Hey, I'm back on line after moving to Colorado and I'm itching to spend some money for a new and improved home cockpit. First, does anyone know the dimensions for the AFCS control box? Is it all self-contained or does the yoke rod extend out beyond it (like the CH yoke). The Cirrus yoke is quite a bit less expensive at the moment. I've heard lots of good things about the AETI but nothing about the Cirrus. Anyone? Thanks!David

In the subject mission in the New File Area of the main page today there is an error in the AFCAD file. There is a ":" in line 5 that should not be there. After trying to install the file in AFCAD I contacted Mike Hill, the author, who most graciously told me about the error. All you have to do is open the AFCAD file in Notepad and scroll down to line 5 and delete the ":" and save it. Also when the flight loads you will get an error that says "MyflightsBroken Hill to Adelaide Intl." is missing. Mike says this will not cause a problem. I have flown the mission and all works well as does the AFCAD for the AI. Thanks to Mike Hill for all his help and in providing the file. B…

Hi allI am thinking about upgrading my PC at the moment work is bad for me so im on a limited budget.My current PC spec is:AMD Athlon XP 1900+512Mb DDRGeeforce 4 TI 5500Im unsure as to what i should upgrade, either my CPU or graphics card, I can only afford one and I can only afford AMD's as their cheaper. What should I Upgrade?I get good FPS with A320 PIC and most sliders Maxed.Thanks

For the 738 with winglets.... It looks quite nice--ATA buzzes my house into Sky Harbor every day with their 738...One suggested fix, which should only require a mdl update--the ailerons do not animate when viewed from "dynamic wing mode". Since they do in the first 738, I believe it's just a naming issue, or the wings were cloned before the ailerons were animated...Looks beautiful guys.... And Erick--I'm still waiting for the SWA 737-700... Come on, I know you're doing it :)-John

Hi I set up the A320 from PIC and its running like a dream, smooth as cherry.However I setup my CH rudder pedels, as I was told to in another post. Since installing a second screen on my system I have had a problem with FS2k2. If I ALT-TAB out of FS to Windows (XP), with or without the second screen attached, when I go back into FS the main screen has frozen but the sounds are still there. I can hear the sounds as I change views but the display is frozen. I've checked the drivers, Gainward GF4800SE with 43.51 dets, unplugged the second monitor and tried as much as I can think off this side of a reinstall of FS.Any help will be appreciated.

Hi! After messing around with WinXP Pro settings yesterday, I ended up with problems accessing the Internet. Fortunately I have been able recup most of it, except one.Now, when downloading, after pressing the download key, the files immidiately starts to download without pausing on a screen that shows the destination folder (normaly that of the last dld ) that sometime I whish to change for an other one. It is sent readyly onto an obscure temp folder uneasy to reach (actualy unreachable!!) with Windows Explorer. When the transfer completes, the WinZip screen opens for an immidiate decompress.Would someone know how I can regain control of the pausing screen?Thanks for your…

I've been trying to set up a multiplayer session with a friend but it doesn't work. We've both got FS2002, he's got Win XP and I've got Win 2000. We're both on DSL broadband, through the same ISP. We tried to hook up through Windows Messenger. If he calls the flight and I accept my FS2002 tries to start but it hangs on the splash screen. If I invite him to a multiplayer session his FS2002 tries to start. So, our respective sims are being triggered but it doesn't quite pan out.My firewall has been set to accept all internet traffic through Messenger. Do we both have to have XP, same version of DirectX or something else?My apologies if this has been covered before / somewhe…
