What file is FS2002 looking for when attempting to download weather? When I attempt to download weather FS complains there is a file missing.What is the name of the file and where should it be located. This problem arises when logged on as a Power User. When logged in as Administrator, I'm able to download the weather.I looked through Administrator files with no luck!Any tips, suggestions or errata would be greatly appreciated!

When fueling my 747-400, how much of the fuel goes in which of the tanks? 25% in the AUXs, 50% in the mains right and left, and 25% in the centre? What are the proportions? What does it look like for other planes?CheersCR

Would like to know if the airplanes in Ultimate Traffic follow the standard altimeter rule. When using UT and a real weather program like ActiveSky or FSMeteo, the barometric pressure changes, and you and the other AI traffic are flying above FL180 in the USA, do you hear ATC tell the others they are either below or above their assigned altitude?Regards,Dave Vega

Just downloaded the amazing 737-300 and stuck a Steve Drabek Delta OC paint on it and away I went. And I do mean away. Take-off from ATL at max gross weight and a 22K derate with SEL temp at 40*C (DF Panel/FMC), the VSI was pegged at 6k+ FPM and I was still gaining speed until I brought the pitch attitude through 20* nose up. Only then did it maintain a constant speed. At rotation, I barely had time to get the gear stowed before I was running through the ~220 flaps 5 limit.I know FFX is in a time of hardship with their website being shut down, so I ask this question here. Hey Gang!After a gruesome 2 hours 33 minutes download on a DSL modem, I finally got Ultimate Traffic downloaded, purchased, and installed. The installation process was seamless and pretty straight forward. I went straight into FS2002 and started checking out different airports around the world, and to my surprise, most airlines were present, except for a very important one - - - American Airlines and it's affiliate airlines. As soon as I went to KMIA, KDFW, KORD, and KLAX, I immediately knew something was not right - - - American and the Eagles were missing. I find this piece of payware a mixed bag of very nice audio features, but the 2D panel looks rather cheesy and for some odd reason you have to cycle through the various views twice to get the exterior view to come in fully texture loaded. It does not look very complex in the exterior so that is odd to me. The freeware Falcon 50 is visually SO MUCH MORE enticing and I much prefer the flight dynamics in the Falcon as well, but as I say the other features present in the Beech make it worth it (Beechjet and the odd looking Premier).Anyone know how to make the Beech's exterior view show up instantly like most other aircraft do? I was wondering if anyone alse was having a problem with the landing lights on this casting a purple shadow on the runway instead of seeing the normal white light?? I see it in all of the views, internal and external.

I have been ignored by Vmax for to long now and this is the only way I can see to get any response from them. So here goes nothing.5 weeks ago I ordered the Vmax 747-400 Ready For Pushback download version. However I was unable to download this file due to its huge file size (60+mb) with my 56k modem. Yes this was an oversight on my part and I realize that this is not a problem with VMAX, but,,, On the VMAX website there was no indication of the file size and I found it misleading, to say the least.My service provider cuts me off intermitantly and I cannot restart the download. Okay, I was thinking about this the other day while flying on VATSIM. Wouldn't it be great if there was a small app you could run before you started FS2K2 that would ask you if you were going to fly online or offline and when you picked online it would rename or include those .bgl's that contained static aircraft for your favorite sceneries? Conversely, if you picked offline, it would take those .bgl's away so you could use full AI traffic? I think this would be a great utility, alas, I wouldn't even know where to begin.Lobaeux

Anyone interested in doing additional FFX 727-200 repaints? I have this model tuned up pretty well.. FDE available on request. Landing Gear scuff on takeoffOne problem that I've NOT been able to resolve.. even after numerous editing of the {contact_points} section.. is the Main gear scuff the runway right after rotation and when lifting. Smoke is emitted and the `ert' sound is heard (normally only when wheel is NOT spinning).Then it also does not `spin up' at the right moment when setting down.. seems to be delayed somewhat.. or on second contact with runway. Any solutions?So.. let see about more repaints!!Cheers...

Do real planes roll like the tires are under inflated?Is there a way to make the FS2k2pro planes roll better? Landing on a solid runway shouldn't feel like you're off-road in the mud.Is there someone who can tell me if there's a fix for this problem?

I often find that I am a little off the runway centreline on late, late final. Either I am a lousy flyer or it is harder to line up in the Sim than in real life as most (all?) small aircraft that I see landing seem to nail the centrline everytime. :)Anyway, I always use bank to try to line up as much as possible on late final - but am wondering if this is the correct technique. Could ruddder be used as an alternative?Thanks Barry

Sorry I can't ask this in the Eaglesoft forum because despite having rregistered it tells me the forum is locked and I am not active?Anyway re the Premier. I only have a strobe on the starboard wingtip and the tail. Also although the panel is pretty smooth, when I click the heading adjust knob whilst in a turn I get incredible stutters. This seems to be related to the clicking sound.I would appreciate any help from Eaglesoft on this and on how to be able to post in your support forum.I am Registered as Tim WThanksTim
