I recently read of an add-on for AI aircraft that I believ provides real liveries and flight routes of the major airlines.I'm not very good at doing this stuff myself so I thought this would be a good opportunity for an add-on.Is this add-on worth it??Thanks all.

Im interested in buying this one. But from the shots ive seen on their site it does not look as good as some of the american airports they have done.. what is your take on the scenery.

My home AP is KPHL and for some time ( maybe forever ) when I switch to tower view all I sometimes see is the back of a building. When I look at the map view in FS2002 the tower ( I am assuming it is the red square ) is way out of place compared to the real thing. If I use FSNav and move the tower view to the south side of the field near the UPS facility where it really is, all is fine ( I can see clearly now ), sing if you wish !!. I have no KPHL add-ons and am curious if anyone knows how to relocate the tower to its correct position. TIAJimBob

One one of the released scrennshots shows the Wright Flyer under an - how it looks like - overcast sky, but casting a sharp shadow on the ground.With all the new visual improvements we can expect from FS 9, I do hope MS will disable aircraft and ground scenery shadow, if the sky is overcast. This can not be soooo difficult. Or even better would be just a light shade of blur instead of sharp shadows..Wolfgang

I've been browsing through the file libraries looking for a new GA plane, but haven't really found what I am looking for. Basically, I want something that combines good visibility from the cockpit (i.e. the default trainer) with some speed. The trainer is nice to fly, but it hasn't really got the get-up-and-go that I am looking for.I like flying the default Baron with Steve Small's flight model, but it's a terrible sight-seeing plane.I'd prefer something modeled in GMAX (with a VC, of course). I have the FSD-Commander, which is great, but I have found that the gauges don't move smoothly in the VC. I know that they are coming out with a GMAX version of the commander, but I…

I like to fly around Ohio, visit towns and places I've been. But I usually end up flying near the Rocky Mtns, Europe, Alaska...etc because the default terrain in Ohio sucks. Admittedly, Ohio is rather flat in spots, but even areas like Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinatti seem awfully small for their respective sizes. Anyone know of any good mesh/sceneries for this area???

I posted this also in Active Sky Support Forum.I am throwing in the towel on Active Sky. I was cruising at 16000 in a pretty cool business jet, and all of a sudden I got hit with a down draft that caused me to loose 6000 feet and I lost total control of the jet and couldn't recover with full back pressure. After about what seemed like 30 seconds, I was able to recover. What is that all about?ERRATIC WX BEHAVIOR. I was also porposing for no reason. No A/I traffic in front of me on landing.. The crash sounds in Fs2002 are weak and unexciting. If I crash it sounds more like OOF! than BLAM! Is there a way to swap the default sound files for something more exciting and louder?Appreciate advice, thanks!JS

bought the Meridian last night and have been trying to get the Meggitt Avionics and the GPS to pass the initial start up phase without any luck. First I thought that was the only problem; but now I realize that none of the gauges work., not even the turn coordinator. After about 10 minutes I get a message error that the program needs to close. I uninstalled and reinstalled hoping to fix the situation; but nothing. All the ilumination lights work and the plane flies well. i'm going crazy here because the Meridian looks wonderful. I have windows XP Home Edition, Pentium 4 2.0 ghz640 RD RAM,Geforce 4 4600, 80 HD , Audigy 2. Thanks for any help I can get.Alberto

Hi,I'd like to run the PSS A320 and RCv.3.0 and would still like to hear AI traffic talk to the default ATC.I know the PSS A320 only uses one COMM channel,so I have to edit something in the panel cfg. I believe?Could somebody tell me how to do this?

When I ask flight planner to find a high altitude route from EHAM to KJFK it plots a route from EHAM via north africa and then to KJFK.Am I doing something wrong? How do I do this?Mans Pfeiffer

I have noticed that the view from the cockpit is off, its puts you behind the nose wheel, and when you go to set behind the wing in the VC it places the cockpit view way back there in the back. anyone have any new numbers for the views? i thought i saw a post similar earlier but can not find it.Happy FlyingAnthony Hurst

I'm not sure if this is right forum to post this in, so jere goes anyway.Recently installed the Catalina PBY "Flying Boat" by Abacus, also "Vietnam Air War," by Just Flight, without any trouble, but have noticed a couple of things I hope someone out there could help me with.Both the Catalina and one of the "Vietnam Air War" aircraft, the Fairchild C-119 "Shadow" gunship, seem pretty underpowered. I understand these things were not meant to be "fast movers," but they seem like they both need a LOT of runway before reaching takeoff speed. Hi,I have an odod fault that has developed in that I have 7 variants ofthe Opensky 747 British Airways. When I save a particular variant,close Fs2002 and return, it always goes back to one particularvariant and not the one that was saved as default flight. A just released Taxispeed gauge rcbts-10.zip by Rob Barendregt is available here in the library. I posted this on the PSS forum but somehow it didn't make the cut. Count me among the many who haven't been able to get their custom homecockpits to work with this addon. The worst insult is not being able to use the toebrakes on my Propedals though. Anyone know a secret for that?David

Has anybody noticed how dim the FS2002 T-VASI lights at Aussie airports are?? You can barely see them until too late and are much duller than the PAPI/VASI lights at US airports. Anybody know how to fix this ? Barry
