:-zhelp I have a Athlon 2400 XP processor on a ASUS MB. My question is I would like to upgrade to the 3000 XP using the same MB, will I be required to re-install XP Pro or not. I thought that I had read somewhere that if you upgrade the MB then a re-install is necessary but I could be wrong..Any ideas greatly appreciated..Thanks in advance!!JC

Anyone tell me how to get this back. That darn Lago Twotter install changed this automatically to a 'fly by' view without giving me the option to choose this or not. Nor did they give you an option to change this.Worst payware I've ever brought, but the new Beechjet by Eaglesoft and the 421C Golden Eagle, Marchetti F260 shows how it should be done.

Hello,I can't seem to get any wind noise in my Dreamfleet Archer. Checked the Sound.cfg and raised the volume on the wind sound there, but still nothing. Anyone else not getting this sound? If I cut my engines in flight I do like to hear something for realism.Best,Joel

FS2002 crashes everytime I attempt to load the A320/A330 panels by Eric Marciano. The error message points to "A320.gau" (using the panel cfg. for the Project Airbus model) or when loading an ac with his A330 panel, I get error pointing to "A330.gau". This happens even when switching from the default cessna situation. Reinstalling the panels did not solve the problem. Can anyone help solve this?I'm running Win98se, and this is the only panel I have this problem with. The two dll's that came with them are in the modules folder along with the latest version of FSuipc. FSSound was listed in the "oldmodules" section of FSconfig. I also have the Nav database installed and work…

Would it be possible? I mean reflections are already implemented somehow and X-plane managed to implement shadows on the ground because of clouds...Does anybody know if MS plans to implement it/ has already implemented it in this pre-alpha (or whatever it is)? Thanks,Stefan

Does anybody know (or has anyone experienced) FS2002 altering hardware audio settings when it's run? Lately, when I run the sim, it forces my audio configuration back to 2 speakers instead of 4. It did this to my SB Audigy card, and it's doing the same now to my onboard nVidia audio. Any help is greatly appreciated!Scott

Hi all,Well I would like to know from any of you who received a beta copy of FS2004, the following thing which has been missing in any flightsim....as far as I know...Does FS2004 have clouds casting shadows on the ground. And does the aircraft and building clouds dissaperes when cloudy?I mean,...in previous versions there are sharp shadows even when overcast with rain. :-roll :-lolFly safe, :-wavehttp://www.scandicair.com/images/SA_Banner4b.jpg

Just found this info out, trust me it works, got about a 6-7 FPS jump in FS ;D I just flew the LAGO Tornado! at Lakenheath with addon scenery, and WOW!To all of you who use WinXP and download the security patches this is very important information. Is there a way to change the rate of the trim speed (from full up to full down) on individual planes? Some of my planes have a very slow rate while others have a high rate. The reason I'm asking is because the default autopilot seems to have trouble with the "slow rate" planes when capturing the glide slope - the planes tend to take an alarmingly big dip before the autopilot can properly adjust the slow-moving trim. Thanks, Kenny B.

addresses the shortcomings - Just for chuckles I thought I'd try the lessons out. Now, Ron Machado is a nice guy, and a funny one at that, but looking over and seeing an empty seat - uh, yeah.Anyway, I noticed a few things. First, when Ron has control of the airplane, he's pretty sloppy at getting to the altitude he says he's flying at. And when he yanks that yoke back, man, watch out!I'm not sure how the engine is supposed to work, but as the flights are in a 172, the power settings seem way off - and what's with power-off descents at 90 knots? I've never flown power-off descents at 90 knots in real-world lessons; it's been either cruise descents @ 110 kts or so and appr…

Hi Being an avid user of project ai repaints, i currently have several hundred repaints flying around. However, every so often i come across a parked aircraft that has no painted texture - usually caused by a typo when it was installed (possibly several weeks previously.) This generally poses no problems if, and it's a big if, i can tell which aircraft is at fault. Knowing the flight number of the unpainted aircraft would simplify things. I know fs can label ai aircraft with their flight number - but not when on the ground. Does anyone know of a way or a utility whereby parked aircraft can be indentified ?Any help much appreciatedDon

Hi there,When i use aircraft with virtual cabins such as the meljet triple 7, the viewpoint set in the virtual cabin ( ie when you walk about and look of the windees etc ;-) ) sets the cockpit view to the same point so when it comes to landing with the panel in view i am not actually at the front of the aircraft, i am where i left the V/C view ( ie looking out the windee ;-)).I was just wondering, does anyone know anyway to reset the default v/c ( or cockpit ) view point without have to "guess" with moving around in V/C mode ?Thanks! :-wave

hi,Anyone else want to know this? I wonder what solution MS came up with to keep Ai aircraft from running over each other on final approach and having to go around. I suppose there could be many solutions to the problem.1. holds2. stacking...making aircraft form a spiral over the airport and slowly descend until its their turn to land. 3. telling aircraft on descent or inbound to hold a certain airspeed for seperation.4. a combo of speed restrictions and S turns to seperate aircraft on approach to the same runway.which one do you guys think MS went with? Of course they may have gone with something totally different. ;-).AndrewPS. We will most likely find out in that "mons…

Hi all,I was just flying around Orlando and the thought came to me again.Has any of the very talented scenery makers we have in our hobby ever took on the making of Disney World? OR, is this a big no-no with Disney. There are several buildings depicting WDW but they are default. It was once said by Disney CEO that they are their own country and they don't need any outside help (or words to that effect), so I thought maybe they would not let anyone infringe on their copyrights, trademarks, etc.I would also like to see the Daytona 500 track in Daytona right next door to the Daytona airport.Anyway, that's one of the things I think about while flying in that area.Any comments…
