Hey everybody, I am looking for detailed military scenery of airforce bases, naval air stations and such, Primarily in the United states.. I got a great B1 and no where to fly it LOLAny one got any ideas???Don Harrison

HI allI have some questions i would really Like answered, if anybody has the time.1) Trim: I have come to understand that you use trim to keep the Aircraft level, but i cant seem to do it in jets, The Aircraft either climbs or decends, how do i get the plane to stay level i understnad how trim works but dont seem to be able to get it to work. can someone please explain how it works.2) When planning for Descent, i have read that you should find out what runway you are landing at before you descend, but ATC only tell me what runway when close to the runway, is there a way to findout before im so close to the airport.3) When i file an IFR flight with ATC why do ATC sometimes…

I was just curious as to what the difference is between locking a thread and completely removing one like it never existed. The latter has happened to me twice in this forum in the last month or two, and one post just tonight. I guess I dont understand why threatening threads that include bigotry and any other type of discrimination and harassment get locked down by someone who thinks they're important and trying to make a statement, and other posts that are completely trivial are completely removed from view completely.Craig

Anyone tried this? I downloaded it and all I get is an error that says "can't read a configuration file, program is endded" (yes the mispelling is correct). I'm running XP. Not much info in the read-me.Just wanted to try an altenative to FSMeteo.Thanks,Tim

Is theirt a way to view Flight Simulator 2002 other than within FS2002?

Hi all.Just downloaded Dimitri Samborski's AN-22 after seeing the screenshots. I ran into a problem during extraction of the file ML-An12.cy.AUTOPILOT.GAU. I have finally solved one of the major problems I was having simulating an extremely fuel heavy plane that is supposed to fly around the world. I've always suspected some of the dynamic blurriness in FS is caused when FS2002 runs out of "room" in the card's onboard graphics memory. For anyone who went from a 64meg card to a 128meg card, was there any difference in texture loading? Dynamic blurriness has never been a real bother to me, but I am beginning to spec out my next major system upgrade, as my four year old MB is getting way behind the times. I am curious, all things being equal, if the added graphics memory has made a difference for some?-John

Hello,I am having trouble installing the KMEM_NG scenery from Vladimire Svobota. The installation directions are in broken English so I may not be interpreting them correctly. Can someone who has successfully installed this scenery please give me some directions that are a little more clear than those in the readme file? I basically created a new folder in my Addon Scenery folder called KMEM. I then extracted the KMEM_NG zip file into the newly created KMEM folder. I then went to my scenery library in FS and added the new KMEM scenery, however, everytime I try going to the new airport, I get a slew of scenery objects not found errors.Can someone please help me out wi…

It is true that the flight model in FS leaves a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to 'heavies' which ever too often behave like overgrown cessnas. Still I think a large part of the problem lies with the yoke or joystick.Anyone who have flown a real plane, be it a 747 or a cessna will tell you that the force reqired to move the yoke is MUCH MUCH greater than what you'll need in FS, hence the unsteady pitch and roll control in many simulated planes.Now, here is a question (or a suggestion rather) to the computer experts out there (My own expertese lie elswhere unfortunately):Is it possible to create a module which renders either force feedback or joystick inputs s…

I have downloaded a new 747-400 called os744cv3afr. Some differences I have noticed compared to the original FS2K2 747-400.It's much more difficult to take of. Slower acceleration. Should it be so?The EGT very quickly turns red. I suppose this mean overtemperature. But nothing else happens. Why not?Only part of the aircraft visible in virtual cockpit and other view direction.Have I missed something?

Just curious, but does anyone if there are any regularly scheduled flights from California to Hawaii on a 737-400 or Airbus A-320, or is this flight out of their range? I thought about flying it with the Dreamfleet 737 and was curious if it is done for real. Thanks :-)

The History Channel, this evening, had a very good documentary on the P38, Glacier Girl, recovered from under 250 feet of ice in 1992. They also covered the restoration and first flight. It was an excellent show.Bill

I am having some issues with the new Lancer on the front page.1. No textures in VC view.2. Panel has a 3 inch gap at the bottom of it (runs along bottom of the screen)3. The aircraft will not take off. I have tried full power with brakes and letting it go, full power w/o brakes, flaps, and w/o flaps...What is going on here??:(Shane

I ve just downloaded this version of Pete Dowsons FSUIPC. The problem I have now is that none of the speed breaks on any of my aircraft deploy after landing. What am I missing here? i f anyone can help I would appreciate it.Richard

Just curious, but does anyone know if there are any scheduled flights between California and Honolulu or any other cities in Hawaii on 737-400s? I was wondering if this was within their range capability. I thought about trying the flight with the Dreamfleet 737 but wonder4ed if it is done in the real world. Also, how about the Airbus A-320? Do they fly regularly to Hawaii from California? I assumed the 737-400 and A-320 have about the same capability and performance since they seem to be used on similar distance routes. Thanks :-)

I feel like a bit of an idiot, but am hoping someone can help me out.I'm trying to navigate without the GPS. Let's say I am using a victor airway. I set up a waypoint on a fix that intersects another victor airway. I want to tune my nav radio to the VOR that the 2nd victor airway intersects, and set the OBS knob for the radial, so that I can see when I am passing that airway. However, I don't have the sectionals for the area, and there doesn't seem to be a way to determine the radial for that airway based on its name or by trying to click on it within the FS2k2 map. This, I am not sure how to determine when I have reached the fix.Short of actually plotting a course which …
