I have had some trouble editing the air file with aired, i copied the entire engine data from one air file to another but then i get such high EGT readings. (727FFX)I liked update concerning controlling the airplane. But the engine parameters aren t quite accurate (epr readings at idle too low and the spooling sound goes too quickly, among other issues)HELP?!?!?!?!

Hi all.I'm having trouble with FS2002 and i was wondering if anybody could help me. When flying any aircraft @ night, there is absolutely no cabin light effects, tail light effects or fuselage light effects, Although the landing lights etc. function perfectly. To be quite honest im stumped as to what to do to fix this prob. So anyone with any information that might be able to help, please share, it will be so unbelieveably greatly appreciated.Thanx in advance.

Using Flight Deck Three I want to add a keystroke to the list of assignments found within MSFS 2002. I want to be able to press a button on my yoke and have it activate "shift plus F9". Any idea how I do this?Thanks in advance Ed

So far I have not been able to find an Add-On with a Follow-Me car, that really runs in front of my plane, showing me the correct taxiway to/from parking . Perhaps the Progressive Taxi-function of FS2002 could be modified to guide such a car? Anyone else interested?Roland

I've read on many post that simmers find the plane handling characteristics of many of the default planes dont preform close to real life. I was wondering if anyone could reply to this post with some of the items that are missing or wrong.There are 3 things that I've noticed in this area.1) Ground friction while taxiing is way off. Either requires too much throttle to get moving or like in the King Air plane starts moving without hardly any throttle. Maybe they should put the King Air taxiing throttle in the float plane since float planes are almost always moving while on the water.2) Plane preformance and handling while on the ground is no different in rain or snow th…

Anything that has the quality of Project Airbus A320s or of POSKY A330s? I have seen the FLightcraft ones, but they only have the 340-600s, which is great, but I also need the 340-300s as this is what most airlines flyThanksCR

Hi,I have an annoying problem and I don't know where it comes from.When I open an aircraft, by default, the GPS/NAV switch is set on the GPS position. This means that, for aircrafts that don't have this switch, I can't use the NAV instruments. I have to go back to an aircraft that has the switch, make the change and then load the aircraft I want.Does someone know how to chnage this behaviour?Thanks

I saw a screenshot over at the Reality XP forum of an updated DF 737 panel using the new Jetliner4 gauges. Does anybody know if FMC info (flightplan...) is displayed on the nav display form Reality XP?That is - from the DF FMC - so that full functionality is maintained.RegardsAsbjorn

My CDx is scratched and the intallation won't go after ......... because it can't copy the file. I have had a lot of fun with FS2002 and learnt a lot about the theoretical aspects of flying. Last week I went up for a joyflight in a 1964 Beechcraft H18 twin and, looking over the pilots shoulder, I could appreciate and understand everything he was doing.BUT -- I still have so many many aircraft, panels, sceneries, adventures that I have downloaded and haven't used at all. Some of these addons would need me to fly them almost exclusively for quite a long time to really appreciate them. But, FS2004 is on its' way and I want to buy it. I was thinking that I would keep FS2002 along with all the unused FS2002 addons on my Hdd-- but I can see that this will be futile. So - t…

Especially when you have to run around in the cockpit to do the second officer's duty. Althought most airliners have to be operated by 2 pilots, which I gree with that but IMO I think it's not "imposible" to single hand flying one of these, even in reality...... but single handed a 3 crews cockpit aircraft is kind of over the line? No offensive here just my pure curiosity and the attempt to search for the "correct" level of reality in FS experience.

The following remark caught my eye in a FS2004 BETA review on SimHQ (http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_060a.html)'Startup requires the number 4 CD to remain in the drive'One of the best features of Fs2002 that I now take for granted is that it runs without the official CD in the drive. If FS2004 has this 'feature' and its asscociated 'clever cd protection software that hampers the running of the program you just bought and keeps your CD-Rom spinning like crazy all the time' TM I would be very disappointed.Lets hope this feature is only in the Beta.

Hi All,Need some help from the experts. I've delved into making layered airports lately, with much success. I've done about 15 so far, putting all the airlines at the proper terminals and gates. But I've run into one problem. I use third party AFCAD's and modified them to custom fit each layer at each airport. When I did KSEA, I had a problem with aircraft being stuck at hold short red nodes on taxiways. I managed to solve that by putting blue nodes on all taxiways (except at the end of each runway for obvious reasons). The problem I am having is this. All aircraft land on 16R and take off on 16L and vice versa. That part works fine. But I have this darn annoying problem …
