Hi Guys,My problem with MSFS is this, I have installed many new AFCAD files as well as sceneries and add-on aircraft for myself and for AI use. Now after some time and no specific installation of another add-on my GA aircraft are bouncing or sinking in the ground even if I fly them. With jet aricraft there seems to be no problem as you can see in the screenshot. I use AITM to manage most of my AI flightplans and the Aircraft Editor to search for any faults with any aircraft, none could be found. SO the problem is just with General Aviation aircraft all over the world, the model files work correctly. Does anyone know what the problem might be?Flyin' High (well not in GA al…

I have several aircraft types (both pay and freeware) That are very difficult to steer on the ground. They just will not turn quickly enough. I know there is a way to correct this, but cannot for the life of me remember what it is! In most cases the {GROUND_REACTION}MAX_STEERING_ANGLE=70does not have any effect.Anyone help??SteveBasingstoke UKhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg2.53Ghz P4 | 512 MB SDRAM | Geforce 4 MX400 64MB | 80GB HDD | WinXP Pro | DX9

  4. Is it possible ? We want to fly both in the same plane or heli...Instructor mode doesn't allow to do it and I can't find any software to do it...Also, I can't imagine that we are the only ones who want to do it ;-) ;-)The top would be to be able to take commands at any time, like if we were student/instructor in a plane...thanx :)Elcap

  5. I am looking for a really good flight planning software. Which would you recommend, (I understand that there are several other components that each planner has, the FMC, weather, etc. I am not interested in any of that, I plan to purely use the flight planning component) The main differences that I can see so far on the flight planning side are that FS Nav has a complete SID/STARS database and Flight Sim Commander doesn't. It also seems that Flight Sim Commander has a database with airports diagrams and maps, while FS Nav doesn't have that. Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,I wonder if any of the Betatesters has ever tried to install the FS2002-addons like Flight1's Meridian or the Golden Eagle, Cardinal, PSS Airbus or Dash8 into FS2004. Whats about the RealityXP instruments?Do these addons run without a need for a patch in FS2004? Or dont they run at all? Thanks a lot and cheers,Michael

I have a couple of very good Ford TriMotor's on my hard drive. However, I would like to have a repaint of the "Island Airlines" trimotor that flew out of Port Clinton, Ohio to the Lake Erie Islands until the late 70's or early 80's. Anybody seen a repaint like this? (on Avsim or another site?)Thanks,Scott Smith

Question for FS2k4 Beta testers...Do AI aircraft land correctly in FS2004 or do they fly into the runway like they did in FS2002. I think the default AI 737s had this more so versus the other birds.

Hi folks,I have been wondering about this, I asked my friend he said some scenery will work but some not, it all depends. Well I suppose if the scenery were made with GMAX, then will it display properly ? how about if the scenery is not made with GMAX ? will it still run ?I hope those who has FS2004 will give me information about this matter as I am thinking if I should purchase FS2004 or not, it's not worth the money if my favorite scenery that works well in FS2K2 doesn't work in FS2K4.Cheers!

I have some strange flashing textures on runways (not on taxiways or ramps!) just in front of the aircraft (all aircraft and I think at most airports). It is hardly visible with the panel but with with the mini panel or no panel it is obious and disturbing. It looks like the grass is flashing thru and sometimes there are just faint marks (see enclosed sc).At the same time the runway seems to wobble a little. Everything stops if I bring the aircraft to a complete stop.Could anybody give me some hint what is wrong? Thanks in advanceWalterhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/20330.jpg

I remember downloading a fix for some probs that Nvidia GeForce cards have in FS2002 and I was wondering if there was anyone that could point me to that file. I have problems such as not being able to display Aircraft reflections and getting jaggety edges around aircraft in spot view. Thanx for the help guys!

I takeoff-ask for the ils 27-then depending on my whim ask for a vor 18-then maybe a published hold-followed by a ndb niner. You get the picture-add some real weather and you have heaven-not to mention valuable cost saving training practice.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

Despite many fine pieces of advice, I'm still having problems with locked brakes with my CH Products rudder pedals USB. I'm running Win98 SE at 1 GHz and 640 MB SDRAM, GeForce 3 card. I've reversed the toe brake axes and set the sensitivities all the way left as recommended (see attached screenshots), yet the brakes remain locked.Help!http://rg.travelocity.com.edgesuite.net/lo...ologo_35x35.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MDhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19225.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19226.jpg

The panel that is pictured in the .jpg shots is not the full panel I have. He gives no instructions on how to install anything. I tried posting in their forum but could not get forum to come up. I guess they are down so I hope someone here can help me? They have written that it is is to install but they give no info. or any manual. Thank yu, S.

(Notice that it's a java application, so you'll have to activate java in your browser at least for this eurocontrol site). Clicking the logo at the top of [link:www.ead.eurocontrol.i…

I'm looking for a file that was here some time ago. It was the water landing directory for fs2002. I know there is the listing in the fs help file (printed it out -- not very well). Someone had gone through the listing and made a seperate document with it all formated. They also added extra data to the file. I believe they listed the dimensions of the 'lakes' that water landings in the list had as well as there altitudes. I will if neccessary do this myself as I have not been able to find the document but if it is available for download I would rather that then typing them all in and formatting myself. I'm not sure if it was an excel ss or just a text doc but I do remembe…

Its been mentioned that we can now add into the config file where planes should park by a/c carriers and types (GA/cargo)...my question is when youfile a flight plan in IFR they always give you a starting gate but was wondering if MS added a parking place like ga, Cargo, and terminal which would list the different terminals at the arriving airport?I suppose doing the config way we will still get to park where we should just as long as GA is no longer told to park at gates and cargo can now get directed to Cargo.Kilstorm
