Hello I have this problem that when i am tasked to decend to 3900ft for the ILS of a runway i cannot select the approach button,it will not light up. I am using the DF panel merged with the new Ariane 737-500. I have flow my flight all the way using the FMC then change to using the auto pilot buttons for my final approach, also using RC3. Why cant i select the approach button to intercept the ILS. Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. Shaun.

I have been visiting this forum for many years. I very rarely post, but its always very interesting hereing the complaints about a sim product before it comes out. I'm not an employee of microsoft nor am I a programmer or a pilot, I'm just the guy who works hard and loves the hobby of flight simming.It amazes me when someone says what the sim sim is lacking or that it is a mere update or why is it that other developers make better airport scenery. Then ask yourself, why don't the others developers develope their own sim since the graphics seem to be their bread and butter...? Even though "Gold" copies are out, I read this morning from someone who ought to know, (in another forum) that no official release has been made by MS. It was further stated that this is why some questions are still going unanswered, even though many new screen shots are provided. It was stated by this "tester" that he is a not going to answer certain questions until he gets "official word". When ever I am on my take off roll my plane always seem to vear off the center line of the runway (It happens with almost all the planes I have) And the stronger the wind the more off center the plane gets. Is there a way or trick to keeping a plane on the center line during take off?

Dear FriendsMy Fs2002 and the add ons have functioned perfectly for a long time, but within the latest few weeks it suddenly closes down without any warnings. Sometimes Fs just freeze. But I have not noticed any pattern. And from time to time I do not experience any problems at all. My PC is very new and fast so I think the problem is isolated to FS.Thanks in advance for any help/Jens:-)

Today in preparation for COF2004, I decided to delete my entire 16 GB FS2002 installation and reorganize my hard drive with the idea of paralell FS2002 and COF2004 installations sharing a common Addon Scenery folder.I just reinstalled FS2002 and I'm thinking of creating a folder outside of FS2002 to install all my addon sceneries...this should also make it easier to reference the sceneries from COF 2004.1. Is this a particularly useful idea? Would there be any problems caused by installing my sceneries outside of FS2002?2. I've also seen posts in the past that discussed adding all sceneries into a single folder (e.g. all bush sceneries) Can someone describe how this is…

Hello guys,I would like to have your ideas about a problem I have here.For my Wideview setup I have three exactly the same pc's.The same hardware, the same software.About three months ago one pc sometimes hung in a very detailed scenery: a fatal error occured , but in a unknown dll.Restarting Fs solved that.But bit by bit the pc started to hang more often .Since a week , it is there all the time.But like a wrote before , only in a very detailed scenery.Default airports give no problem, but Lago's Schiphol or one of the Simflyers airports.I have replaced memory , the graphics card ,reinstalled Fs ( my addon scenery is on another partition ) and theid mutiple Nvidia drivers…

Do the clouds bounce off the plane visually as they did in 2002? Or are thy now like FLY II, where they wisp and you can actually immerse yourself in them...in other words is a cloud a bitmap that cannot surround the plane as you enter it? Hello,The new 737's from Ariane looks good, but flight dynamics could be a lot better.I bought the 737-400 and I was looking at 737-500 in a friend, the 737-500 visual model is good, but the air files looks like a copy from 737-400 not adapted to 737-500.For example the ground handle when taxing is poor, the power looks too much for a 500, etc.What do you think ??? Where is the mini-panel for a particular aircraft selected from? Is it in the panel.cfg or the aircraft.cfg or someplace else?The reason is I want to change the mini-panel of a 3rd party aircraft to point to the jet mini-panel and not the prop mini-panel.Thanks,
