Hi Guys, hope you don't mind this question here. I am just wondering what things you may do to keep dust and junk out of your PC cases? We don't have a dirty house at all, but when I remove the side panel on my PC, it sure is dusty in there. I have two fan openings in the back and only 1 has a fan in it. Should I cover the other one? I have a fan in the front, blowing on my 2 hard drives. Just wondering what you all do. Thanks for any suggestions.Ron

Got a new computer running with Windows XP home and now my ATC dialoge box lettering contrast is such that I can hardly read it.I tried changing my desktop colors to no avail. Does anyone out there have any ideas to sharpen up the wording ?

But I wonder how commercially viable Concorde still is... Does anyone know where to edit the Facility Information? In the default 172SP, the Stall Warner sounds just as the plane is stalling. In a real 172SP you get the horn around 10 knots above the stall speed. I know that Stall is a function of angle of attack, not actually speed. But I think the horn comes on too late in the default plane because:1) I can set the main gear down on the tarmac at around 40 knots and not hear the stall horn, even though I am out of elevator. If I hold it a second longer (increase back pressure instead of letting her settle), I hear the horn and the plane enters the stall. In a real 172, the plan is still flyable as the horn comes on in landing, it just settles quickly.2) I can fly in 'Slow Fligh…

Hi all, Can someone explain how I can add additional variations for an aircraft? I downloaded the IFDG 757-200 in American Airlines "Astro-Jet" paint scheme, and installed it with no problems. Then I downloaded Ben Hewitt's repaint with the current American Airlines paint scheme, Ben's download does not contain any instructions on how to install his repaint, other than to say that the "base" IFDG 757 must be installed. How do I add Ben's repaint without "deleting" or "overwriting" the files that are already installed? My ultimate goal is to have both paint versions of this aircraft in my FS2002 aircraft folder. About 10 months ago my AETI yoke and throttle quit working. I did not open the case for fear of voiding the warranty. After weighing the cost of shipping this heavy yoke by UPS to Precision Flying Instruments PFC and not knowing what they would charge for repairs, I finally decided to open the case. I was in luck, since it was only a blue wire which had probably been stripped to severly and had broken loose from the variable poteniometer. I stipped the wire and resoldered it and now it works better than ever. I am now able to use my yoke and thottle and Cirrus pedals, and put my joystick on the shelf.Now it is as real as it gets.

I signed up for up to 2 hours of time in the full motion sim at FLight Safety's Boeing Long Beach facility next Tuesday. I will post pics in the screenshot forum. They had time in the MD-11 and 737-200, but I decided for an EFIS cockpit vs. analog and I felt like the MD-11 was overkill...although I would have tried the 777....Any recomendations from RW pilots on the best MD-90 panel with flight model? Can anyone recommend a decent front end to use when editing and adding your own flight plans of you own? I had one before FS went belly up and needed reinstallation, but I can't remember what it was called, plus it crashed when asked to do certain things e.g. sorting.Thanks in advance.

Could someone please help here. I've somehow lost all data for making flightplans outside the US. When I enter a foriegn airport, it will not register and sends me back the the default US airport that I had chosen last flightplan. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for recommendations on a freeware flight planner. Was using Nav 3.1, but when I reformatted, now the links on Ted Wright's website aren't working. Nav 2.0 won't work for some reason on my computer. FSBuild is really good, but when I use it with FSHotSeat, the city names include underscores ( _ ) in them, that messes with the copilot voice.So, I'm looking for a good freeware recommend to do my flight planning.Thanks,Lobaeux

Hello everyone: I'm having a problem with Lonny's 757 panel. I just downloaded the panel from AVSIM - along with the Delta IFDG 757. Problem is, every time I try to switch to panel view FS crashes! This happens no matter what aircraft I use (even the one that came with the panel!!) Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks!Cpudan80PS. Hello Friends,IN the last few days I have been experiencing a sudden FS2002 shut-off. It is very annoying, in the middle of the flight, connected with SB and having an espectacular flight, the sim just closes w/o a warning, there is nothing I can do to stop that, is very frustrating. The new FSCOF looks very exciting! But I have a feeling they are making this new FS for pepople that have very high end CPU's and VID Cards!!! Which i really don't like, guess because i have other stuff to pay first before FS Games, and i don't have the Big Buck's To spend to get the best high end CPU's or Vid Cards right now?? Forgive me if I am wrong about this or if this is true to run the upcoming FSCOF!?? I Hope they make this one compatible with all Systems to run FS like FS2002 is! Hi AllHas anyone out here got the autothrottle to work properly, then please give em a "How to" explanation.I find the manual very confusing. You have be reading several different places in the manual in the same time, with a lot of hyperlinks, so to find informations - and it will not work for me.Every time I engage Autotthrottle the plane immidiately goes into overspeed unless I make a wild climb.I can't get the EPR limiter to go below 2.0 - how do I do?I also can't get the IAS bug to go below 210 kts.I am having problems with the checklists too.
