I can't seem to make a manual plan no matter what i try. i always comes up at the top in the distance box as 6,800 some odd mi. and want to make manual plans for on line flying instead of auto generate,and as far as buying fs nav or what ever i'm not cause i spent too much money buying programs for fs2000 that didn't work on fs2002.And when i make manual plans and check off the sq. box and fs2000 box they don't send it properly when i pick my plan to send it to atc. I'm very frusrated with this----thanks --Louis

I was wondering if somebody knows if it exist au good 172 panel where we can find an effective "carb heat" knob ? I tried any default cessna and I found no carb heat knob for all the cessnas, I can't beleave it ! Is it possible a thing as basic as possible were not implemented in fs2k2 ? Most 172 in school in Canada airport have carb heat... We are a new group of 20 students and we wish to use fs2k2 in complement to our cours.

Just a quick suggestion about the upcoming Century of Flight.If microsoft just have a look at what TRI did with the Fly series in terms of fluidity I would be such a happy guy. I feel that one of the most important parts of the flight sim should be the fluidity in game play. I'm not really talking about frame rates but more the sense of movement while in flight.I would welcome any other thoughts on this issue?I'm real glad to see we are going to be getting some great clouds!Steve.

Hello....Having flowen the Meridian for a few days I have become quite attached to it! Fantastic plane.I have been using the built in Garmin controls which are great. None of the european airports seem to have approach data etc so I cannot configure them properly. Please can someone tell me if I am doing something stuipdly wrong, or if I need to download some data from somewhere. I have looked on flight1 etc, but cannot find any information.Thanks

There are some really good 737-200/300 panels that I've found but the autopilot numbers and the hsi move in incriments of 10. Could someone point me in the correct direction as to where I might find a good panel.

John Rogers releases the 757-300 and the 757-200. Both models have Pratt & Whitney AND Rolls Royce engines. The 757-200 supports the use of light maps or night maps depending on the user's preference. The use of night maps enables the aircraft to have its surfaces lit at all times during the night, even when it is not taxiing or flying which should add a little colour to airports at night time. I am new owner of Flight1 Cessna 421. I love it, but am having problem with liveries. I have downloaded 3 templates I would like to use. All three will install using Text-o-Matic, but only two of the three will work at once with the original livery. If I try to add a 4th livery, one of the previous ones I created goes blank. When I look in the .cfg file the entry is there but the referenced texture file has been deleted. This happened several times with different combinations. And yes I am assigning a unique number to each that should become the part of the texture file name. Is this intentional limitation of Text-o-Matic (that you can have only 3 liveries active a…

The default ATC in FS2002 takes over and vectors you in for a landing at the destination airport on flights created with MSFS Flight Planner. Is there any way to set the distance from the destination airport that this happens. Currently, the ATC seems to take over about 50 miles out from the airport. I'm trying my best to figure out the myriad of functions that the weather system here in FS2002 has. I want to have a full-overcast sky that doesn't have the 'horizon line' that's seen in the picture below, and doesn't turn into a complete white-out after I'm above 200 ft. I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but a quick glance at the pictures on the box show a plane flying during a thunderstorm with fairly distant visibility.Any help is always appreciated.Scott
