Is it still here? Where has it gone?Pilot737

Anyone using this kind of setup to display FS2002? Ive been contemplating this setup for a few months now, but am not convinced that Ill be happy once I get it not knowing too much about LCD projection panels. If anyone has any tips or are using this setup, Id like to know. Thanks alot.Craig

Jeezuz, how long have I been waiting for an up-to-date model of this airplane! :D :D :D Hope there'll be plenty repaints of this one soon!I do have a minor issue with this plane, though - when I select it and launch a flight, it will fall on its tail, as if the centre of gravity was off. Did any of you have the same problem?Just this little finishing touch, and I think this plane stands a good chance of entering my top-ten list! :-hahCheers,

Hi SimmersI am have a little problem...I NOW can't "activate" my smoke system by EITHER the "I" key or from the Drop-Down menu.Don't know what caused it though (must be all the d/loads) :)It happens on all aircrafts. The Drop-Down menu and the "I" key shows and works but like I have to "hold down" the key all the time.If anyone knows hoe to rectify this would appreciate the info.Happy Flying!!

It sounds like it's well on it's way, with beta testing occuring as we speak. I'm hoping that, with some of the added flexibility in the ACT (air filing, altitude changes, etc) that they have added some "intelligence" to the AI/ATC situation. I almost got squished last night in my DC-6 by a 757 given a go around after I landed. His touch and go was a hundred or so feet off my nose...YIKES!!!The traffic on final gets awfully dense, and the ATC seems to have no control over it...just "funnel them in" and hope for the best. Probably more an issue with the Project AI density, but I remember having a midair intercepting the localizer on my second flight with 2K2 with no add-on…

When i fly my Dreamfleet 737 at certain Airports(mainly addons), the ILS approach lands the aircraft to the side of the runway by a couple of degrees. Is this the fault of the developer and is there a way to make the plane land on the centre line without manually flying.Thanks.

hi Bobby, thanks for the kind words on the new sys. yes, i do shut down AV and screen saver b4 running FS. i am aware of the new bios at the Asus site. the reason i haven't tried it yet was after reading the info. displayed in the "more info". window for the 1009 version update it was my guess that the bios fixes didn't offer much if anything in the way of fixing any soundcard related issues. also, updating the Asus bios looks to be a bit complicated compared to the Intel "express bios" with the previous system. i was using the latest drivers but not with the newer bios. if you have time to give some detailed instructions on updating the Asus bios i will give it a try. a…

Hey gang,My only previous attempt with replacing the default AI ended up with pretty crowded airports. Too crowded, maybe.I went to the website to download the real world AI schedules for pretty much every US major and got all of the planes I needed. When I tried to take off from Atlanta, though, I couldn't get a word in edgewise to ATC, and 3 out of 5 planes were told by the tower to go around.So...obviously, Atlanta is a busy airport, and the AI version was without exception. I have Windows XP and get these annoying pop up adds that just show up. They pop up during my flightsim sessions which is really annoying. I have a cable modem so I am always online but not necessarily having my browser open. I remember reading that there is a file within the Windows folder that you either rename or remove to stop this. Can anyone help with this? Thanks

Hello Everyone...Just reporting back on some findings... Remember these are POSSIBILITIES BASED on OBSERVATIONS: And because weather changes every day, it is hard to make an exact comparison. I plan to run the next series of tests on the same exact weather data. However, I did run into porpoising on different weather data over the two days. The other hard thing to compare is even if you use the same weather data, FS Mateo and Active Sky could produce different results. And couple that with FSUIPC weather functionality adding another factor.In my eyes, reality is the objective.Problem (A) PorpoisingI have never experienced porpoising like what I experienced.Possible Causes…

Looking in the control panel, I don't see where I can change Mipmap LOD to -3 like I could with the geforce.Any idea where i modify this?

Is there a need to go, everything being equal (sliders), beyond 24 FPS which is is the speed movies are running to spectators satisfaction (no apparent jerkiness) ?Is there a sense of having a fps rate superior to the screen refreshing rate ?Dominique
