now that i have a TON of AI traffic all around, every now and then i like to setup at some busy airport and just do some plane spotting. lately, i've discovered that once i get into "position", all my sound is gone.what i do is fire up FS, decide where i want to spot, select End Flight, load up where i want to go, which plane, time, etc.. then, once i'm there i slew to a good spotting location. presto....no sound. its definitely there before i decide to move to my spotting location.this happens only when spotting....when i'm flying all seems well.any ideas? thxchris

OK, so I screwed up again! Three things regarding this file. 1. Do not unzip into your main FS2002 folder. Unzip into a temporary folder and then manually place the PoMansMeridian folder into your FS2002 aircraft folder. Then unzip the other files as instructed. 2. Do not make quick decisions at 1:30am just before uploading a file. I somehow felt there was too much drag on the aircraft just before uploading, and so I changed it at the last minute (even though I had been flying the old one for several weeks). Big mistake. Now there is too much power and too little drag. Kinda hard to slow down. I think this can be fixed by increasing the "parasite_drag_scalar" in the…

Hello I was woundering if anyone has had a problem with the CH yoke sticking on the up and down. Can you use a lubricant og some kind? Thanks if you can help Jerry

Does anyone know how to extract airport information from FS2002? I would like to pull out the runway headings, ILS frequencies, radio frequencies, etc.. I want to make a database of the airports but I don't how to get the information out of FS.Thanks,

Has anyone got a link to a press release about Boeing's proposed new aircraft? My dad works for Boeing and says that the Commercial Airplane Division has proposed the 7E7, E meaning "efficient". The Boeing website doesn't say anything, and the announcement was made a few days ago, I think.Thanks!

First off I'd like to say this looks like a great Plane,of what little I've flown of it.The Cockpit and Panel look great.Not a Virtual cockpit but great Photo allround views.The Flight Model feels nice and Heavy also.I'm having problems with the Views though.When I come from a side view to the front view, Isee the side view cockpit photo in my front view.If I select look up view, then the side view willvanish and the front view will return to normal.

I downloaded the Airport Chart Viewer 3.0 tonight. It says you need the previous version. I downloaded the V2.5 version next. When I unzipped the V2.5 it gives me a Support folder with two setup programs, and also a zip file and another setup executable in the main folder. I am lost as to how to install the V2.5 which I need installed before installing the V3.0. Can someone please tell me how the heck to install the V2.5. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks, Bob.

I tired using the search functions but it never seems to work right for me so. I just wanted to know if anyone has the fixes for aiports 2000 v1 and 2 so it will work right in FS2k2. Herve' Sors has a great FS Aeordynamics site: It has links to AC design Forums and and sources of aerodynamics/aircraft data. Herve' is also posting my Aired.ini, and a couple of short documents I wrote. One explains much of the FS2K2 aircraft.cfg. What the lines do and which ones are only used by FSEdit. There are also some deep papers by Ian Kerr at the site. I expect my AAM.ini will also be posted at this site when I get it finished. Okay, after a few days of seeing what was being said about Flight Factory-Simulations, I decided to come out of the woodwork and see what simmers were saying about us. Come to notice, people were upset with the fact that we had placed Eko's panel on our website and had wondered if we had asked for his permission. In fact, that was one of the two major things that WE DID NOT DO. And unfortunatley for us, FFS took a major hit.We contacted Eko and gave him a formal apoligy for our actions. Typically, the carnal rule is, if you are going to host someone elses work on your site, at least ask for permission! And that is something that we completely overlooked. And we regret not…

Now i,m with AOL (yeah, I know) as my 56k dial up always disconnected when I started using FS202K, making flying online impossible, I decided to upgrade to aol ADSL (always on). Surprise, or what, I still get cut off, soon as I run FS.I've been on to aol help? for the last 3 days, they now say its the fault of FS (Aol runs ok generally) I have uninstalled aol, and fs, but no change.Thing is, I pay a good bit extra a month to have DSL, and one of the main reasons I wanted it for, was flying online, and worse, i'm tied to aol for the next 12 months!Does anybody know anybody who uses aol to fly online? I'd just like to know if its possible.............Bazza

If you downloaded the Skylark yesterday there was a problem when landing on uneven terrain that would cause a crash, this has been fixed, and the Float version has been added. Sorry for any problems..Al Kaiser

I'm thinking about defecting to ATI from NVIDIA because of the 9700's performance especially with FSAA and AF. These are real important for flight sims.How is the card working for you in MSFS 2002, IL-2 or other sims? Is there tearing, missing textures, alot of stuttering....etcI've been happy with my GeForce 3Ti200 but I'm ready to upgrade.Has anyone else made the switch?
