hi allanyone managed to get the A320 woking with a USB Yoke and Rudders.its the CHyoke and rudders usb ive got ,i tried there new setup prrogram but its still all over the place.last go before it goes in the bin... best wishes steve 3rd payware aircraft ive bought and been let down..and last iron knuckles...flew like a Brick ready for pushback ..very bad FPS A320PIC...dreadful so far

I wanted to change the minimum distance that the Dash 8 flys. With in AITM you can create a new Aircraft XXXX.dat, but once I modified the minumum distance figure I couldn't figure out how to reincorporate it into the traffic.bgl, or even if that was were it belonged. I tried using the trafficbuilder tool from Microsoft, but either I did it wrong or it wasn't the correct way to handle it. Any help would be appreciated.GW

Hi,Anyone know what causes this....If you take to long in climbing or descending through an overcast cloud layer, the Airspeed drops to ZERO!!?? ... especially annoying if you have the planes autothrottle active, the engine(s) suddenly rev to max, as the Autopilot thinks the plane is at zero speed... Is this a bug or a 'feature' ?? If it is a bug, is there a work around?TaLaz

Is it possible to reset a plane to its original startup state (switches, power, etc) without restarting flight simulator. Example; start PSS Dash-8 with dark and cold panel, make short flight and land. I would like to start another flight at another airport with a dark and cold panel with all switches in there original state using the Dash-8. Thanks

This is really outrageous: a couple of months ago I purchased Wilco Airport 2002. After discovering that it was terrible scenery, I deactivated it. Since there were still remnants of FSNAT severely slowing down my framerates, I decided to fully de-install the application. ANd now hold your breath: all the AFD files for the areas which have A2k2 airports are GONE!!! No more entries in the airport registry, no more AFCADs. All I am left with are some old backups, which date several months back. I have LOST all my recently customised AFCADs! First I am mad about Wilco. How can they have a de-install procedure which simply destroys AFD files?? This is just the icing on the ca…

I have both Land Class/texture add-on's and I'm trying to understand the difference:With Ruud Faber's FSScene I only get replacement textures, but Autogen stays FS2K2 default?With Burkhrad Renk's FSLandClass I get replacement textures AND Autogen will be placed in area's where they should be (Urban/Industry/Farm)Is above true?I tried Ruud's (which I really like for the 3D effect), but I don't see the Autogen adapt to the terrain. This correct?Can somebody comment?I like to buy the US version of one of the both, but I'm not sure yet which one to pick.Thanks!Gideon

I wonder if anyone knows how difficult it is and what the steps would be to restore a default airport. I installed the SimFlyers KEWR (it is fine), but also added several AItraffic programs and I'm finding problems with aircraft location, ground routes, parking and really low frame rates (<10). I think I'd rather start over with the default Newark airport. When my CH Flightstick PRO is connected to the gameport on the Philips, I can not get the joystick to calibrate correctly. The buttons on the joystick are not recognized except the right button. That button shows it is the "Up" view for the "Hat" switch at the top of the joystick.Basically, my onboard sound chip is disabled. I loaded the latest CH Products drivers for Windows 2000, and I have the latest Philips drivers. I am at a total lost as to why the joystick inputs are not being picked up by the system during the calibration process.If anyone else owns a Philips card, please share your experience. My birthday today, so have a bit of pocket money to spend. (You'd never guess I was 27 would you!! :) )I have lots of freeware airports for the UK, but on big gap is EGCC, Manchester. So, I am going to splash out and buy some scenery to fill the gap!But which one to buy? Gary Summon's UK2000 version looks the best and is marginally cheaper. Simflyers doesn't look as good and has air bridges on both sides of B Pier, indicating a lack of proper research.Any thoughts and experiences with the above products would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody!I have read once or twice that the installation of a PCI soundcard, on a mainboard that already has on-board sound, might improve FPS and fluidity of FS2002. I guess that would make sense, because as far as I remember, these AC97 sound modules leave most of the work to the processor.I run a Duron 1000 with 512 MB RAM and a GeForce3 Ti200, and get usable 12-20 FPS (locked at 20) most of the time with most sliders to the right, no FSAA/AF, no AI traffic, and a resolution of 1600x1200x32. I'm really content with this setup, except that I cannot use AI traffic because it really stresses the processor.I'd be glad to hear of any experience with this kind of upgr…

I have been building gaming computers for myself and other for a LONG time and tonight my jaw almost hit the floor.For the past week or so I have been considering upgrading my computer. Maybe a new video card, maybe a new mobo, maybe a new processor....heck, maybe all three!I have been getting about 23FPS in FS2002, sometimes lower at really busy airports. Hi,We all pretty much know about FSW & their 'spoilt for choice' gorgeous cloud renditions (I for one run the prog). However even FSW doesn't seem to address the issue of the naff looking cloud layer bmps that show when you are a distance away.... Forgive me if this is a little wordy, but I will try to make myself as clear and concise as possible. When using the 2d cockpit and control panel, if I want to change my outside viewing perspective, it is easy to set it through view choices. The control panel remains in a fixed position whether I set outside view at 1.0 or reduce or increase it.But, when setting the view on the VC panel, both exterior scenery and the panel are moved by the same distance. For example, if I set the panel at .60, the scenery perspective will expand by the same amount. So, my question is, is there a way to set the perspective for the VC panel, without affecting the exterior scenery view. Than…
