  2. Hi allI'm using a X-36 Saitek joystick with the elevator trim assigned to one of the rotaries.Say, if I decided to takeoff and climb manually, trimming the elevators to suit a constant climb, then i decide to allow the Autopilot to climb the rest at the current attitude.During this time of switching Autopilot on and on a postive rate of climb, I haven't centred the rotary, leaving the elevator trim in the positive position - as when flying manually. I noticed during the climb the trimmer wheel is constantly moving about, from what looks like it's having to match trim to suit my rotary position ie. positive. In this position, the trimmer can't seem to settle down to a corr…

I'm getting as excited as others when I see the wonderful screenshots posted from the press copies of FS Century of Flight. At the same time, I think about my collection of freeware and payware add-ons that make FS2002 so much fun and how they will work in FS2004. Many of my add-ons rely on the genius of Peter Dowson and his FSUIPC module. So it's going to be very important for Peter to release a FS2004-compatible version of FSUIPC. Of course, the sooner, the better! :-smile12 If you also have add-ons that rely on FSUIPC, you may want to consider donating to Peter and supporting his efforts to upgrade FSUIPC to work with FS2004 and well beyond.I don't want to start a deba…

Well, I think I may be on to something as far as flying this a/c. Here's what has been working for me and really seems to make the aircraft flyable. I set takeoff trim to the first line below the center. This is also with a full tank of gas. For the people who zig zag down the runway apply the throttle SLOWLY and smoothly, you'll run right down the centerline. With the takeoff trim set apply alittle back pressure on the stick at about 85 knots and it will smoothly and gently leave the ground. Nice. Now for the big stuff. As for leveling off make SMALL adjustments with the throttle and when using the trim just make ONE adjustment at a time. WAIT for that one adjustment to …

  8. Hi,Maybe a foolish question, but, my pilots in the cockpit don't have any textures. Even when I installed the base textures of BWIA. Also I do not see any interior textures. Did I do something wrong when I installed these excellent planes?Regards,JeroenThe Netherlands

Whenever I fly and I either open the SquawkBox program to ATC and such or if I open FS Navigator, my screen turns white. Then about 30 seconds later it will turn back to blue. I have the latest version of FSUIPC and I even have the apply whiteout fix, box checked. It gets old quite fast and I was wondering if anyone out there knew of anything else I could do to fix this.

I have just downloaded and installed the EW ATR. In FS2002, I can see the plane, but when I try and load the plane I get "Invalid license". Anybody have a solution, because the planes are not flyable as is. I am surprised that this was not caught before they starting selling the ATR on the aerosoft site.

Normally, my reactions to FS2004 screenshots have been kept inside... The first picture in this set made me verbally blurt out a holy "shiznit" when I saw it.http://edirectamerica.com/fs04/utfs04/Edit: There's a first set as well... (Including Princess Juliana!)http://edirectamerica.com/fs04/index.htmEdit #2 : I just noticed this was already linked on what is currently page 2 of the forums under the thread "FS2004 Screenshots at FS Gateway". Sorry Siggy for reposting your find!

I don't understand this: I have made a picture-perfect approach just like I have done zillions before, no wind, touched down just at the perfect spot on the runway - and then this bird simply "sinks" in the ground, i.e. the rear wheels "eat" themselves into the concrete, making plenty of noise and firy and flashy flames (and thus the plane unsteerable)... why?? I have tried it with several of the POSKY 744Fs (Cargolux, Air France), at several airports, always the same problem.Anyone can help? Is the plane badly loaded, i.e. too much weight on the centre of the plane? If yes, can I influence this? Other reasons?
