Hey guys, been a flight simmer on and off since I was 12 years old, (back on my Atari 800!). Took real flying lessons in a trusty old Cessna 152 and nearly all of my simming is in the smaller planes that I would really fly. Just today I've noticed that there are no reflective textures in FS even w/ the option enabled. I've recently installed a new vid. card so I bet that may be the problem, but I believe they showed up before today w/ my new card(though I'm not positive). I have 733mHz 512 SDRAM, Nvidia GForce 4 MX 420 w/ 64mb and my drivers are 4.13.01.4019.

Hi all,Due to a damn virus had to restore my sys ... I was with XP before this happened , at Meigs with settings HIGH and default Cessna from cockpit I was getting 28-30 and at spot around 25-28FPS.Well , after the restore , and due to XP problemm with the videocard , I got the Win ME ... running really good and no problems , but when I set the FPS counter was really bad , around 12FPS at spot and 16FPS at the cockpit .. I changed the nvidia drivers around 3 times , and nothing changed so Im using the 41.09s ... Some of the aircraft I have installed have the icon RWYINFO as part of the panel. When I activate this Icon, and insert the airport id the data base it is looking for can not found. Can anyone please tell me what is required for this to work.ThanksCOPKSPI

In FS2000, the default Cessna had red instrument lights for flying at night. In FS2002 Pro, my 172 has the entire panel lit up like I have a dome light on. I can press ctrl-L and the cockpit lights go off entirely, which is not desired either. Do I have something set wrong in the simulator? I am expecting the instruments to go to the dim red lighting. Is this just the way it is in FS2002 Cessnas?DM

After start and/or in the middle of a flight, FS minimize itself without any reason. I have reinstalled FS and tried older graphics drivers with no help. I have not changed anything in hardware or setups beside the graphics driver. Any clues?PC

Does anyone know if the default AI traffic in FS2002 Pro follows the quanrantal rule (that would be the semi-circle rule for all you Yanks out there LOL!). I'm not sure it does, as I've flown a lot of European flights and seem to get a lot of jets whacking past me at the same FL with a 1000knot closure rate!I'd appreciate it if someone could answer this one, cos then I don't have to bother with it either if no-one in my virtual world is adhering to it!

Hi,It's been a couple months since I played FS2002 and I am trying to brush up on my navigation and landing skills. I've been trying the lessons and doing ok with the exception of a couple of them. I don't know if it's my fault or if the game is screwing up. Does anyone know a website that outlines all of the lessons in detail? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I screwed around with my aircraft config and did not back up the original. I only messed with the flap section and now my inboard flaps dont deploy! DOH! Would someone show me the correct settings in the config for the flap sections? Or e-mail me the default? All I really need is the flap [email protected]

Grrr! For some reason Windows (I have ME which can open them itself) has unassociated whatever program it uses to open the zips(I'm almost 100% I didn't do it). Where is the .exe for the program it uses to open it located?
