HiCan anyone recommend a good utility that will show me all the valid aircraft that are available for fs to use. The reason i ask is that in the past i've added ai aircraft but, because of a typing error in the aircraft.cfg file, it hasn't been compiled into the traffic.bgl file. I used to use a utilty called "AI Traffic" but unfortunately, i can't get it to work under windows xp.ThanksGary

Sirs-Does flightsim 9 have a weather radar as standard? If not could one be built that is accurate unlike current attempts.Finally is it flightsim 9 or FS2004 or Flight sim ACOF? Personally I think FS9 is the best title.Regards

Eaglesoft, I'm wonding is there a way to get your jet to work with FDC? I can't seem to get past the Pre-Start checklist. After the first checklist FDC no longer works. I don't have this problem with any of my other aircraft.

Dear All.I am a happy man today! JAnd at last I have succeeded in finding a Concord suitable to fly as AI aircraft, flying at supersonic speed above 55,000 feet and landing successfully. That is the Concord by Pedro Oliveira.In all other Concords they fail to fly AI. The ATC cancels its flight either it cannot maintain the allocated flight level, or attains the flight level but keeps oscillating above and below that level with a considerable variation that the ATC cancels the flight. Does anyone know if the sky gets darker at higher altitudes in FS2004? In FS2002, it looks very unrealistic cruising at 45,000 ft with the bright blue sky. Flight Unlimited III is the only civilian aviation sim I know of that simulates this effect - when you're cruising at high altitudes in your 747 or Learjet in FU3, the sky is very dark, while it's bright when viewed from the ground and at lower altitidues.

As the title says,I suspect my rather high-Mid end PC is beginning to Stutter to such an extent that it is more hassle thant its worth to fly anymore. Just completed a flight taking part in the California Screaming event. And just as I started my descent,the pc starts jumping from 25FPS to 2.3. Its not my settings,cos I always flew with the maxed out settings,except visibilty and Water Reflections being turned off... Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? Hello,I am a reasonablly new sim flier (about 6 months). I am not a real pilot and have no ambition to be one. When I started to use my MS2002 Sim I added parts that seemed to me to make up important parts of real flying - yoke, pedals, and a GoFlite system that emulates switches, buttons, radios and an autopilot. I have worked pretty hard to get the procedures down. Flight planning with Terminal Procedures and Flight plan tools. I don't import flight plans into GPS's. If there is no way to enter them into the system, I try to fly VOR, etc.My post is of great interest to me - I use almost all payware aircraft. After having unloaded the fantastic one, amazing, amazing 737-800 FFX I have noticed that with the combination of keys shift+E is opened the hatch of access only, doesn't continuing with 1 and 2 other happen, however ' I have noticed from the screens in the forum that ski would have to be also the scaletta of access, but as it is let to open it? with which keys? Hi everyone,I would be interested to know what peoples opinion is of the FFX 732 when compared to the YeoDesigns model? This may seem a slightly odd question because its not like we are talking about a payware design here or anything! I could just download the FFX model and try it out for myself, but I'm just interested in what people think? How can I open and close the different cargo doors on the POSKY 744F? Shift+E only opens the small passenger side door, but what about the big cargo side hold and about the nose door? There was a similar question in the forum some time ago, but the reply linked to a FAQ on the POSKY site which is no longer accessible (the FAQ, not the POSKY site).Anyone can help?Cheers

For those downloading Ricardo Jone's ultralight panel.Although he was kind enough to include mention of my name in his description, I was not asked, nor did I give him permission to borrow my work--namely, the panel.bmp taken from my Microlight project.I created that bitmap with the help of Fabio Miguez from Leading Edge. I sketched out the shape and general plan of the panel, and Fabio offered to apply a more realistic shading.People like Ricardo should not be in so much a hurry to see their "name in lights" that they borrow work like ours without our permission. I never use the 2D panel or Tower views, but am forced to "Cycle" through them to get to Virtual Cockpit and Spot, which I do use.Is there a way to delete them from the cycle, or better yet toggle VC and Spot the way you can "Top Down" view? I mean in the main window, without opening a second view or anything.Thanks, any help appreciated; surpised I coudn't find this subject discussed in past posts as other simns I flew before MS2002 toggling was the default way to change views- this "cycle views" method seems poorly designed so I'm hoping there's a way around it.Best,Joel

Hi!I've just started using the wonderful delco INS-navigation system and now I'm wondering how to print my flightplans with (decimal) coordinates for the waypoints (since they are used for input into the INS-unit.) and it would simplify things quite a lot to have them on paper during the input! Printing from FsNav 3.1 doesn't include coordinates, and the FSBuild printout only have them in the degrees, minutes, seconds system... Any thoughts anyone??cheers!/fredrik

I don't know whether anyone's encountered this, but a weird thing happened to me in FS2002.I was parked on the northeast end of San Francisco International, right between runway 28R and 19R. I am using the default King Air.Ground tells me to taxi to runway 28R via CHARLIE. As soon as I get on Charlie, my plane jumps (as if there was a bump on the taxiway). I thought nothing of it.A little after I cross 19L, I hit another bump, the surrounding scenery "disappears" and I lose power. I restart the engines then the scenery comes back.Any idea why it would do this?
