Hello all, A quick question about realism and such. Is it possible to refuel your plane in Flight Simulator 2002 Pro edition? Me and a buddy were plotting a course to take us from Los Angeles Int. to JFK Int. then down to Atlanta then over to the Bahamas. Is it possible to refuel or will I need to use the "unlimited fuel" button checked? We planned on using F-14s and P-38s. Him in the F-14 and me in my fav. bird the P-38. But as you all know these planes DO NOT have the capacity to hold the fuel required. So is it possible to refuel at all? If not that's the #1 thing MS needs to add in the next version. TopdogP.S. What do you think the best one or two GA payware a/c are, and why?

Hi all,when I try to load an aircraft fitted with RealCRT gauges, FS2002 freezes. Does anyone experienced this problem? The curious thing is that gauges work fine in FS98, that I have still installed. And I'm a registered user also. I wrote to Tony D'Ambrosio, but his advices didn't help. Any clue? Thanks Francesco

that is an approximation.... but after 45 min I get an intteruption that asks if I want to send the failure to Microsoft and then shutsdown program. Running XP everything upgraded.... this has happened on two different setups and on different computers ( well almost.... I went from a 1.6 to a 2.4 reformatted everything yada yada yada ) I am using while in flight.... FDC, Activesky, Radarcontact. It might be the fault of one of these.... The one flight I did not using these did not crash. Any ThoughtsThanks in advance,Steve

Im really, really enjoying these MD80 and DC9 birds fromFFX/SGA. Among the best I have seen especially when coupledwith Paul Goldings panels. One question though...thereseems to be a head light reflection on the nose of both birdsthat cant be turned off if ANY lights are on. This wouldappear to be a bug. Does anybody know how to fix it? I don't get audio with ATC now. I reinstalled win 98se over itself to correct my videocard problem. I reinstalled FS and that didn't work.......any ideas. I get all the other sounds in FS just not the ATC vocals.

Hi Guys,Someone posted a fix for enabeling NAV 2 to work in 3rd party aircraft. I've copied it (see below) and placed the text in a couple of aircraft " .cfg " files to no avail.Here's the problem: Although the NAV2 RMI points to a VOR and displays the distance in some 3rd party planes based upon (probably just repaints of FS2002 default planes) Boeing 737-400 for example, I haven't been able to get NAV 2 to work on any others.Here's the text I've added to the specific aircraft " .cfg " file (the Gulfstream IV for example). Hey gang,Can anyone out there recommend a Lockheed Jetstar for use in FS2002? I have the 737 lined up with the nose right on the runway centerline butin the cockpit view it is centered in the cockpit window. Has anyone done a PSS 744/Posky merge like the PIC/Posky? I tried the cfig file edit posted before but it didn't work for me.

When I open up the chat window I can view people chatting no problem but, the chat window text keep's scrolling back to the top. So how do I keep it from doing this it sure makes it hard to view what people are talking about. Dave

Besides a beautiful looking Dash 8-300. A lot of blurries, thats what! Tell me, does anyone else get blurries this bad? I'm getting really frustrated with this now! For some reason, FS2K2 will perform and look marvelously on a fresh install of Windows (XP Pro is what I use). But over time, FS performance starts to go downhill, and what you see in these pics is what I get! It seems that when I upgrade or downgrade my graphics driver, it just gets worst. Is there a way to make the textures look as sharp as they do on a fresh install without having to reinstall my OS? hi all i upgraded my computer to a AMD 2100+ with 512 meg of 2700 DDR mem and a Geforce 4 128 meg 4200 card, i have the 30 something driversinstalled, at the runway i was getting good frame rates with the PSS panel and a 747 meljet singapore plane,however when i was coming into land into KLAX and i used fly by view, i got TERRIBLE stuttersit was bad as my Geforce 2 MX 64 meg card.Also when i go in external view and see the plane from the outside inflight, the writing on the plane like the "singapore airlines" is all blur.Also when i click on Enable Anti Alasing and go in full screen mode and then click the ALT key to get my menus on top of the screen, FS2002 freezes, i ca…

Hi all,To cut a long story short I've just suffered a major system crash that means I'm going to have to format and reinstall FS and all of my extra scenery, aircraft etc. So I decided that while this was down I would upgrade a few things now rather than later and also go up to XP.Really all I want to know is if anyone can give me any tips or information I might need to know when running FS with XP and if there are any problems with installing any sceneries that run a DOS file, I'm thinking mainly of Gary Summon's UK2000 scenery, also is it possible to run scasm in XP as I understand that it no longer supports DOS, although I may have gotten this wrong.Many thanks in adva…

I have downloaded the Falcon (fa50c2) aircraft for FS2002, andthere seems to be alittle trouble to close the door.I press shift E (1,2,3,4) and get a message that the door isclosing but when I look at the plane from outside I can stillsee an open door. A bug? Once after a start it was closed I don'tunderstand why that time.

Severely disliking the wrapper i've resisted for all this time to buy anything using it and always waited patiently for CD versions.But..i couldn't resist this one anymore..i went to the darkside...resist it i could not.Anyways, for those still in doubt about buying this one, don't doubt and just get it. It truely is as amazing as those who bought it earlier stated.The only downside i could find with it is the hard to read and rather ugly fonts in the garmin 530..wish they could do something about that cause it somewhat degrades the rest of the razorsharp instruments.Otherwise...one can't but hope more quality stuff like this will find it's way to us.
