Hi all Well finaly back in the air with FSX Gold Sim set on DX9 and I have purchased my Focker100/70 from Flight one. Even though I used to fly project focker in FS2004 I have many things to recall into my gray matter before take off will be attemted. No problems with the Beech barren58 All ILS flights are working well and my site seeing free flights and manual landing are now back up to an accepable level. I am currenty useing Plan-C v3.11 for my moveing map, But with a slow to react brain these days I can get confused on my approch. Hi Simmers, I tried to install "My Traffic 2013" and after trying to set it I just gave up because it wouldn't work at all. Tried 2 times and no luck. When I uninstalled MyTraffic 2013' and loaded FSX again I realized that the normal traffic was also gone. There is no traffic planes in my simulation now. How do I get those files back? I'm sure they went with the other files when I removed My Traffic 2013. Please any help? I don't want to re-install FSX. Thank you in advance.

Just came over something called GS-105 motion simulator. On their Product page it says it supports FSX and that really picked my intrest. Anyone tried it? link: http://www.gekosystems.com/en/products/gs-105-motion-simulator/videos.html I want one but couldn't see any videos with it when using FSX only vids of racing sims so I would be intrested in how good it is when it comes to feel turbulence and stuff. Could add alot to the immersion if it works B)

Every flight I've done so far has resulted in 1 or both engines burning out during different stages of flight. Just wondering why this is happening.

Can anyone tell me what the recommendation is for a freeware 747 for FSX? I know POSKY had one but that was a while back. Has there been anything newer? Thanks!

I know that the FMC that comes with the Just Flight Hawker 800XP does not accept Navigraph data. Does anyone know if it will work with the NavDataPro utility available from Aerosoft? If not, are there other alternatives? Thank you.

Hello, Im having a little issue with my EZDOK camera and I dont know why. Suddenly my hot keys seem not working properly. Lets say I have a VC samera and a shortcut key. It switches views ok as long as IM in VC. But when Im looking at the plane from spot view and then press my hotkey, it doesnt bring me back to saved VC view. It was working before and now it doesnt :( Dunno why Any ideas?

Anyone else notice the prices for Flight Simulator X on Amazon after FSX: Steam Edition came out? Amazon.com FSX Search Up to $200 on some of them. Just the other week I think I remember them being at the normal $25 for a boxed copy. I had told my Father, who's just now getting into FSX, that he should get the Steam version now at $5 and the boxed version later. Unfortunately at the prices I'm seeing online now for FX, I don't think anyone should by a boxed copy. The Steam version has now become the only verion of FSX I can sanely recommend to anyone, based on price. If you want to spend $80 ~ $200 on a copy of FSX then you are serious enough to be looking at P…

i defently do love cranking up the AI traffic to 100 and using woai there are tons! But sometimes it takes forever to take off cuz of the line of planes. Do ya guys use AI aircraft?

Hello, I've installed and looked at the OpusFX product. Very good. If I'm being honest, I currently use EZDok, Rex Textures with ASN and am really happy with my FSX setup. I'm running it over a network, Plan-G, Aivlasoft Display. VPilot - all okay on client PC with FSX, Vpilot Proxy, Aivlasoft DataProvider all on the server PC. What I was looking to do is set up a view on the client PC using Opus. I got so far and it didn't work. The Live View Test seem to run okay - so both PCs were communicating, but nothing worked in tandem. I followed the guide as best I could. If I did get it working, would I see other traffic from Vatsim on the view? …

Okay, so I've installed GSX recently. It works for the first about 3-4 times I open my flight sim, but then it disappears from the menu bar. I've tried the no-antivirus install, but it doesn't make any difference. I also added some of the GSX files to my exclusion list. Any help?

A question for people, do you think FSX and Flight Simulation has gone by its best potential now? Yes don't get me wrong, it's a very fun and an immersing game when it all runs well and good, however, most of the time you are encountering problems and having to do research to find how to fix a problem etc. Furthermore, you have to spend thousands of £,€,$ to get a system that's can cope with the high demands of FSX which for probably a lot of people (unless your an enthusiast) is a lot of money! It looks very similar to what happen when scrolling up and down the website with Win7 basic themes, of course when running FSX win7 changes to basic themes but I don't know if both of these are related. Because my English isn't good so I don't know how to explain the problem. All I can tell is that it isn't smooth. My FSX is a fresh new one will Acceleration package, just installed it. I don't know how to mod or config the fsx.cfg, most settings in FSX are default. I'm brand new to this game, moved from Fs9. Is there a way to solve this? Thanks all!

Do other people have this, and has anyone found a solution? Sometimes, I double click my FSX icon, and it will eventually start to load, but the main black screen is behind all windows. If I click the program while loading from my taskbar all I get is the white loading box. It also moves very slowly (probably quadruple the loading time vs when it loads normally). I'm on a SSD (500GB 840 evo), trim is enabled etc with AHCI etc.... But I still get this from time to time. Its like FSX loses focus when I run the program sometimes.

Hello everyone, I know that this subject has been adresses hundreds of times but i still i cant find any way to eliminate stutters in fsx even if i have great fps. My fps are locked internally at 30 and i have 1/2 refresh rate vsync with Nvidia inspector. I tried a few teaks to get ridd of those nasty stutters but nothing really worked for me. I also know that each case is different, thats why i am linking here my specs and my cfg. If any body have an idea about how to eliminate or decrease the stutters i would be eternally greatful. Setting up the Majestic Q400. Cockpit views no problem. When setting up the aircraft views, the initial screen for the camera presents the entire earth meaning I have to zoom in forever (and actually run out of zoom capability). All other aircraft are fine. Anyone had this problem?

I know there are lots of flight planners that you can find out there that will let you put in 2 airports and tell you the distance, but I can't find one that meets what I would like. It probally does not exist but is there one where I can put in my Current Airport, then the Max number of miles I want to fly and it list the airports within that radius? Pref with ILS

Hi there Please instruct me incase I am doing something wrong but in flight my winds are always the same throughout the flight. Here's what I do; -Load up FSX at Departure point. -Load Opus up -Click on Weather and then ''Flight Plan Options'' -I copy and paste my route beginning with ICAO of Dep and ending in ICAO of arr airports. -Click OK and then enter in the Alternate and cruise altitude for the flight and then click on update weather. Hi Chris, Last night my purchase of UK lights was approved, and I downloaded, installed, and tested today. All I can say is that you have completely transformed FSX for me. Installation was a breeze, I had only a minor slowdown on my fairly midrange computer, but the difference in night flying just has to be seen. Unfortunately for me, I have not been able to fly for about seven years due to family, kids etc, so my FSX has to suffice. Today I flew a short UK flight from Lydd to Southend in a Cessna 337. Most of my scenery has recently become corrupted, even the default scenery. I would like some advice on how to resolve this in the easiest way. I have a lot of addon scenery also. Any suggestions appreciated. Ron

Hi Folks, Do any of you good people know, if I wish to return to using my FEX clouds once in a while do I have to uninstall REX soft Clouds completely? Or is it just a case of loading the FEX back in and this over writes the REX clouds. All the Best and Thanks
