When I was on the airplane and noticed that the pilot open flaps during take-off. Why is that?

Just saw the announcement on the reality xp gauges, I checked them out on the website. They look pretty good. Has anyone dl'd them yet? I'm thinking of getting them and putting them in a CRJ panel, just looking to see if anyone's done it yet and how well they work. I saw on the "other site" the announcement of the Jet Line C with a HUD, but didn't see this on the Reality XP site. This would be optimal with the CRJ I think!!Lobaeux

Hello,For some reason I can't seem to get the transponder turned on in my new Dreamfleet Archer. Not via the 2D cockpit, the pop up radio panel, or an assigned hotkey. Very strange, as the mouse displays menus when the cursor is held over the transponder's power knob, etc., but no amount of clicking can turn it from the "off" position.Any help appreciated, thanks!Joel

Hello,Wondering if anyone has gotten their TrackIR to work smoothly with ActiveCamera Pro enabled? Actually I should say not smoothly, as TrackIR seems to have a problem dealing with Turbulence on my machine, creating all kinds of rapid shifts in the view.Both products work great independently though, just trying to combine that great head latency/turbulence effect with automatic panning... any advice appreciated, thanks!Best,Joel

Hi all especially the staffI ordered the Flight Deck Companion from the AVSIM Store (support for AVSIM), I received the software (vaporware), like always checked the package for damage, then proceded to open the package then removed the wrap paper from the plastic case and opened ..............SURPRISE, MIRACLE, SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!in front of my eyes for the first time in my life I stared at whatmany in this forums refer to "vaporware"; the plastic case was empty, no CD no written material (if there is any), surelly full of AIR!!! Hi i have fs2002 and now all of a sudden my scenery on the map with the waypoints and airports is missing in northern Texas and southern part of oklahoma is there a fix for this problem or do i need to reinstall my fs2002?thanks...

I've had the strangest thing happen here in the last day or so - When I load FS2002, the network monitor on the taskbar shows the sim is trying to access the net (and if it can't, it takes about 30 seconds just to see the splash screen). When the games does come up, I've lost all broadcast from the rear speakers. I'm using an ASUS A7N8X mobo with the onboard sound. This did just the same when I had my old config of an A7V333 and a SB Audigy MP3+. I've installed a new hard drive, and am not about to wait two months to install FS2k4, so I need to put FS2k2pro back on my system! I'm looking for an "essential files" list with (IYHOs) the best/most needed mods and addons for FS2k2. Any links to share? Tips? I have just noticed a couple of puzzling things with my FS2002. 1. At night, when I switch from cockpit view to spot plane view, at first the nav, beacon, and strobe lights are there, but in about three seconds they go away and are no longer visible. If I go back to cockpit view, then back to spot plane, the same thing happens.2. I no longer see the wake or water splashing when using sea planes in spot view, or in cockpit view.I have tried moving all the sliders to the right in Options, Steetings, but it does not change anything.Somehow I must have done something or added some plane or scenery that has caused this.Any thoughts anyone?Thanks

Does anyone run Abacus' EZ-Landmark with FS02? I just downloaded it and registered it and was trying it out in demo mode around Chicago. It works fine but about every 20-30 seconds the sim annoyingly pauses for a second or two then resumes normally. It happens every 20 - 30 seconds. When I turn off EZ everything returns to normal. I tried Abacus tech support and they admit they are stumped. They said the program only reads FS files and shouldn't do this. What's more, I have a brand new system with a 2.8ghz P4, 1 gig ram, and a Nvidia 128mb GForce4 Ti-4600G card, and have had smooth performance with no stutters. Any ideas?? Thanks. :-)

I first want to thank everyone for all the help with my last question, however I have a new one. I installed the 737-800 BWI Base package and the AA, DL, CO repaints and dropped them into FS like I have done so many times before and I can not get them to show up. Any suggestions would be great, I have already checked to make sure a file wasn't missing or something but I seem to remember you can't have to file names the same and I do not so I am quit puzzled.
