Hoping you might have some comments on the appearance of "popcorn" like cumulus clouds in the latest P3dV2.5? I'm not accusing Opus of anything but I am seeing this with P3D+Rex Texture Direct + OpusFSI and would appreciate your opinion on the possible cause. Hi, I'm currently flying in Iran; simulating some nice MD-80 flights out of Kish Island, for Kish Air (there's a great photoscenery package for the Island and airport in the AVSIM File Library). I use FTX Global and Vector, and it's looking pretty good....... however, while browsing my addon installer folders I noticed that I bought F1 GEX Africa & Middle East a couple of years ago, but have never really used it. I'm just looking for any opinions on whether it's installing GEX Africa & Middle East, with me laready have FTX Global+Vector, or whether FTXG+V is actually a better rendition ? Thanks

Bonjour, My computer has 2 W7 X64 bootable disks. One disk is for FSX and the other for FSXSE. I tried to copy the "opus software" folder with the .lic and .key files from FSX disk to FSXSE disk... But it is not working, and i am in demo mode. So I think I have to restart from the flight1 wrapper, but I am not sure that it will not invalidate my FSX license, even if it is the same PC and that FSX and FSXSE will never run at the same time. This topic is a big thanks to sheryl and stephen for their great work on opusfsi. i have been away since a few months and the last version i installed on my computer was 4.10 and today i installed the last version and i was amazed of the clouds depiction and clouds layers.It's truly amazing.( i have tried Active sky next and fsgrw and none equals opus fsi). i have a little request: in active sky next there is an option to hide the aircraft when entring in the clouds, is it possible to implement this option in opus? apart from that every thing looks good so far. thanks for this master piece guys

Bonjour, Each time I launch FSXSE with a parameter, such as the .FLT situation file, Steam ask me if I want to launch it with the parameter (.FLT file) in the command line. Is there a way to bypass this dialog. Merci Best regards Claude

I buy the Aerosim 787 and like other planes try to use the hardware i have... M-Panel from VRInsight, Multipanel from Saitek and GF-RP48 from Go Flight. Happen i can't change the altitude in the MCP, but it change in the PFD. Is this plane compatible with any Hardware? Thanks for the help Alexandre

I have a lot of add ons in my SSD Drive and was wondering if I could transfer some of those add ons into my external hard drive ? Do I need to UN-install then install into my external drive ? What kind of add ons and how could I transfer if possible ? Thanks.

Hi All, So after bugging everyone on here as to which Small Commercial Plane to buy I ended up opting for the BAE146/Avro Series. Spent the first Hour or so trying to find one with Airstairs as my main Home Hub is Bristol EGGD which has no Jetways (Well it didn't until I installed UK2000 Bristol LOL). Wanted the RJ70 but opted for the QW Livery RJ85 as it had the required Airstairs. Flew my first flight Blind without reading any instructions and although it was messy I did manage to Takeoff-Cruise and Land without killing too many passengers. A new scenery team Celestial Team has just released ZSSH for FSX. Been slowly upgrading my base game and spending lots of time learning aspects of the game and reading lots of stuff on the forums. So Far I have found a plane I really like in my AVRO RJ85, the more I fly it the more I like it. I have decided to have a single Base Airport for my flights and currently fly to 46 UK destinations with my made up virtual airline, from and to Bristol. Hi all I have amazed myself ,What with the help of AVSIM members I have recalled most of my past knowlage of Microsoft Flight Simulator but the part of my brain that lets me lern new ways is out of reach. I can fly the small planes useing Microsoft flight planners on ILS and free flight following.But my downloaded focker as got me beat. I can not Set it up for use on my PC it is loaded into FSX airplanes and can load it in Current Aircraft But no way can I understand how to set it up for a flight.Load the diferent windows in the cabin. Has anyone figured out how to add the FSX Freedom Tower scenery to Aerosoft's Manhattan X? If I move the Addon Scenery folder above the Manhattan X Scenery Area in the Scenery Library, the Tower displays, as does the incomplete Aerosoft tower, a couple of blocks away. Is there a file in the Aerosoft directory which I could delete which would remove the incomplete Tower? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jeff from Brooklyn

Very nice though the Aerosoft Airbus is, I'm finding it a little frustrating tuning the auto throttle speed and heading bug. Both are tied solely to the mouse wheel operation. Problem is if one needs to set heading bug from say 360 degrees to 180 degrees it takes ages because there is no scroll wheel acceleration. Similar with the a/t speed setting. It takes endless wheel scrolls to just go from the default 100 knots to say 250 knots. PMDG intelligently apply an accelerator function so the more vigorously you scroll the greater the increments. Works very well. This doesn't appear to be possible on the Airbus, according to the Aerosoft forums. Does anyone have any …

I fly my Avro RJ85 in and out of Bristol all the time, but ground services always gives me gate 32 when I land which is out the way. Can I get it them to give me a better gate like the same ones the other jets get with a Jetway?

Since I couldn't set up my favourite A2A planes for random (and complete) engine failure, I wanted to make some addon for this, so I could improve my readiness and practise emergency procedure. If you're a pilot, you are never sure how prepared you are for this in a real life. This weekend I bought the Cessna Citation X2.0 and I did something that I don't remember when was the last time I did this. I flew from KLAS to KLAX all in manual. I couldn't figure all of the FMS/MCDU so I just said "F*ck it", I will fly the old fashion way. Thanks to EFB, I was to follow a specific route and flew it home without an hitch. Landing perfectly on my runway. I love tube airliner but this was a nice change of pace. I might have to do this again. note : I had the FMS all program but I couldn't figure out RNAV. I have more reading to do.

I am running out of disc space on my primary C: SSD I noticed the Flight 1 Ulitmate Traffice is taking around 10Gigs and sitting in Roaming=Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic 2 folder. How do I move this out to another drive? Does Reinstalling UT 2 to another drive help? Since this is Romaing\data files I am not sure that would do it. Any ideas?

I went to the FS Genesis store looking for mesh primarily for the US but might also be interested in all of North America. Their pricing has me totally befuddled. Would someone let me know if the underlying mesh in the following products is somehow different? Canada 19m resolution - $30 All of North America 19m resolution - $25 World - 19m resolution - $20 It doesn't make sense to me that the larger the area you buy the less you pay.

I am looking for a guage or independent app into which I can enter 1) desired track, 2) wind direction and 3) wind speed and have it return the heading to be flown.

Before I go on support forums to "complain", I just want to check with you guys with issues in FSGRW and OpusFSX and make sure that maybe these are isolated incidents on my machine. I have very annoying problems with FSGRW, especially on non-local flights. When I'm flying around some airport for some pattern flight or practising touch and go stuff, both apps performs good, no anomalies. But when flying non-local flights where a lot of met stations will change, both apps start to behave strange and very incosistent.
