Just installed FS2K2 for the first time. In the process I must have configured some aspect incorrectly. I get an error during start up "Cannot find the requested flight. The default flight will now try to load." Loading continues successfully.How do I fix this?Terry

Hi,I've seen on many screenshots that aircraft shadow is actually a "halfshadow" - you can see a runway under the shadow.On my system the shadows are totaly black and hide the runway completely.I have a Radeon 8500 Videocard and all settings in FS are "High"/"On".Any ideas?

I have the PSS Dash 8, but I have also been looking at Oleksiy Frolov's Dash 8. i got the sound sample and they were amazing (or was it a real plane?). How do the sounds compare to those of PSS (the PSS sounds seem to be lacking something if you ask me), and what about the model and panel (and where can i get more images of the panel)?thanks,

I was just curious if anyone would be up to making a fictional repaint. Iam not a artist at all so that's why I have the request in mind. My fictional repaint idea was a American A320. I know American does not fly them but I always though that it would be a nice plane :) . Paul G's great 707 panel has superb lighting but you need to re-size the panel to use different lighting switches. I wonder if anybody ever found a fix for this--or whether Paul G fixed it himself....?JS

....As related to helping us benchmark our machines to improve FS performance.FS2k2 is highly CPU dependant (AA and AF aside) and as at least with 3Dmark01 the CPU made about as much differance as the video card and you could use it to "fine tune" etc.Well 3Dmark03 has moved heavily towards the video card, take a gander:http://www.gamepc.com/labs/view_content.as...=axp3000&page=7As has been stated if you want a true benchmark of your machine as to how it wil run your favorite game....benchmark it using you favorite game. :-roll :-lol

I recently purchased the VFR Photographic Scenery, for Central and southern England and must say how Impresed I was. I actualy flew over my old house I lived in in High Wycombe (Buckinghamshire)! :-), to tell the truth I could not see the actual house I lived in but there was a large factory directly behind our old house and I could see this in the Scenery. Then about 9 years ago I moved to Banbury(Oxforshire) (for no reason exept I was following the rest of the family). I have and get alot of great use out of my CH Products USB Yoke and Pro Pedals but, I want to get a stick that is more for helo's or fighter jets. Also possibly a seperate throttle as well. The yoke is great for most birds but when you get into a chopper or the Siai-Marchetti SF.260 I would prefer a single stick. What do you guys recommend?

I am looking forward to Microsoft's FS9(COF), as I have been for everything since FS3.0.But I fear I will be bored by Christmas 2003, as I suspect I would have tried all the aircraft in as many difficult situations as I could set up.Since this software is really intended for the persons who have never flown in the real world (I mean, for $75-USD, what do you expect?), we all know there will always be some less-than-real features.Don't get me wrong, Microsoft has done remarkably well in putting this package together and making it fun to tinker with.But, now I'm ready to swipe my credit card to the tune of $500-USD if MS were to offer a Flight Sim that brushes reality a lit…
