212 nm's from LIT enroute to KDFW. I have finally settled down to stable air at FL320.If C.A.T. is NOT modeled into this flight sim...then you would NEVER KNOW IT!This flight was anything but otherwise, today. I'm about one hour inbound to KDFW, and for most of the route, it was the barf bag supreme.That seaboard blizzard and flood out of most of the East Coast today had much to do with it, I'd imagine.Other then for the first 50 nm's out from CYYZ, it has been overcast all the way to 212 nm's inbound to LIT.Well, back to a great flight and a puff onto the numbers! :)Mitch R.

If there is someone thinking about changing their process( i.e from pentium to Amd and vice verse), which means that you also have to change your mobo, I have sad news to inform you!!There is no chance to change this without a new installation on your Windows O/S at least on XP Pro and XP home.I have tried this over and over again but always failed when trying to repair the old installation.I recently was told by a programmer at microsoft that it could happens that you succeed but the risk it that you got a lot of "blue screens". I just got back to my flight, and into it about four minutes, when I heard A.T.C. call to American Pacific that they were---get this---2,900 ft BELOW their assigned altitude. For THAT much...they dropped like a stone as well as I had...by hitting the same C.A.T. that I am getting pounded with over Indy.....:)....so...FS2002 is so accurate that even AI aircraft react to non-virtual input from FSMETEO in a 'real' way. I use FSMeteo to generate my weather and I have noticed just recently the winds at the airports are not the same that FSMeteo says they are. Since I use this information to make my flight plan in FSNavigator it is important that I get the runway info right. The past two flights I have been on final and asked for landing and they state that the runway in use is the opposite of the one I believe it should be using the information gathered from FSMeteo. As you can see it can cause quite a headache. The funny thing is that the display in FS2002 (Control "Z") displays the wind correctly, but when I tune in the AITS the wind is different (This is on the ground mind you). Should…

Here's the scenario:Locate yourself at Las Vegas Maccarran, during the day...Load any one of these aircraft into FS:Jon Murchison's BAE-146Brian Gladden's Cessna 140Rey Lopez's Cessna 310Then fly towards the strip...Using this scenario, my fps would fall to 4 fps (out of a normal 20-25) as soon as the Monte Carlo came into view. Moreover, the fps would stay "stuck" at 4 fps regardless of my switching back to a GMAX aircraft--only solution was to restart FS2002.I wondered what was different with Vegas....then I remembered the effects--the fireworks and the fountains, as an example. So I renamed all the fx bgl's in the Vegas folder, and started FS again. No more FSDS 2/4…

hI ALL i JUST WANT to know what the differences are (if any) between the AFCAD.exe program and the AFInstaller.exe program do they both do the same things but just in different ways?

Does anyone else have the problem of coming in a nose low configuration? If I trim the nose up, it is very sensitive and goes the exact opposite direction and stalls. I can land any other airplane out there except this one, so I'm sure I'm forgetting one stupid thing to set the elevator trim (on the pilots panel right?).

Has anyone found a panel and/or a gauge with a fuel gauge that properly shows the total fuel (or fuel for each tank) for airplanes such as Posky's 742? The plane has 6 total fuel tanks. I am looking for anything which shows the total fuel load preferably in gallons or pounds. I am looking for something for a classic panel without a full glass cockpit. I fly using Lago's FS Maintenance, and when running that program, you are not allowed to open up the fuel window under the aircraft menu. So I have no way of telling how much fuel is onboard once the flight starts. The only gauges I have found only work for 5 digits and doesn't show properly above 99,999. Thanks,

Many many thanks to all the talented computer buffs out there...my water effects are now back!The graphic card I had recently installed (WinFast A170 DDR T Geforce4 MX440-SE) was not supported or recognised by FS2002 and the reflections on the ocean was not enabled plus I had the BSOD on frequent occasions.I downloaded the fix gf4mxdsp.zip but this did not solve the problem...but came close. Hello, I installed Paul Golding md 80 panel (which was an exe. file) and i seem to have lost my gps gauge. When i boot up fs2k it give me the msg " 3rd party software not supported, gps.gauge" Well none of the other planes have gps anymore, just a blank window.
