I have a PIII 1 Gigahertz, 256MB ram (and not increasing, it stops Longbow from running!) and a Voodoo 5 5500 vid card (again, that stays). Games are run on Windows 98SE.How well will MS Flight Sim 2002 run on this machine? Thanks in advance, Dan

Hello I've seen on a website of a real ArcherII doing vertical loop, so I went try on the Dreamfleet ArcherII but I can not do it even how hard I try. From 2,000 feet I started with a full throttle shallow dive to reach 140 KIAS (at 150+ airframe start to break as I know) follow by a sharp pull up, till I reach vertical pitch then the stall horn sounded and nose dropping to the ground..... Can't go over the top and complete vertical loop or I did something wrong.

Look closely...Not only will you see the already mentioned power/telephone poles along the streets, but those with good eyes will probably make out HIGH TENSION power line towers along what appears to be a power line easement in the scenery.Holy details, batman! Here's the page...http://www.simflight.com/~reviews/FS2004_p...may26_01/fs_005 jpg(Add a *dot* before the jpg extension to see things properly)(Immediately to the left of the bend in the road appears to be tower #1, and further in the distance along the easement, near the border with desert/scrub looks like there may be another)

Hello. I want o change on of my favorite aircraft

Today I tried to do a flight from Las Vegas to Denver in the Project Airbus A320 (in America West livery) I set the altitude for 31,000 feet and the climb rate was set for 1,000. I had no fuel in the auxilery tanks, 70% full in the wing tanks, and 30% full in the center tank. Now at these setting I could not get the auto throttle to maintane my airspeed at cruise altitude (airspeed was set for .79) (It was fine during the desent)None of my other Project Airbus A320's do this. What could be causing this? How do I fix it?The panel Im using is one made by Miguel Angel Alvarez and Jorge Salas (file name is a320p11.zip)

Hi there, I have two questions regarding ATC for FS2004:1} Will ATC have the ability to vector you around bad weather when flying IFR as is done in real life?2} Will ATC direct you to an alternate airport in the event that severe or unfavourable conditions exist at your destination airport?ThanksJ.C. I would like recommendations from yous guys :-hah . I don't care about VC's but like the following:1) really good highly functional panel and sharp interior views.2) good visibility from main panel - a bit of a view out the side window in main panel view. Also, a panel that is not so high that you have to raise your seat a whole bunch.3) good airfile - a plane that trims out nicely specifically.4) autopilot (not absolutely necessary but preferred)5)GPS - I can live with the default one if a plane doesn't come with one. It works fine.6) decent exterior textures.I've been spying DF's Cardinal and it's tempting but I'm really looking for a 172.Hope I'm not being too demandin…

...I just looked at the comments from my last post :-) . I really didn't mean to stir things up. I will, however, confess that, at the time of that posting, I had indulged in a wee bit more of the Jack Daniels than is my usual allowance :-) . But be assured that I meant no ill will toward any payware developer. Nor do I believe they love the hobby less for charging for their efforts. As for selling my now unused payware, to paraphrase Sir Winston "never have so many bid so low for so much" - cheapskates indeed :-) . But, you're all too late. This afternoon I removed FS2002 from the system, boxed up every flightsim-related disk I could find and gave the whole lot to my gra…

hi guys, I have always had this problem in FS2002 and was wondering if it is just my computer or if I just have one of the settings wrong. When I zoom out from the aircraft it seems to become "broken up" or "not smooth textures"if you will. If there is anyway I can fix this little annoying issue any advice would really brighten and better enhance my flightsimming experience. Thanks alot and Fly safe, AA767300ER

Hi,I spend most of my time flying the VC, but (until FS2004) still need to access the 2D panel for switches and such. I've thus set up a button on my yoke as the "snap to panel" view control, using the view assignments menu. The problem is that the button seems to forget its assignment or something, it works only the first time I hit it and then does nothing until I restart FS2002. Not a problem with the button, as it acts like this on any button I assign the function to... very strange. Anyone have experience with this apparent bug? Thanks for any help,Joel

I am wondering if some addons currently being worked on for FS2002 will, in fact, now be released for FS2002 or will they be re-worked for FS2004.In particular, I am thinking of FSD's Pilatus Porter.David
