How do you guys populate your airports? I have only 5 Project AI airlines downloaded, and KSFO has about 40 aircraft there. I used to have a lot of default airline repaints, but they got deleted somehow. But, for 5 aircraft, the population I get is great! So, how do you guys get different airlines to populate your airports and make it as real as possible?

Hey Guys,No shots this time but a question about a problem that I have with a few aircraft for example the FFX 737 and the Project Airbus A320 and the Meljet planes.Everytime when I would like to land this tail moves to vertical and than it's inpossible to put the nose up !!!!Sometimes it's even more terrible than this pictureposition Does anybody knows what's wrong and how I can solve this ?regards,Dimitri http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/14717.jpg

Can any beta tester share his experiences about clouds and visibility transitions in FS2004. Can we expect smoother instead of sudden changes as in FS2002?Thanks in advance.Gig

Guys this aircraft looks incredible, one thing tho-I've read the readme(How could I not) and have installed it. Hi All,P4 1.6 Ghz512 Mb RDRAMGeForce 2 TI 64 MbWindows XP HomeFor some reason, say on the new FSD Cheyenne 400 LS, whenever i have VC gauge quality on high i get "stutters" and when setting it to low, they dissapear. This happens on heaps of other a/c addons as well. Does anyone know a remedy for this? I am going to upgrade to a GeForce 4 Ti 4800 128 Mb DDR card if it would help. I would really like to be able to park aircraft along with the same airline, so specific airlines park at the same terminal and other airlines at a different terminal. Anyone know how to do this? This way certain airliners are not mixed up with others throughout the airport. Thanks for you help. Of course using AFCAD.I would also like to know if there's any way to add static aircraft using AFCAD. If it's not possible how soon does the aircraft show up before it's departure time, does it just pop up or what?

I was wondering if there were a way to use the same rotating beacons used on FFX's wonderful aircraft for the airport beacons in fs2002 to make them more realistic looking? I saw some posts about how people wanted them to flash insted but I think there cool and maybe could be used as a airport update for FS2002.

A friend whose expertise is IT has an interesting thought about virtual memory management and the windows swap file. he tells me that rather than let windows manage VM, it is best to select a swap file that is only slightly larger than your ram. In other words, in my case I have 512 megs of ram, so he says my VM should be set to 513 maximum. btw, while futzing with my VM swap page size, I tried an experiment with absolutely 0 sized swap page. While this is a subjective observation, it appears that for the few minutes in which I had booted FS2002, there was hardly any difference in performance, though if I had to pick a bias, it would be smoother movement than with a fixe…

I'm new to edit voice pack. I just downloaded about 200 new callsigns. One of them included Southwest Airlines. So, when I downloaded Southwest, and tried it in the game, it still just says 991 instead of Southwest 991. I imported it in Edit Voice Pack, and saved it. But, it still doesn't work.

Does anyone know where the data that Mark uses for Winds Aloft comes from? The reason I ask is that I am a rated pilot and prior to simming I do RW flight planning. Well, except for Deviation...MS hasn't emulated that yet....I've been using http://aviationweather.gov/ for my weather briefing and I find two things:1) The Winds Aloft coming into FS from Meteo aren't anywhere close to the forecast. For example, one area last weekend that I used was forecasting winds that were generally Northwest ranging from 24 kts at 16000 to 60 kts at FL340. In case you did not know, this new utility from Lago will simulate advanced weather modelling (turbulence, microbursts, etc) by modifying aircraft behaviour itself. The FS2002 version is due next week and apparently purchasers of the FS2002 will get a free upgrade to the FS2004 version (although a release date for the FS2004 is unknown because of the code changes required). At 10 euros it would be pretty hard to go wrong, but since it's a Lago product you would not be likely to go wrong regardless of the price. Caught this at the Dreamfleet forum (flightsim.com). It's a Vinka single engine (200hp) trainer for the Finnish Air Force. Great looking model, and great looking VC also. Nice quick action with the controls............. which I just happen to like!! Do someone know where can we download Nagoya Airport? Where can I have Narita Airport Taxi Chart?

There was an A340 panel for download here at AVSIM yesterday and this morning, which looked excellent by the preview pics. It allready had a more than a couple of thousands donloads. Now, when I wanted to download this panel, it seems to have disappeared. "Only" a new A320 and new A330 panel are for download. On the "other" site they say, an A340 panel by the same auther was released as shereware. The one here at AVSIM was definitely freeware. So what's going on?Wolfgang
