supposed to work and what products are supported under. I'm very curious if the aircraft includes them? The (real) Dash 8 is one of my favorite aircraft to fly in as a pax, as it's one of the few where you can see everything from gear deployment/retraction to the props and control surface movements.-John

Ok I am deciding on which video card to get now. I have a 1.8ghz, 256 RAM, 80 GiG computer. Am i looking to get a card that will give me the best performance for Micrsoft Flight Simulator 2002. I was wondering if an ATI Radeon 9000 PRO 128 MB video card would work well. Also, is there a better video card for a price range of about 150 to 200 dollars. Thanks!

Does someone have a list of the airports that display jet walkways ( or whatever those thingies are called that passengers walkthrough to get to the airplane)? Using the search in the file library for jet walkways did not turn up anything. Are there airports for which these walkways have been added in the scenery files?Thanks for the info.Bob Fisher

If you're having trouble flying helos or just like to fly AND watch the scenery you owe it to yourself to try Stephen Hanley's Helohud. It replaces the visually intrusive panel with a comprehensive HUD. I've been using it for a while and I love it. It is a brilliant piece of programming. Some may say it isn't "as real as it gets" to which I would reply its beyond leading edge (at least for GA). Great job, Steve!

hello to all simflyers out there, i need your help in setting up a multiplayer via internet for myself and a couple of other friends of mine. i've tried being the host and i have got no where with it. one of my friend has tried, which he has DSL, and still nothing. we've done it the way fs2002 say it should be done, but still nothing. can any of you mulitplayer simflyer out there help me with this. and could you be very detail in your explanation please. thank you greatly acidplant

Santa wants to bring me a new graphics card and I have questions - just like everyone else on the subject. But I haven't seen one question asked yet when searching this forum.I'm currently running FS2k2 on a KG7 motherboard with 512 megs of DDR memory and GeForce2 MX 32mb PCI card. Indeed, I'm running on the PCI bus even though I have an AGP slot due to 'grandfathered' equipment from my previous system.I'm very satisfied with the performance of FS2k2 except when it comes to video. It's pretty jaggy and I'm not able to use AA with my card.Question - if I were to upgrade to a GeForce3 or GeForce4 card, would I be happy with the results? I know none of you are mind reade…

With the release of ActiveSkyRE and the PSS Dash 8 (with it's wx radar) does anyone know of a way to add a wx radar to the DF737, PIC or PSS A320? I ran across something from Project Magenta, a payware version of Wazzup that mentioned weather, but I couldn't figure out what it actually did. Am I grasping at thin air looking for a weather radar or not?Lobaeux

What exactly is the problem?It seems to me that the problem some people are having is with the pricing scheme for the liveries.If you actually take the time to read the PSS website you'll see that they offer a cumulative discount for the liveries - ie the more you buy the more you save. Dear Sirs,Initially, when PSS released their dash-8 I was quite impressed with what I saw. I went to their website and browsed quite happily. I then picked one livery

I changed IDE controller to both in the BIOS of the old P2 so that the CDROM would show up again, I then booted up windows and my display driver has been erased, and the network connection and internet do not work. The router is showing a signal from the PC. I connect on a home network of 2 PCs sharing a DSL connection. The other PC works fine, except it obviously can't "talk" to the other PC over the network. I really need to get the internet and networking issues fixed, and then once that's fixed I can download a new driver.Thanks a lot for any help

Got my machine speeded up and now can handle the extra strain associated with all the new coverages.Which program is the best...I only know of FSGENESIS, which interests me since I believe they also upgrade many of the airports (I think).Thanks Everyone.

I need help finding the update file to original Geoffrey Applegate Beech Debonair not the VC update. I have searched here and at flightsim without any success. If anyone knows where to find this file I would appreciate it. Thank You
