I have a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with Win98 on a Gigabyte KT400 Mobo w Athalon XP 1600 Chip.I have read a lot about changing the antialiasing settings. Yet as far as I can find, it's either "on" or "off" in MSFS2k2. I cannot find a setting on my card software that gives me an option to change or modify this setting.Anyone have any help??Thanks Darryl

I recently installed FLight One's 737-400 package. They have a procedure that sets the simulation to a cold start. When I run any other plan they now start with engines off. Yet, I can find no setting in fs2002 that permits this to happen. Any ideas what is happening here. I am planning to reverse the procedure in the 737-400 but even if that works it does not explain how all the planes are starting cold. THanks for any insight.

When you guys talk of "benchmark numbers", is this a standard "Benchmarking Program" that you are running?Where can a person get this. i am interested to compare.ThanksD

Hi,Does anybody know of a program for FS2002 that can extract all the known ATIS frequencies to a text file?It would be nice during flight planning to be able to look up an ATIS frequency of your arrival airport without having to jump there first or having to use the "World", "Map View" commands when you get a bit nearer.Thanks,Steve.

Well, after making at my destination airport with only 4lbs of fuel left (psst don't tell the vFAA ) I decided to look for some performance charts for the King Air. I could not find any on the web anywhere.You can buy the real airplane manual, and that would be nice to have, but since FS2002 might not perfectly model the real plane it would be an expensive gamble, and not really necessary for just goofing off on a computer a few hours a week.If anyone has any they'ld like to share, or knows where I can find some that would be great.If not, I'll have to make my own .. *:-* Update I've got most of the data I need for the first pass at the charts, now I just need to spend …

jerrycwo4Have been having trouble bringing this AC to FL340 ( with full fuel) before my Instrument Flight Plan has been cancled because I was too slow getting to altitude. I was climbing at 1800 FPS at a speed of 280 IAS but as I started passing through FL220 or so, my speed stared to slow to the point of STALLING. I went to FULL power and lowered to a climb rate of 800 FPS, but plane still STALLED and I got that nasty message, "Your flight plan cancled" ! Has this happed to anyone else flying the B737-400 from Flight One ? Thanks jerryPS Does anyone know the correct climb rate (and speed) for the B737 ?

Hi This approach chart is for the NDB approach into the town of Rockhampton , Australia.You can see that it incorporates a right hand turn hold of 140/320 degrees. When you are cleared to commence the approach you go outbound on 320.When would ATC clear you for this approach ? - because after you cross the NDB and do a right turn to go outbound on 320 , you are going to be a long way left of the 320 outbound NDB track. So why is the hold pattern , a right hand pattern and not a left hand pattern.I'm not a real pilot - so obviously I am missing something.Thanks Barry

All the icons on my desktop have been shunted to the top left hand corner when I close FS2002. I have my display set to 1280x1024 32 bit colour and FS2002 hardware setting is the same.It would seem that at some point FS2002 goes into 800x600 mode (for the opening/splash screen?). I am sure that you experts out there know of some way of preventing this?Thanks in advanceDon Rowley

I was wondering if anyone else had purchased one of the refurb throttle quadrants from Elite a few weeks back. I got the last King Air quadrant, received it a couple of days ago and basically have had nothing but problems with it since. I dont want to start any public mud-slinging here, so please either send me a private message on these forums or email me if you have any experience at all running a throttle quadrant from Elite in FS2002 under WinXP. I know that not many use this yoke, but I happened to pick one up for a really good price, but found out that Im not getting any pitch control in FS. I was wondering if anyone is using this yoke with WinXP as a gameport device. I thought I read somewhere that the yoke was incompatible with WinXP, so I thought I would ask before I dual booted to a dos based OS. Thanks alot for your help.Craig

Anyone know if Brands Hatch Racing Circuit, UK, has ever been created for flightsim reference? Silverstone has been done, I know, enabling rotorheads to land their Jetrangers there pretending they're Michael Schumacher; but I've yet to find Brands.Presumably it's shown in that VFR photoreal stuff, but I'm talking freeware or affordable here.
