Now I'm back in, and I feel like a complete newbie. Planes, Panels, and Scenery implementation seems about the same, but all this new Whiz-bang stuff with FS2K2 is downright dizzying. I see all this stuff about AFCAD, and TTools, and AI flight plans, and... oh my!I'm assuming one can replace the generic AI with real world planes flying real world time tables and such. Please help! The manual startup procedures for the Beechcraft Baron fails.I follow the manual startup procedures in the checklist for the Beechcraft Baron and the the engines fails to start. Clicking the engine start switch attempts to start the engine and then the engines just dies. I notice the Alt Load (Ammeter) never shows a current. Eventually, after trying several trys at clicking the engine start swith, the electrical power fails (I guess I drained the battery).If I select autostart the engines everything works just fine. Hi Simmers out there! :-smile12Great Model,great FDE but there is one thingthat boders me a lot.If the plane is landing at the runway she makes first a "one jump".That looks ugly to me and i dont think its normal,too.( I dont think the "Real Life" Concorde does that first jump. )So i tried it with all different knots on landing from 120 to 180kn,Visor up, middle, al the way down, nose more upnose more down......but no chance,stil making that jump.Than i deleted the "Ground Reaction" entry in the Aircraft .cfgtought maybe thats it........nop !Still jumping. :-8Must have something to do with the air file-aircraft.cfgbut cant figure it out.Looked at the france forum too,bu…

Can anyone tell me if this fantastic aircraft will be available for people in the uk to buy.As far as i can see its only available from the maam site and thats no good for us with uk debit cards.I so much want to buy this aircraft after using the demo for 5 hrs solid.

FS2k2 hangs at startup.When I remove the Fs2002.cfg it start normal. Then I make my personal setting and add the joystick part of the cfg, all is ok. A few startups later the sim hang again. Whats wrong? I have start using a new monitor the last week and are usung a higer resulution 1280X1024.Thomas ESNN

I have used Navstar 99 FMC for about five years for a variety of purposes. Recently, I upgraded my primary computer (800 Mhz) for a new 3.06 HT. After moving several files and aircraft from the old computer to the new, Navstar 99 is now asking for a Registration ID and Password on the new computer. Unfortunatley, I no longer have this information and the developer David Drouin appears long gone. So, it looks like I have Navstar 99 on the old computer with registration and password, and Navstar 99 on the new computer that times out after 30 minutes. The old computer has been reassigned to WideFs add-on duties such as FSMETEO, etc. I would be happy to run Navstar 99 through…

Hi folksSince I'm rather new in the "community" I just have one question here:I just downloaded Scandinavian Landclass files by Raimondo Taburet from flightsim.com. Now, it says shareware, but I downloaded it and there's nothing shareware about it. You can only "try it out" (haha) after paying ??? Is that shareware? I know it's not freeware! Granted Raimundo Taburet (and the FSFreeware group ???) has obviously created some nice stuff for all of us, but he's not the only one, and as far as I can see, uploading shareware is ok, but payware???? Hi FS2002 fan's, here is my situation, when I'm using the FS2002 in a normal screnery with everything normal I have the following situation, when my wife is :-grr screaming and I have to put in mute the game I see that when I press the "Q" in the keyboard I see that the frames rates work more then excellent, they don't come lower then 20's and then when I press "Q" again everything is back and the frames to go up and down like always, is not that the frames goes down, they look fine but when is mute is perfect, please let me now what I can do in my settings or what to do, here is my computer information:Pentium III 700 MHZ512 RAMWindows XPNVidia G-Force 4 MX 440Thanks and…

My FS keeps crashing whenever I try to access the menu bar. Going back from full screen to windowed mode doesn't help. Also, resizing any windows or moving any windows has the same effect. The error report just says error in unkonwn. Can anyone help?Misha

How do I change which aircraft loads when I choose a flight? I have downloaded the MV Challenge flight for the Concorde which uses the old FS 2000 Concorde but want to use the new GMAX Concorde from Project Mach 2. Probably quite easy but I haven't stumbled on how to do it yet!

I am about to upgrade my system with a XP2400 processor, ASUS A7N8X Deluxe board and 1 Gb PC2700 of memory. I will be keeping my two Maxtor HDD's 60 & 40 GB ATA 100's but going to Windows XP instead of ME. Which file system would you recommend NTFS or FAT 32. I know NTFS is more secure but are there any performance issues - good or bad?Cheers

Well, I spent most of last night with it. Here are my initial imppessions:I think it has tremendous potential. I'm one of the people who prefers the immersion factor in the virtual cokpit. This one is well done. It takes a while to get used to the whole clickable vc thing, but once you do it's neat.I had NO problems with the frame rates after following the advice on the Wilco forum. Getting close to 20 even with high scenery settings and 90%ai traffic.Now the cons...The documentation is just useless.
