I'm noticing an admission by many, including the magazine guys, that they don't seem to go to full flaps on landing.The best I can gleem is a type of by feel approach many of these guys use. I like the the extra speed aspect for safety as long as there is plenty of pavement ahead. And when I go full flaps in the sim (Commander) I notice I get so much drag that at the 700 fpm descent I may have to throttle up to maintain my approach speed.So how should it be done?? Fly it by the book and go to full flaps when you have the runway made or carry a little extra speed, and just put in flaps to just shy of full?? I must admit it lands better w/o going to full flaps. Hello Gang!Can someone tell me if there is a limitiation as to the amount of installed sceneries in FS2002? The reason for my question is that it now appears that any additional sceneries I install, even though I activate them within FS2002, are no longer appearing in my scenery.cfg file. I have reached nearly 947 addons and I have a feeling that the scenery.cfg file is no longer handling any additions.Has anyone run into this before?Sincerely,Dennis D. Looking for a real good air file for the vought when i want to cool down from the extendsive learning curve from capt. sim's 727 and pic 767 and take the vought but there's got to be a good file some where that's better than the default. Thanks Louis

Has anyone succesfully merged the Posky 744 v3 with the PSS 747 panel?Using the PSS .air file and most of the PSS aircraft.cfg the aircraft has a nose-down attitude of around 5 degrees on approach, and on takeoff it lifts off by itself before Vr.I could try using the Posky .air file, but I'm not sure how accurate it is.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Hi guysJust had the G4Ti4200-128mb (MSI) installed. What a difference this card makes to FS 2002. My only slight problem is that I can control most of the card functions through Display options but I am unable to adjust Brightness, Contract and other output settings. The panel is there but appears to be greyed out!Any one else had this problem? The game finds the IP game, I connect but there is no one else in the game. LOL I have reinstalled all WIN98 Dialup/DUN RAS Modem etc... Could this be a fs2k2 problem and not a computer one?Thank's ALLN525CJ

I've noticed that if I Alt-Tab to the desktop and them go back to FS2002 I lose my hotkeys for the stereo adjustments with my ED 3D Glasses. Anyone have any ideas why this happens and how to fix or avoid it?

Hey gang,Could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to fly turbos? Or maybe this can be answered in a few sentences.I saw on here one day a dissertation on how the turbo works, but I could never really find what this meant when you were flying.I have the 3-lever thing down for pistons (throttle, pitch, mix), but I'm unsure as to what the 3 levers do in a turboprop. I'm guessing black for power, blue for pitch, and I have no idea about what to do with the red. Hi,I purchased Simflyers IAD and I've been having some weird problems with it. First of all, when I pan around the aircraft, some of the ground textures flicker. Anybody try the new C172 panel yet? I installed it correctly, I think, but I keep getting a gauge error everytime I select the C172 aircraft and FS2K2 locks up. Is there a gauge problem or maybe I need to try to reinstall again?Thanks!Airbus
