I was recently applying some tweaks with Nvidia inspector, and fsx.cfg (Affinity mask 14, 84, 256) and my game got into this weird crazy thing where it used the CPU to about 90% but yet still only acomplishing 10-15 FPS.(Im not high in VAS either, still hovering around the 2k mark in VAS) Now this is in SunSkyJet's KPHL with scaled back settings, and I'm running a mid range system (i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz, GTX 680mx, 8GB ram, 64bit windows 7) I just don't understand how I'm getting such poor FPS. I just purchased the Lionheart Lear Jet today and loaded it per the instructions , including rebooting the computer. I am missing a wing, tip tank and engine covers. I am running P3D v 2.5, on an i7 2.8 gig, 8 gig ram, nvidia 650 Ti boost with the latest drivers. I have Direct X 11, and no problems with any other plane. I tried a re-install with no luck. Any ideas?

Third party Weather with Wideview has always been hit and miss for me performance wise. I have ASE, REX, and OpusFSX, and all of them are great programs in their own right! But it was FS Global Real Weather that would make the difference for me. Wideview, in my experience, was smooth as long as I used FSX weather. This is what Wideview was originally designed for. As soon as I tried to run it with any third party weather engine, the problems started. I tried running it with Active Sky Evolution, Real Environment Extreme and FS Global Real Weather. Hi, I wanted to know if the iFly 747-400 v2 FMC can import flight plans created in the default FSX planner. I always create my flight plans in FSX so that I can fly with the FSX ATC. I don't mind setting up the FMC in terms of the pre-flight setup and landing but I don't like entering the actual route entries. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. F.

Hello! I hope I am asking this question on the correct forum... Before flying as a Captain, I would like to practice as First Officer in FSX (using a PMDG add-on like 737, 777 etc.). So I would like to have an add-on that actually flies the plane from gate to gate and gives me (the First Officer) commands like "set flight level X", "gear up", responds to checklist items that I specify etc. I have been unsuccessful so far in finding something like that. Does anyone know of such an add-on for FSX? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I've unfortunately had an issue with OPUS FSI now only showing up in demonstration Mode. I have a purchased license from Flight1. Those files are in the OPUS folder. After I start P3D 2.5, I start the OPUS FSI server client from a shortcut on my desktop. It was working since I purchased this product last month, but now instead of showing as a Green Unlimited Operation mode, it's Red and says Demonstration Mode. I'm trying to re-install my EZDOC Camera. I went to the EZDOC Website to get the 1.7 download. I put it in my (E) Drive where FSX is , un zip it , open it and then the Wizard tells me It can't be downloaded because a file is missing. I use Window 7.

There is such a sim called X-Plane which: 1) indeed incorporates a totally different and fairly modern engine 2) already makes use of your GPU and welcomes an upgrade 3) adding to #2, has no problem with using 4+ GB of your precious RAM since it's on 64bits for months now, stable 4) won't spoil the fun with 'commercial' limitations of any kind since this is a sim being offered for entertainment purposes in the first place, leading to a lets call it civil pricing and future I cannot say that it's bug free or that it offers the plethora of addons having arisen …

Hello A desperate call out to anyone who flies the Flight 1 Cessna Mustang. I have posted this on their forum, but sadly without response. I purchased the Flight 1 Cessna Mustang, installed it on my FSX SP2 Win7 system, loaded the default FSX Trike flight at Friday Harbor with engine off, using the Alt>Aircraft dropdown, switched to the Mustang (which loads the Mustang at Friday Harbor with the battery and avionics on) and attempted to start the engines. Coming back to FSX. Im going to take a trip from Costa Rica MRPV to Bocas del toro, then to Marcos gelabert, then to Contadora island, then San Blas , then David, this December in my Cessna 182. So I was looking for the best nesh and scenery for Panama, so far have found Bocas, and david airport but no mesh or global scenery. It is amazing to fly it a simulator and then when you do it in real , you feel you are familiar with the area and makes it a lot easier. This flight is going to be mostly VFR. Just saw this advertised for $19 bucks. It transforms all of your default airports but does not touch add on's. The screenshots look great. Just wondering if anyone had this if they could give a quick review. Many thanks John

Right now I'm using the PMDG 737ngx and no matter what I do to my settings I get very low FPS (mainly because of clouds I think) but even taking the clouds setting to its lowest, when the weather is overcast, FSX really lags for me. I need to know what I really need to change on my computer to enable me to run FSX smoothly. So here are my stats: AMD A10-6700 APU 6.00GB RAM 64bit 3.70GHz If you have any suggestions please share. Hey folks, I mainly use Overland/SMS models. I keep my FSX rather simple.... I only use AFCADs (as long as available) with default airports and try to get enhancements that keep it global (I wouldn't use Ultimate Terrain e.g., because it's just locally). This way I can fly where and with what I want without anything standing out because of a huge quality gap (imagine a flight from flytampa KSFO to default KABQ or flying with a PMDG 737 and the next flight with a PAD CRJ-200). Aircraft in the level of Overland blends in quite well with this setup and VirtualCol complements Overlands fleet on the regional side quite good as far as I could tell. I'd like to add that Vir…

Just a quick couple of questions. First question, I have cloud density set to Maximum, I believe this is incorrect as per reading a few threads. I will turn this off to none, as it's my understanding that will stop FSX from injecting weather into the system when I want OPUSfsi doing it. I will try this tonight when I get home. So previously I was running it set to maximum, and have OPUS run the weather system. With this set to none, and opus running the weather system will that help with frames at all? I assume once I setup a client/server setup and have weather and cams update from a client, this will help me even more. My other question is this, I've setup…

Hello, I hope someone can tell me if this is normal with FSX? The sim has been running for about 10 minutes now, simply sitting on the runway in a VC of a default C172. This is a clean FSX:SE installation, absolutely no addons. Is it normal that the sim loads something, even if I am not moving? I checked with the Procmon, and it seems to be loading some scenery files. But over and over again. FSX-feature?

i see that Ksan is available through latinvr. Is this pretty much our only option for San Diego? Also is the sim market safe? Is it just like the flightsim store?

I would like to permanently change the default spot view position by moving it sideways. Anyone know how? I have changed the VC by altering the view section in the aircraft.cfg, but I cannot find anything regarding the spot view. Thanks John

The middle mouse button doesn't allow me to zoom in ezdok, I can only zoom if I enable the zoom feature in the ezdok manager thing. I can still click and pan around but zooming seems to be the problem. Any solutions? Please...
