Hi everyone,After running FS2002 successfully with very few errors for over a year I now need some help.When trying to download real weather, whether from 'Get Weather' or directly from the internet, FS2002 gives me the message 'The System cannot find the file specified'. WHAT FILE DOES IT WANT.Rant mode onWhy can't programmers at least TELL you what file it is looking for.Rant mode offI've deleted the FS2002.cfg file and allowed FS2002 to recreate it. No difference.The program works OK, it just won't let me get any real weather.Anyone have any ideas, aside from deleting & reinstalling the program?ThanksMichael

I just noticed that the FFG Saab 340 has a VC. Does anybody know what was used to make it (FSDS I think) and whether dynamic gauges can be added to the VC? Thanks in advance!Great Lakes Express VAKDTW

Hey everyone,I have a question regarding textures, specifically for the flight1 DC9. For some of the textures I have downloaded, they look nice and smooth. However, on some of the textures (such as the Northwest one) they look kind of jagged, especially when the zoom is out. Is there any way to make them look smoother? I have all my display settings at highest performance..Thanks!Zach

I just started playing FS2002 online and I have to say, I'm pretty lost. I can log in fine and everything works good, but once ATC starts giving me commands I find myself really confused. For example, when they start saying alpha bravo charlie etc.. . Also, I can never seem to find my way while taxiing. Is there a procedure to follow when you taxi? If anyone could give me or send me a site with some info on the actual flying part of online, not how to get it running, i'd be very thankful!

I am fairly new to FS2K2 and scenery installation. Have been installing scenery mostly for Alaska bush flying. Have Denny mesh, some Erickson Landclass and a number of others (e.g. Naji, etc.). I load most add on scenery in a folder FSScenery. Two problems seem to be recurring: (1) I get a "building collision" when I go to spot plane view and move around the plane to see what everything looks like (e.g. Alaska Docks 1 at Juneau) and (2) at some airports when I get ready to fly the bottom part of the a/c, wheels etc. are in the ground and if I am flying and try to land it's like I sink 4-5' into the ground. Hey all, I just put together a new mobo, CPU and RAM...I was on an AMD 900MHz on an Abit KT-7 Mobo...now as you see below I now run an Intel 2.4G P4 on an Asus P4PE mobo...Do I need to install the 4 in 1 Drivers? hi allsince reinstalling west austria mesh,ive noticed at innsbruck there are now cliffs on both sides of the airport.i've checked the scenery folder and its installed ok,could there be a problem with the flatten file for innsbruck airport??? maybe its too big and causing a problem with the mesh.when i first installed it,i'm sure the moutains sloped down to the ground...any ideas thx steve

I installed an AFCAD file for Simflyer's KDFW. I decided to go a back to the default airport and install Terri Kelley's add-on for the airport. I tried to install Richard Mohammed's AFCAD for the default scenery but it seems like it won't take (the Simflyer's AFCAD is still present after I imported the new file in AFCAD). I know I didn't install any overlays... How do I manually uninstall an AFCAD file in order to use a new one???Thanks for any feedback...

Hi fellow simmers,after upgrading (I wish) my system with a GF4 MX 440 I suddenly am missing all reflections except on default planes. Water detail and reflections have also utterly vanished. What could be the problem? Can anyone recommend the proper driver?Love, Festus

Has anybody else A/B'd a ATI Card with a GeForce card and found that the GeForce Card renders Mountain textures much more "rounder" than the ATI Card which seems to produce a much more jagged look?Darryl

Does anyone know what the warning message `Soundlib Fehler` followedby Sound File Unguelig means in FS2002. It comes up whenever I tryto get a overhead to come up on the panel of a 747.Any ideas guys??John
