One complaint I have about the Go Flight Review is that is does not give you any feedback on the compatability of GF with addon aircraft. What I want to know before spending all of my money on this equipment is that it will work with 767PIC, PSS, etc. etc. It's a lot of money to spend on something that may only work with the default aircraft. I have e-mailed PSS who tell me they don't use GF and I have e-mailed GF who tell me they don't use PSS planes. No doubt this is a great product, but only if it works with the major commercial addons and this should have been clearly reflected in the review.Mark.

I just bought a new G4 TI4200 card and my Baron panel fades out into like 256 color mode or something. What's going on??

Guys, whats the best panel for the FFX B733 and 735? I havethe DF 734 but frankly would like to have a panel that looksas awesome but doesnt require complext FMC programming. Im happyto use FSNav. The ones in the libs just dont do it for mebecause they lack the quality of the DF graphics (Yeah Im spoiledand I like great night lighting.)I have NO problem paying for panels. I have the Ariane B732panel (without TCAS). The Ariane panels are all analog...is thatcorrect for a 733?...what about the 735?Eric

One of many things I have noticed about previous versions of Flight Simulator compared to reality is that in a jet (say at FL320), the cockpit sounds are different. In reality (correct me if I'm wrong), the cockpit is not flooded which so much engine whine - the rushing air mixed with life support fans are the overt sounds. So I am wondering if this characteristic of reality is simulated more appropriately in FS2004? Thank you for your time.Regards,Canadian Hawk.

Can someone post what the lights section in the aircraft cfg file of the FFX 737-300 is supposed to look like? I don't think mine is right, I don't have any wingtip strobe lights or wingtip nav lights on my plane.

I can't get Mike Stone's FH27 to go any faster that 210knts, and that is usually with full throttle. Varying altitudes, fuel load, etc., still unable to gain higher speed.Anybody have any ideas, any tweaks, I might be able to change for improved performance?ThanksJack

Firstly I must say that UT is in and of itself a fantastic product and I am not sorry I spent $30 on it. However The FPS hit is just waaaay too much to be practical IMO.Flying around viewing the genaric scenery is fine but anytime the view includes any portion of a major hub the frames drop from 20 to 5 with a great deal of stuttering, and this is AFTER I have reduced all the deatil and display settings quite drasticaly. This, to me is just not worth the beauty and detail that UT offers as it tends to kill any sort of immersion factor.If anyone is interested maybe we can post some FPS and system specs here. I am not sure when this started, but I noticed that my mouse cursor does not show on the screen, or over the 2D panel UNLESS it is over a button or switch that you can toggle. If I right-click you can see it with the context menu, or if I drop out of full screen mode you can then see it. Strangest thing.If anyone has a suggestion I would be happy to listen. Last nite, I installed the amazing NG panel Version 1.0 for the 737 NG by Alexandre Oliveira and Marcelo Vianna. It always loads fine in FS2002 but after a few mouse clicks here and there around the panel, it just freezes and usually hangs, requiring a physical shut down of PC power because ctrl+alt+del does NOT work. Once it allowed me to exit FS2002 and re-boot the sim, but that was it.I have 170 add-on a/c and 40 add-on panels and all work flawlessly. I run a DELL 8200 2.53Ghz with 1024 RDRAM and usual standard factory stuff.Anybody know why this hanging and freezing is happening?Appreciate help, thanks!JS

Ok here's the scoop,I finally got AI to show up after I had to reinstall the whole MSfs2002 no probs there thought myself great now i cann start to enjoy the simulator more. I downloaded AI flight plans added them in with compiler / decompiler followed the instructions. OK I go to start the flight and not a plane in the sky nothing not even a bird!! I was told to reinstall the Traffic .BGL file which I did from disk 2 and nothing, So I unistalled MSFS2002 again and the Stock AI was back.I need to find out what I am doing Wrong!Any input would be appreciatedNigel:-violin

I finally loaded up DX 9 under my 98SE O/S--not an easy task when you have a dial-up modem. Anyway (and just as Paul has pointed out and I expected), I saw no impact on my system, good or bad. I already thought FS was churning out fairly decent framerates. But DX 9 probably doesn't have any code that'd interest my old GeF/2, other than an odd optimization here or there... I was happy that my Hardware T&L tweak to my 2k2 config was not influenced by the update.... I'm still cranking out 25fps at Sky Harbor, with everything maxed, other than these exceptions:Res--800x600x32Water Detail&Reflections, OffShadows, OffAI-Off (turning it to 50pct costs only 5,6 fps)Ho…

Hi there,Is there any way to allow smaller AI aircraft to park at gates using AFCAD. I'm trying to populate my home airport (MYNN) with visiting airlines which usually park at the gates regardless of size (e.g. ATRs (American Eagle) and Beechcraft 1900Ds ( Continental Connection ). However,after landing, they are usually parked at the ramps on the domestic section, which is a bit unrealistic. Is there any way to get around this?Thanks for any helpJ.C.(MYNN)

Hi I would like to add AI to my local airport and I'm having some problems. For instance i'm using the AI traffic program to put AI in airports. So I noticed that there were no taxiways or runways or parking spots for AI there so I made a new AFCAD file so that they could go there and saved it. I still cant set up a flight for AI to that airport. Thank You for your help.

Hey GuysThey have done such a good job. The avionics are incredible and the radar and HUD add sooooo much immersion. The radar must have been a technical nightmare. You can actually click an AI A/C on the radar and keep a lock on it but I havent yet found the indicators on the Hud for the locked A/C. I really only spent about 5 minutes and had to post something. The VC is very good but as far as I can tell you lose the radar. But I must say it is very high quality. These guys deserve a standing ovation. Thank you very much!!!!RegardsBobG

In addition to these freeware and payware groups and individuals, thanks MUST also go out to all the re-painters and tweakers among us who take already great (and not so great) works of art and give us more excellent planes to fly, tools to use and scenery to see. I just wondered if the performance I get in 2002 will be at all indicative of the performance I get in 2004. I get an avg. of about 40 fps with all sliders up (AA off) right now, so can I tell what I'll get for fs2004?
