Hi,I am upgrading my PC primarily for the use of FS2002. I will be installing my existing Radeon 8500 (64mb) in it. I want to hear from anyone who has recently purchased a new PC (off the shelf, NOT custom built) and is using a Radeon 8xxx or 9xxx card who has had NO PROBLEMS with lockups and FS2002. Blistering framerates are not critical (but nice) however solid stability IS mandatory.Please tell me what you bought so I can consider the same machine.My current specs are:Compaq 5838 with 1000 mhz Athlon classic40 GB 7200 rpm HD512 mb RAM pc100Radeon 8500 - 64 mb videoThanks for any responses and MERRY CHRISTMASBill

HiI installed the beta version (4.09.0000.0308). I downloaded the final and it refused to install stating "Not Win Logo Approved". Dont really care but if the final has changes then I would want to install. Anyone have an explanation for this?RegardsBobG

How easy is it to say create a custom thunderstorm with the program? Is the user interface complicated in this regard? I just set up a second monitor and am having problems. I have a Visiontek GForce TI4600 card. Moth monitors are working fine in the Windows XP environment, but in FS2K2 it gets weird. I sometimes can drag my mouse over to the other monitor, but I can't drag any panels over. I'm not using the nView that came with the card, I read bad things about that, I've just set it up through Windows. When I run the decompiler of the traffictool addon, it creates aircraft.txt which doesn't contain all the aircraft I have on the aircraft folder. What am I doing wrong?

How do you do an auto pilot check.I notice it on real life check-lists and recognize it is probably an extremely important check given a runwaway auto pilot risk (especially at take-off).I just do an on/off cycle then confirm- off and make sure my trim does not change. Anything else to do??Thanks.

Hey Everyone. I've been toying with FSNavigator for a while now and I can't understand what seems should be a easy fix, but no luck yet. When I build a simple flight plan in FSBuild, I then send it to FSNavigator. When I plan the flight in FS2002, you have to specify IFR to get the High Altitude Airways to become an option. (At first I didn't know if there was some sort of interface that runs FS2002 Nav off FSNavigator) which would be great! I find that I can't take off IFR without planning it the same through FS2002. Therefore I went back and exported the same flight plan from FSBuild to both FSNavigator AND FS2002, ok fine.The main problem I'm having is that when …
