Hi All,Lately I have started to become interested in tweaking my graphics for FS2002. I have a GF4 TI 4200, 128Mb which works fine. A couple of days ago I returned from the 4109 Nvidia Drivers to 2942. This because of performance when benchmarking.However, in both versions I very often see my runway lines and runways self flickering fast and switching from runway to ground (grass/brick). Is this what you call blurry? I am dutch so maybe it is the language that I do not understand so well. If this is called blurry, than I know I can find more solutions inside the forums. Last year I ran into a thread that gave information on how to increase sound level of your AI aircraft. My system crashed and I had to rebuild, does any one have any idea how to do this?

Hi all! As an introduction to my issue I present to you my system: WindowsXP Pro SP1, all patches/updates, DX9.1, nVidia 2.03 driverset for nForce2 chipset including onboard sound, ATI Catalyst 3.1 drivers for my ATI 9500Pro, latest BIOS 1002 fom Asus for the A7N8X and an Athlon XP 2600+/333. I am not overclocking anything. Onboard 3Com networkcard disabled, onboard nVidia networkcard enabled. Very often I notice a sound disturbance, espcially when switching back to FS2002 from an external addon program (AcitveSky wxRE). In fact is does not sound like a disturbance. It is more like all volume sliders are set to max until FS2002 is 'fully active' again. This is quite annoy…

Does anyone know where I might find an approach plate and updated airport diagram for the new runway and renumbered runways at Schipol? I've been an avid flt sim enthusiest for a long time.I have every flightsim that has come out on the market. Like everyone else I have been constantly trying to keep my computer up with the growth of new sims and third party addons. I was going through and cleaning up what loads when I log on, trying to get the system to do as little as possible when it loads so its screaming fast, going through all of these items I found one called "cftmon.exe" go to the directory that it is in, C:>Windows>System32>cftmon.exe, I disabled from loading and so far I have not noticed any problems, but I would like to know what it does, does anyone know??

I've been studying the new screens of FS09 (as you do when they start posting screen shots of the next best thing). While studying these shots I noticed this imagehttp://www.gameinfowire.com/image.asp?iid=...=553&pg=5&pid=6If you look at the ground, its in shade, as it should when there is cloud cover, apart from the area to the left of the glider, which shows peaks in sunlight (or what appears to be). Does this mean that FS09 is able to cast cloud shadow or is it just my imagination (I have quite a good imagination). If it is what it looks like them WOW, if not ah well.

Dear all,I need help with some issues that might relate to hardware problems. My FS2002 seemed to crash more often for the last few days. I used several flightplans created by MRAI and used FSPainter planes for most of my AI planes. I have AthlonXP 2600, MSI K333 Ultra ARU mobo, 512 Mb DDR2700 CL2.5, MSI GF4 Ti4600. When I flew with an aircraft, FS2002 often crash (i.e. the computer screen goes totaly black with little bit horizontal line on top of the screen, or the frame just freezes) when I changed the view (e.g. from Cockpit to Spot View). Some said that this probably related to inadequate power supply. However, I have 350Watt power supply. Can anybody give me …

I really expected TrackIR to be very cool with the interactive VC in PIC Airbus. It's pretty cool looking around the cockpit and kind of neat to be able to click on buttons with the mouse without switching back to the 2D view. However, from a practical perspective, it actually doesn't work that well. Dials are almost impossible. You can click on them but you have to be able to hold your head absolutely still while you do so, otherwise the cursor moves off the knob. Perhaps it will be better with mouse-look because you can just center the mouse on it. I hope MS finds a good solution for this in FS ACF.David

has anyone else seen this in the VC view and know how to correct it?

It seems I'm getting torque issues when (takeoff and landing)flying jets. I thought someone had posted a fix about this but I've searched "yaw" "swinging left" , etc and can't find it. Anyone know what this was? I think it was adding a line to the .cfg file.

Don't worry, I'm not actually asking the question as such, I'm just thinking out aloud. If you look at the 2D panel of the FS9 Piper Cub, you can see a sim icon third from the right. It looks like a thunderbolt. I am quite curious as to what it might be? My guess is that it might access a screen that controls the new weather scenario functionality.

Not the first time I have suffered this. Flew from London Heathrow to Edinburgh yesterday and was climbing to FL260 as filed. After being handed off from one ATC centre I waited until I was near cruise altitude before contacting the next. Did it too early and got constant "Please expidite your climb to FL260" until eventually the plan was cancelled.So, I reset everything and tried again. This time, I increased the VS a little bit so I'd reach cruise a bit quicker which was successful. I'm wondering what's missing in FS2002 to prevent it from being the software for a PCATD ?I'm looking for the FAA docs, when I find them, I'll be curious to see what if anything is obviously "out of spec".Apparently xplane is now approved. I have Xp 6.50 and haven't noticed obvious differences between it and MSFS 2002 when flying say a C172.My curiosity stems in part from a discussion online with a CFI who claimed that MSFS was "lacking in realism". Hello all. I am really trying hard to regain my trust in Wilco's products. I really thought that FSNAT and Airport 2k2 was a fluke. Now I am hearing a lot of flak about the new A320 just released by Wilco. Hi all, I just installed Norton Antivirus 2003 on my system. However, I have noticed a substantial drop in my FS2002 performance. Periodically, the game freezes for a few seconds and the framerates have also decreased. I uninstalled the software temporarily and the performance of FS2002 returned to normal. After I reinstalled the program, I temporarily disabled auto-protect and the performance of FS2002 increased slightly ( there were still periodic freezes from time to time. If any of you guys are familiar with this program, can you give me any advice on how to configure my settings to avoid comprising the performance of FS2002?ThanksJ.C. ( MYNN )
