I have recently rebuilt my machine using winxp pro and SP1. When starting FS Sky world SE I get an error meesage:Component 'EXIMG2.OCX' not correctly registered: file missing or invalid.I have searched the c drive for this file and it does appear to be missing. As I had no problem with xp home and FS skyworld I wondered if this file is not part of the professional version.Has anyone had similar problems? Howard

Or is it who's pirating whom? In any respect, I've noticed that a few panels are being released as payware with FS2002 default gauges included in the panels. I've also noticed that SOME people are including repainted FS2002 default aircraft as part of their packages too and charging a fee. (To make matters worse they look really bad.)Now, methinks that this is wrong. Even as part of a custom panel, recycling the default gauges or aircraft cannot be on the level. Sure Microsoft never complains but I would wonder how many of the same people practicing this would mind if their custom panel bitmap were recycled as part of some one elses work?Just an observation.Mike T.

Just wondering if you have to plan your whole flight from within FSNavaigator, or does it pick up your flight plan from FS2002. I downloaded it but it seems sort of complicated to plan a flight. I guess if that's the way it is done, what is the easiest way to plan? Just drag and drop from origin airport to destination and then navaids along your intended route? It makes sense to me but seems sort of tedious. Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me. Thanks alot.

Hi there,I never really wondered if there are any FS2002 aircraft (preferrably GA planes) that realisticly model errors associated with the magnetic compass (i. MSFS is a fantastic product, and is made even better by the incredible efforts of third party developers. With the ever-increasing power and (sort of) decreasing costs of personal computers, the ability for the average person to simulate flight and the machines that make it possible is amazing. The future of this hobby/training tool/obsession holds a great deal of promise.However, I have one very great concern with the next version of FS. Hopefully, my fears are unfounded, and all will be well.The logical progression is towards virtual cockpits and 3D panels, and I have nothing against that. these Intrusive messages on the screen??? I of course want any annunciator lights that warn of the same to work on a panel, but I would love to get rid of these annoying red onscreen messages. (Especially the Overspeed). :()Can anyone please help?Kind regardsLaz

Like a few others I have had the problem of watching the undercarriage and flaps retract whilst watching a replay of my beautiful landings (on some planes).I tried lots of things to fix this and have now found (on my system anyway) that if I go into spot view after landing and then view the replay in spot view, everything shows correctly - gear is down, flaps are set, spoilers activate and reversers work.It seems that if you change the view to watch an instant replay, the aircraft goes into a clean configuration. Hope this helps anyone out there.Colin

Hi guys,as a result of virus and other problems I will have to revert my system partition (together with FS2002) with an image from summer. A lot of stuff in FS2002 and many addons have changed since then. What kind of experience did you make when you simply copied the backed up FS2002 folders over an earlier installation of FS2002. Will this work or must I expect serious problems. Are there any clues or things I have to take special care of?Any advice appreciated.Alex

In the new topic "More news from the guys who don't listen" (or close to that, lol)It states thats the BA Tail liveries and the Air Canada Jazz liveries are now available seperately but at the bottom of the post it says the BA Tails and AIr Canada Jazz Liveries will remain as packs...Soooo......are they going to stay as packs, or are they going to be available seperately?Is the topic about the livery problems refering to this or something else?Just asking because there are a few Jazz liveries I would buy and some I would not.Thanks to whoever clues me in!! lolShane

Hi,I have this thing already for a year or so,but I though I'd let you guys know that there is a replacement model for the default VOR's,much realisticer,especially in Europeyou can download it at http://www.ltba.net/fsmodels.htmI didn't notice any frameratehit and they look very nice.all it does is replacing the deault VOR's with a new model at exactly the same spot,so it's only a visual enhancementenjoy!

I dont know whether the screenshots have been edited at all, but it seems to me that some screenshots I've seen here have an enhanced sky colourTo me, one of the biggest let downs with FS2002 is the horrid and unrealistic shade of blue of the skyIs there any software available to change it?thanks

On arrival into KPHX, descending out of 8,000 feet, in my shiny Ariane America West 737, push pause, and go and watch "Freddie Got Fingered". I'll never get that hour and a half of my life back, I can't figure out which movie was worse: "Freddie Got Fingered" or "O".Anyways, my whole problem.... FS Flightmax, dl'd it two consecutive flights in a row, frozen on approach after pausing, then trying to return. Anyone else run into a problem of freezing with FS Flightmax.
