Tom Main or one of his staff to get back with you if you are having a problem reinstalling UT? I dont want to be a pain in his side and I am sure he and others are busy getting UT to work for us in CoF just as quicky as they can but I have this 30 program and can't get it to reinstall and havent heard back from UT customer service as to what can be done. I have the key code from the orginal install and know what credit card i used but it wont reinstall. Any advice from fellow simmers?Kilstorm

Hello Gents,I was not sure which forum to post this in. I was looking for a Lockheed Lodestar to download for fs2002 but could not find one. :(Is there one out there, anyone would be interested in designing one? We have one at our airport here, well the remains of one, and a pilot from the 50's was relating his experience of those planes and his love for them in a local newspaper. If anyone can provide some help I would be extremely grateful.Cheers.:D

Hi, how can I adjust the rate of reverse thrust? When I use it on the sim jets I don't seem to slow down as fast as on a real plane (especially when the runway is wet)Thanks, Tim.

Fellow simmers .....I post occasionally, read the forums constantly, not only here but also at allnodesbusy.com and about a half dozen newsgroups. It seems most of the comments about the upcoming release ( o'man this wait is taking forever ) are reasonably positive but even at pre-release the whinners' are starting to creep out of their holes !! So when you ( and YOU know who you are ) are about to make a statement such as ........"It should be easy to just .... " re: fix de jour or "I would think several lines of code would be all that's needed to ..." or "If MS really cared it would not have been a problem to include blah, blah" and the ever popular " This sim is a pi…

Given my bandwidth challenges, I've been spying the Aero Commander. Yet I am curious--the V/C package is smaller--why? Do either or both models include virtual wing views? If so, which one? What are the +/-'s of each model--IOTW, why would someone want it w/o a V/C?Thanks,John

Hi,I was wondering on the drive home from work tonight, what addons are not going to work with FS2004 and what I would really miss if I could not use them. This got my onto thinking what would be my "Desert Island" addons, I decided that I could take 2 planes, 2 scenery and 2 utlity addons on my Island. It was a lot harder than I thought to pick, so here are minePlanes1) AFG YS-11, Why?, well it is unique, it is a great package, and one of the only FS2002 planes that will punish you if you thrash the engines2) Aerosoft ATR, Well I have a passion for turboprop twins, and this one is one of the best, a great complete packageScenery1) & 2) Would have to be 2 of G Simmons U…

Weren't computers designed to simplify our lives? I thought so, but today I decided that if they were, someone screwed up.Tried to send Mike Stone an email earlier today, just to let him know that I'd knocked up a quick panel for his "Twin Pin" (TWINPANEL.ZIP in the library today, by the way). Many hours later, received an email from a spam blocking company saying I was not on his "White List" (i.e. he hasn't kept my email address in his address book) and I would have to send in authorisation that I really wanted to send him an email. Er, yes, I did. Then some time later again, I get a note from The Spam Busters saying that I was rejected, that I could no longer send …

With rgds to FSUIPC.dll at this time, you can be assured that a new module will be available. When will that be?? When Peter Dowson is happy with his work and he feels it is ok to be released. Fs2004 is still another 4 weeks away, so no need to worry about just yet.Expect to pay for it when its relased. If you have been a flight simmer for some time now, you will know that it something that you really have to have and until now, Pete has done all his work for free.. A small contribution for such a great add-on is not asking too much (IMO)Give him time and space and you will again see an FSUIPC.dll file that is on par with what we see in Fs2002 compatible in FS2004.Rgds…

I was wondering what happened to the recent thread about addon aircraft, some would work others wouldn't. It was posted a couple of days ago and I can't find it. If someone could link it that would be great. I am just wondering, because I would like to see if anyone has tried older models in fs2004. The thread had something about fsds1, 2 and gmax something like that.Thank You,

Just wondering if the creepy/crawlies at some airports has been corrected. You land and as you enter the taxi-way it turns to grass or gravel. I've noticed this at quite a few airports and it bugs me at two of my favorites, Minneapolis and La Crosse, WI.Thanks

I know what windows and buttons to push to create surface winds, and have been able to do that AND add winds aloft.Q1) By default, at least on my machine, surface winds upper alt is over 100K and FS2002 Pro insists on values <= 99,999. Is there a way to prevent over 100K values from showing up in the first place?Q2) How high should surface winds be set at? 500 ft, 1000 ft or more? Should it be just less than the lowest level of winds aloft? My intent is model weather that is consistant with the current METAR of the area I'm flying. I'd also like to produce typical surface winds on occations where I set up my own weather. I'm also aware that FD Winds Aloft as report…

Geoffa,Really happy to hear you were testing FS2004. They couldn't have had a more thorough person on the team. I keep reading these "horror stories" on frame rates and sluggishness with the new version. I read comments that warn that only the computers of the future will enjoy true "fluid flight". The OTHER forum dedicated to FS2004 is ripe with this stuff.Question: How will a new Dell 2.8 gig, ATI Radeon 9700, and 512 MB Ram work with FS2004 (in your opinion, of course). I can't wait to fly your Deb on the new platform, but I really hope that the dreaded stutters stay away with all the great clouds, weather, and detailed airports. Thanks for all your contri…

Hi folks,i'm trying to fly FFX 733-735 coupled with DF panel; but there is a problem: those planes have only two fuel tanks and the panel has three fuel gauges :-( Any workaround? As Ariane 733 has three fuel tanks i ask: which is the correct number? Thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)

Being a rather new user of FS 2002 Pro and VATSIM, I am wondering when I should be using the Heading Bug Indicator Knob.As it now stands, when FS or VATSIM ATC's direct me to a specific heading, I use the Heading Bug Indicator Knob. Is this a correct proceedure? What is the purpose of the Heading Indicator Knob on the left? I see if I move that, heading will also change. Can someone please explain the difference between the Adjustment Knob and the Bug Knob?Thank you in advance for your tips, suggestions and errata! :-newbie

Hi everyone. As I dont think I can make request for a screenshot in the screenshots forum I have put it here instead. I hope this is ok and if not I appologise.Could one of the Beta testers please if you have time post some screenshots of Whiteplains Airport which is KHPN and also if you can maybe the Tappen Zee bridge which if I recall is west of the airport at a heading of roughly 240 ish degrees and goes over the Hudson river.I have noticed in some screens that theres seems to be railroads in the scenery and as I sometimes visit a friend in that area and have travelled over that bridge I have noticed a railroad line that heads along the hudson river towards new york cit…
