I think that there are to much A1 planes on the net, i hate to see constantly the same sort of repaints, it is a polution in the library, for example today there are again ton's of 737-200 A1 downloads, please where is this good for??. Just know where the limit is. I rather see more repaints of the by fare more detailed normal flyable planes.Best regards,

Hi fellows,does anybody know what are the coordinates of Rob's Barendregt pushback gauge for other aircrafts like 737,777 and whatever you've got that can be reasonbly used in this type of plane.

I need some advice on taking screen shots..... I know how to take them but I don't know how to make them smaller in size. Most of my shots average 3.75 megs each and I want to post a few but the sizes are to large. Any suggestions?Thanks,

Hi again, :)Just curious if anyone has the installed? I had a westjet FFX 737-200, and downloaded the new SWA NC textures here at avsim, it had the texture files and all, but no "segment" to add to the aircraft config file. Am I missing something here? When I just add the single file to the westjet file, I cannot get the other plane to so up in flight sim.Thanks for any help.Cory Klimko

Hi everyone,When I fly, I often get an error message when the "g2d.dll", the "g3d.dll" or the "terrain.dll" are put into play.I get these messages particularly in the French Alps 15 minutes after the take-off. Sometimes, I even get these messages once the FS2002 has loaded.What do these messages mean ? I just finished a flight into KBNA in a Mike Stone 727. We landed R31. Winds were 340 at 11. The autopilot maintained a steady crab angle of about 15 degrees. Screen shots here....http://sidneyschwartz.homestead.com/temp.html/The little white triangle on the glareshield marks the centerline of the panel...that's normally what I would line up with the centerline of the runway in a no-crosswind landing.Not being a pilot--much less a 727 pilot--I have no idea if this crab angle is realistic or excessive. I wouldn't think that an 11 knot crosswind at 30 degrees would have such a pronounced affect on a big ol' plane like that. Is that the way it really is?Sidney Schwartz [KPDX…

All of my AI traffic is gone! I guess, when you replace the default planes with actual aircraft, it gets excluded from the flightplan until you shuffle it using AITM. I shuffled it, and all of my AI traffic is gone, even my project AI traffic. It shows up on the timetable in AITM, but it is not actually there! Help!

I took a helicopter over nyc today and was amazed at how lacking the default scenery of fs2002 was. I have been searching for a scenery addon for the area but can't find one. The default scenery makes ellis island look completely deserted except for one round building. and the Empire state and Crysler buildings don't look like they should at all.I tried to download a scenery package called hud100.zip but it is apparently no longer on the server where I was trying to get it from.Can someone please suggest some good freeware scenery for NYC?

I have downloaded the winglet update, placed winglets_t.bmp to my 738's texture folder, edited aircraft.cfg with model = winglet and of course, the model.winglet folder to my 738 folder. When I entered the sim, the winglets showed up, but no texture on it.... I have tried to covert the bmp to DXT with DXTbmp, but still no texture on the winglet. Anything I still missing???

Hey Gang!I installed the FFX 737-800 update for the winglets version, posted here in the AVSIM library. This update includes an updated texture file for the wheels names MISC_T.bmp; I installed this texture update into each of my FFX 737-800 folders, but now all my wheels on the 737-800 appear blank - untextured. Im looking for some good sounds that sound very powerful and realisic... I have a good variety or aircraft so it doesnt matter what plane/engine type you have in mind, as long as its a prop aircraft. Thanks in advance.

jerrycwo4I'd like to give a BIG, special thanks to Chris Willis for all of the great work that he had made on his FS Sky World program and all of the time and effort he continues to give to people like me, who sometimes needs a little more help and understanding in figguring out problems. I know that he has to be pulling out his hair when he reads all of the " how do I do this and that" on this forum. He spends a lot of time and effort here. I can tell by his many enrties, trying to keep us informed. Your "cloud program" is one of the BIGGEST pluses in FS2002... Thanks for the effort and time that you give to the program.jerry :)

Hi, I just bought the Thrustmaster TopGun Afterburner Force Feed back. I can't for the life of me get the preset software to apply the changes to FS2002. Do I need to do something inside of FS 2002 to make this work? Thanks, Jim

Never had any problems before but I absolutely cannot get either the STONY RIVER BEND & OLD STONY or COGHILL LAKE sceneries ( both by James Belk) to work. Followed the instructions exactly but they can't be found when I load up FS2002. I have all the "extras too- trees v3 and Alaska mesh scenery. Obviously I am doing something wrong because too many folks are praising this scenery. Will someone explain the installation Step-By Step for this ignoramus? :(Thanking you in advance

As a total newcomer to FSims,can any one advise me on how to get DreamFleet's Cessna 182RG to install in FS2k2.I can install it in FS2k with no problem but not in FS2k2.I get an error message about not being able to initialize,Tried installing FS2k2 on top of a FS2k installation but that was not much help as it does not overide any of the FS2k files.Any assistance would be appreciated

I am having a problem with FS2002 winds. For some reason, I have lost the effects of winds in my sim. I can set a 20 knot 90 degree crosswind on my takeoff runway in the C-172 and there is absolutely no crosswind effect during or after the takeoff roll. That kind of crosswind in a real C-172 would blow you off the runway. Also, in the air on a cross country flight, I cannot detect any crosswind crabbing when trying to track a selected VOR radial. Does anyone know of what I might have done to lose this valuable feature?Buzz Jameson
