Do any airlines fly into Rockford (RFD) anymore. I know Skyway use to back in the mid 90's. I can't find anywhere that says airlines operate in and out of it. Did it just fade into the background with ORD, MDW, MSN an MKE taking over airline traffic for this region.

If i have a plane that i know is suppose to function when using teh Shift+E+2 to open something adn i cannot et it to work what should i doooo???????????

I just had a cable modem installed.( Now I can download planes without having to set it up before bed.) I downloaded ZoneAlarm as I saw recommend here on this forum. I was previously running Norton Antivirus. Do I let both of them run or do I shut down Norton AntiVirus.Thanks Chuck

I was just flying from Miami to Atlanta on VATSIM, on my approach to KATL when all of a sudden all the servers went down and all the ATC/Pilots disappeared. Did anyone else experience this? What happened?

Ok, after deciding to FINALLY buy a new video card last week,I figured I'd push my good old Geforce 2 MX400 to the limits. I have the Gf2 overclocked about 20% (it locks up if I try too much more), a 2.53Ghz P4 OCd to almost 2.9Ghz, 1Gb PC1066 ram, and a Maxtor 80gb ATA133 drive... If you can't read the screen shot (stupid compression and 125kb rule ;) ), I have EVERYTHING maxed out, resolution set at 1280x1024x16 (32bit kills frames...lol), running Active Camera (the module that makes you sick when you fly) and the Garrish Tree replacement. I managed 23fps... any guesses on how long the Gf2 will last before I start seeing artifacts and other junk??BTW, hopefully my 970…

Hi all, I need to increase the engine spool up time of a few jets to improve automated flight behaviour (on most jets pitch changes need more time than the engines need to spool up, thus the aircraft often overshoot their FMS altitude constrains). How do I go about changing it, do I need to study air.file design?Best Regards, Uwe

After running FS2002 Pro without a single problem since it's release, I have suddenly developed this situation...When running FS after an AI or scenery install where the databass and indexes are built, FS seems to never quite finish loading. I select an airport and craft, but only some of the scenery appears. Everything looks sort of normal but there is no animation (props turning, ailerons moving, etc.) and clicking on the 2D panel switches has no effect unless I change views. When I come back to 2D the switch is then flipped.Sometimes deleting the FS2002.cfg files works, sometimes it doesn't. Once I get FS to load properly it seems to be OK until I add more scenery or A…

Greetings everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the smoke effects back to my default a/c???? I did something in the effects folder to one of my other a/c and have managed to screw something up.If anyone can help that would be great.I do not have tire smoke or start up smoke but the start up smoke file is in the effects folder????????? Hi Guys,Little white, rectangular blocks keep showing up - and immediately disappearing - on my scenery and I can't seem to stop them. I'm sure I've screwed up my settings somewhere.I'm quite sure it is not my equipment because it's all brand new:ASUS motherboard/Intel 2.66 Gig, On board sound, 512 meg memory, ATI 9700Pro video, and LCD primary monitor - SVGA secondary.So, if any of you have any thoughts on this, I'd certainly appreciate hearing from you.Regards, John

Does anyone know whether or not the new FSDS2 will be compatible with FS2k4. I have heard that FS2k4 Will only support Gmax models, also it will not be backward compatible as in the past.R.Taylor

I haven't flown the Deb for a while so I decided to reinstall the new package rather than worry about patches. I carefully followed the instructions and removed all signs of any previous installation. However, that removed some documentation I had on how to use the autopilot. I cant find anything about the autopilot in the new download. Am I missing it somewhere? Is there some other source? How does this autopilot work?

Hi friends,think i'm getting crazy around this one!I did as usual a manual install of the panel; after that as soon as i select TWA757 i got errors :-(Downloaded the small upgrade and overwrite panel.cfg plus 3 gauges but still no joy.Everytime i select TWA757 FS2002 alerts me:error with ZBLEEDPRESS.GAUerror with ZXBLEED.GAUerror with ZSTART.GAUerror with ZPRESSURIZATION2.GAUFS2002 let me go ahead after tenth of alerts and if i try the sim shut down!!! I am looking for a sound card that works fantastically within the Windows 2000 PRO environment. I have a SOYO Dragon Plus MB with an AMD Athlon 1700+ "Duron" processor. This MB board does have an integrated C-Media 6 Channel sound chip, but I get periodic sound stutters which is driving me crazy. I suspect that it is related to the operating system. I have used the Sound Blaster Live within Windows 98, and never had sound stutters. This has all started when I converted to Windows 2000 PRO.I also loaded up the PCI Latency fix that I found elsewhere within this forum, but the problem has not gone away.
