Hey Guys, This is a two or so month old problem ive had with the CH Yoke and MS Sidewinder Precision Pro, but I just suddenly got tired of it. Ok heres the problem: I have both the CH Yoke and MS Sidewinder Precision Pro plugged into my computer. All of the time, if I decide to use the joystick, everything works except the ailerons controls, what happens is, when I push or pull the joystick fowards and backwards, the aircraft will do so for a moment, and then go into a dive, or pull all the way up- or sometimes just return back to level flight. With the Yoke, this works 100% of the time, no problems here- but Im thinking that there is maybe some confusion in the compute…

HehProbably a dumb question butUsing Garys UK2000 100AI for eg. I get nice 21 fps anywhere around London but as soon as I look at the airport whammo down to 3-5 fps. Now it is the AI but why does this happen even from a fair distance/long distance away??; merely pointing aircraft towards the airport has this effect surely this must be something wrong in FS programming. Its a shame , of course smooth as silk with AI turned down or off. Does FS load the polygons for all the planes ?Sun

hi!I've just purchased a new system that i built myself,i was expecting a dreadful change in fs2k2 but.....nothing or i shall say so little!I've built an amd 2700 based on asus nv8x(deluxe) motherboard with 1024 meg of ddr3200 ram feeding an ati radeon 9700 pro videocard.I ve also installed the latest drivers directx9 and so forth....I have a lot of sceneries installed butit was there before.....I have locked my framerate to 22 fps and on some sceneries like uk2000 i'm getting something like 5fps wich is is exactly what i was getting before with my amd 1800 msi kt266 mb and 512 meg of 2100 ddrsurrounded by a ge-force2 gts videocard.Something must be wrong there and even a…

Hi all .. Last night I got to go to flight safety and fly in the full motion , completely accurate cockpit dc 9 ... Trust me, if you ever get the chance ...do it! It was so real , I got dizzy a couple times ...but the good news is ... with all the fs2002 flying ..I was able to take off , fly the pattern and make a nearly perfect ILS approach and landing ... the instructor said that if you can fly and land the sim, you can definately do the real thing ... so, naturally , i've been patting myself on the back! I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out if i'm aloud to in this forum!

Hi all. Just prchased world airports and now I wan't to create an overlay for KLAX. However I don't really know how to do that. Yes I read the instructions in AITM but I'm not sure how to load a flightplan. What flightplan is this?. Secondly it says to choose the aircraft I wan't to use. What is this? Please if someone could give me an example I would be a happy man. Thanx Felix.

I have been having problems with the throttles on twin engine planes in that when I shut the engines and restart the 2 engine's throttles are not linked via the throttle on the joystick. the engines are running but they are not locked. Is there a keyboard comand or other type command that will link these 2 togetherThanks

I was sitting around doing nothing a few minutes ago, when something occurred to me...Why aren't there any Airbus aircraft included in Microsoft Flight Simulator?? I understand that Boeing is currently the largest aircraft manufacturer/supplier, but Airbus is really giving them a run for their money. I just think that it would have been nice to see how Airbus aircraft would have been modeled by Microsoft. ---Just a thought--- :-newbie :-hah

I notice that when I duck into clouds or overcast, my airspeed indicator stops working, and the dial falls back to zero.I dont remember if this was an old problem that was corrected long ago.Does anyone remember the fix for it??Thanks,Mouse

hello, I'm considering to buy the DC-9 from flight1 but I can't find there is a reveiw anywhere on the net. What do you guys think of this product in term of the overall quallity and maybe compair to the CS727. Anyway I've never use any of these 2 product. I like to know about the panel complexity realism and sound, also the flauldity of gameplay.

Did a default install. Upon reboot, A/C reports no 2d panel. No throttle. No fun.I've purchased about 100+ add-ons for FS200X and I've never had this problem. Should not be this hard.The jury is out.bt

The recent issue of Flying magazine just came out, and Lane Wallace has an interesting article comparing flight simming to the real deal. Even though she is involved with FS9 (I can't remember off hand, but I think that she is involved with the historical aircraft that are being included with FS9) she kind of down plays flight simming as interesting, but lacking in many areas. Overall it's an interesting read if you get the mag.Tim13

I've become interested in flying places other than the east coast of the US. I found the nice freeware Hawaii airports here in the library, and noticed at PHTO, there's a cliff about 3-4 miles off the departure end of a runway (can't remember the number), but its got the water running up the side of the cliff. So I set in search of mesh terrain to fix this, and found the Maxx and Sotomayor. I tried to follow the instructons of extracting the files to addon scenery/scenery, but that folder didn't exist for me. Using default everything and AFCAD version 1.3 you now can get the runway you want. Just in case this hasn't been covered or people like me who hate to have to redo and add layers, scenery and what not with AFCAD version 1.3 you know can do it very simple. Prior to the flight findout what the weather will be like for your departure and arrival airports then determine what runway you would like to have open for landing and what runway you want open for take-offs. Hi All,The FSScene has a discount now for their packages. I already use FSLandclass together with NL-2000 for my Dutch flights. Is it worthwhile to buy FSScene as well? Or would FSClandclass be sufficient. OK, well, not totally, but I went from 512 RDRAM on a 2.53Ghz P4 to 1024 RDRAM recently and I honestly see no diff at all. Performance was good before, I was just curious as to whether 1024 would send me to heaven. Alas, no.At KJFK with default scenery and EXTREMELY DENSE scenery and autogen, etc., clear skies, 60% ATC, FSAA 2x, high monitor res, I get an average of 15 fps sitting on 31L in a MelJet 777 with PSS cockpit, and about 17 fps in most other big iron (POSKY, PSS, etc.). It's OK, but not amazing. In the air, after liftoff, I get 20 to 24 (my cap) quickly. But I got that with 512 RDRAM and get the same with 1024 RDRAM. Nothing loads faster with the extra RAM…
