A couple of questions: I am just now starting to step up into the world of turbine aircraft and am trying to figure out how to handle the Lear. First, has one of the wonderful wizards of airfiles (like Steve Small...) worked their art and skill on the Learjet? If so, where can I get it? I didn't see anything in the library here or at FSD.Second, in the default airfile, I get periodic, random, un-commanded right roll moments that are significant and severe. Like 30 - 45 degrees in less than a second. And full left aileron/rudder doesn't stop it for a period and then eventually will go back the other way. Greetings!Question for those with the press beta. If the terms of the NDA allow, will you comment on whether or not the new weather engine will allow for thunderstorm tops above FL350? It would be great to see supercell thunderstorm activity as it forms along the drylines in west Texas and Oklahoma. Whenever I click on view options form the pull down menu Fs2k2 crashes. Has anyone ever encountered this before? Does anyone know of a fix for this?All the other functions work fine except for this.

First off, I know FSNavigator has their own forums but no one seems to answer over there when I knock on the door. Maybe they are over at the pub for a bit.Is anybody able to tell me the math formula used to get to the total fuel required in FSnavigator?IE: How are they coming up with the total for a particular aircraft.? They seem to be the only ones I can find that make it work. I want to make a Excel program that does weight and balance and I need to know what is done to calculate the total fuel required.Thanks for any help.

Hi Folks,I just installed Tom Fica's Rocky Bay Homestead but can't find it anywhere. I've installed 100+ sceneries in the past and I'm sure I installed this one correctly. If you have it installed on your computer, could you please let me know the latitude/longitude for it so I can see if i can get to it that way. The new AI helicopters are rather exciting. They take off in a minimum length of runway, they move beautifully at around 80 knots, and come in for a nice short landing. Anyone have any thoughts if the layering of ultimate Traffic will be needed with CoF? what I am getting at is the fact that we will have the ability to land/take-off on any and all runways now so I was wondering if the layering will be needed or if the layering helps in getting the AI traffic out and in with having multipule runways open. I really like UT and find it worth the money and dont notice any frame loss (maybe 1-2fps at the busy airports if that) but dislike layering to have more than one runway open. I have no idea what the problem is. For some reason I am having a hard time opening my C:Program Files/Microsoft Games/FS2002 folder. It will not respond sometimes and when it does it is extremely slow and so are all of the other folders inside. I can only open it by right clicking-open, not by double clicking as in the past. The only recent changes I have made were: installing Ultimate Traffic and overclocking vid card some.I defragged the HD (with 45% left free). I also made sure that the files were all NOT read-only in attributes.BTW, this is only happening in my FS2002 folder. All others are OK (so this is not a hardware question but an FS question). Im using UT and decided I would try and create an overlay.I really messed up. A/C would fly over and that is all. So I want to remove that airport and havent found a way to do it. Im using AFCAD.EXE but see no way to remove one. You can certainly put one in but cant find a way to remove. One more question. Can an overlay solve the problem of only having one runway for landings? I would like to have both runways open for landings. Is this possible?Thanks AllBobG

Hello, after buying Piper Archer II from Flight1 I obsessively flying it. Now I what to upgrade her with some modern avionics, a GPS, but what type of GPS could be fitted in the real ArcherII? A Garmin GNS530, 430? because I have a freeware version from FSavionics of both models, and how do they compaired with the version from reality XP? thanks

I really wish that the new FS had an arrival stacking facility at busy airports. I get really fed up with the AI aircraft piggybackingonto the runway.:-mad Another wish would be a climb with ascending flight levels instead of straight up to requested level. Oh well, cant have everything, I suppose.

Wouldn't it also be great if we had, installed with FS SkyWorld a way to use a random install (just like the clouds) of the different Sun.bmp's, raindrop .bmp's, and moon .bmp's? That way, you'd get a random sun with rays, or orange sun, you'd have different moons and blue or clear raindrops. Again, I'm not sure how you'd be able to do that, but I think it'd be cool.Lobaeux

I would seriously doubt that a KA would use a soft (gravel / dirt / grass) field - but wasn't sure. Anyone know for sure ? As engines are turboprop - doubt any KA's would risk engine damage to foreign injected material ? However, performance of the aircraft is capable of handling these conditions - ??Thks,Ron

hi i have the ffx 737-300 and its great .but the auto throttle wont work .it worked yesterday .but when i am cruising i want to fly at 320 indecated speed. When i turn on the auto throttle the thrust levers move down and stop then i am at 320 for like a minute then the speed slowly decrecses. I've posted a previous message on the request to have runway lights during the day in low visibility and Francois from Simflight posted a few new pictures of FS2004 and look at this one ...... the reflection on the water tells me the sun is still high, although low clouds are visible and - YES! - the runway lights are on. I can not believe it! It's absolutely wonderful news ... seeing that we've asked for it since FS98.I'm also happy to see that all taxiways have signs but one or two pictures show the frame rate on top and that is an alarming 4 and 5 while locked at 20. Oh well - I suppose that's the price you pay for all the 'toeters-en-bellen' (bells & wistles) in F…

Hello all,Everytime I see a post about FS2004, no one ever gives any insight about the traffic sequencing. I just purchased Ultimate Traffic and am seeing unbelievable amounts at Chicago O'Hare. I know there are overlays and all, but here's the simple question, "Does FS2004 have a better sequencing program than FS2002?" I'm tired of seeing aircraft on top of each other on final. Will they adjust speeds so this will work well and planes land on parallels? How is enroute and ground control? Can any beta testers confirm this kind of advanced sequencing at major airports like KORD, KLAX or KATL?Thanks in advance.EricArea51Intel

I hate to keep buggin about the new planes, but I love them. Is there any way to slave the rotating beacon effect to something other than the landing lights? Maybe, possibly, the beacon switch itself? This is one of those effects that really gets you excited when you're sitting on a real plane at night (that and the really hot flight attendant up front :-kewl ). Any suggestions are welcome.
