Hi Guys,I am wondering if anyone can help me out with a G Force MX440 question? I remember awhile ago that someone posted a method ofzapping the card, (alt + tab I think it was), in order to get aircraft reflections. I can't seem to make it happen anymore.Im using the 29.42 drivers and wondering if I should upgrade?Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,Astro

There are some "gauge cleaner" programs around. Is there a tool which is able to clean up sound and effect files as well (e.g. delete/move unused sound files)?Andreas

Hi,Anyone know where I can locate the 3rd service pack for FSSE? I recently donwloaded FSSE from the LAGO site but it said it's only updated through SP2. Pretty slim pickings, I'm hoping that sp3 added a few good GA planes. Thanks,Joel

Hey everyone. I'll be at EDDF for a 3 hour layover before I continue onwards to Chicago. I am wondering how one(me) could access the 'observation deck' that is at the airport? I don't know how to get to it and I will be IN TRANSIT from an inter-EU flight originating in Brussels,Belgium (EBBR).thanks to anyone who can help!"... AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"[b/]

For optimum FS2004 performance, am thinking of an upgrade, and am considering liquid cooling. So far, am considering the following:Asus P4P800 (Springdale) or P4C800 Deluxe (Canterwood) MBIntel 2.6, 2.8, or 3.0 GB 800MHz CPU1GB 3200/400 MemoryWas considering the Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Ultra MB, but from Tom's Hardware review it seems that double the price would produce less performance. There is quite a dandy difference between the pricing of the two Asus MB's and the CPU's as well. Whether the increase in performance is worth the difference in $$ is in the eye of the beholder I guess. (Decisions decisions!)So far, in several past upgrades, I have managed to avoid fiddling with…

I read post awhile ago on how to de-activate reflective textures thru-the .cfg file of FS to inprove frame rates. Since then I beefed up my machine and wanted to turn them back on but I forgot how. (NO, selecting the "Reflective Textures" button in the display menu DIDN'T work...) This not a texture problem with aircraft either. ALL my aircraft (default, posky, aia, etc...) don't show. Appreciate a turn in the right direction. Thanks...Oh my appologies on the "TJS6.zip" file I uploaded. I have corrected this and will repost as soon as i successfully create an FSSC file (my first, so there's a learning curve) to compliment "San Juan 2000". The new download will also…

I just learned how to add flightplans manually. I'm currently working on Horizon. I downloaded flightplans, but can't find 2 aircraft. I need the Dehavilland Dash 8-200, and the Fokker-28. Could I replace the 8-200 with an 8-202, and the 28, with a 70?

Quick post:I upgraded my RAM from 256 to 384 megs last week. I had to observe things for several FS sessions to know for sure, but the upgrade, in combination with increasing my AGP ap to 128 megs, has all but eliminated texture blurring in FS2002. When it does happen, the textures clear up in 1-5 seconds, vs. the 20-30 seconds it took when I was running under 256 megs. Since these results are under 98SE, they are probably of little help, but I still have to suspect that free RAM, along with cpu hp, is a must for keeping textures clear. What I do wonder, is whether RAM config is as important as RAM quantity. I now have one bank of 256 megs, and another of 128. Makes…

I thought I knew how to add FS2k planes to the fleet? Wrong! I would love to add the Beaver7 which I used to have. The Beaver7 being an FS2k plane didn't make the transition when I went 2k2-pro? Is there a way? Help!Mark

Has anyone downloaded the new Jetblue paints for Project Airbus A320. I have one problem though, on the right engine the text for www.jetblue.com is smeared. Anyone know how to fix this or has a fix already then can send me or the e-mail of the painter? I would love to fly this plane but the smeared letters bother me.Thanks

A clean install of FS2002 on my new hard drive the other day sorted a few outstanding problems I've had; my R4D gauges now work again under XP (still don't know why they didn't, RCS!) and I get multiline text again in my checklists, etc. But some other old chestnuts either continue or have started once more. Can anyone advise:1. Why, when I switch to a heli (even the trusty old 206B) do I usually find I don't have enough power on the collective to take off? I have to wind it up to "OPEN" on the Bell or, even, add a collective to other heli panels that don't have it so that I can get off the ground. 2. Why, on occasions, do my aircraft seem to get glued to the runway…

I am building a new machine -- upgrading from a P3/1000 based machine to an XP2400/TI4200 one.I have been perfectly happy using Windows ME to date -- and have read that XP uses a lot more resources and memory than ME. However, I realise that XP is the "current" OS and am prepared to move to it.BUT - because I am happy with ME and prepared to stay with it, I do not want to move to XP if it does in fact weigh down this new machine. With 512 meg DDR Ram , am I likely to see any performance hit by using XP instead of ME?Thanks Barry

Hi Guys Some one might say i got the wrong forum group, but so what. I set up a flight tonight from KEWR to KMCO. I flew down on a 737 using RC3.1, I had down loaded the real weather using active sky. I also have on my system UT installed for all those lovelly AI aircraft. The problem i found was that when i arrived down at Orlando and was asked to leave the frequency for weather, i was told that they were using runway 35. When i am on finals i see that every one else is using 17. Should i be doing some thing else to find out the correct run way for landing. I dont know why i keep getting assigned a runway that is in use for on comming traffic. Before i take off i us…

Some days ago, I noticed that just about the time I am beginning to turn on final for landing, that FS2002 goes into the pause mode by itself. I have been simply pressing "P" and continuing my approach.Today, as I turned on final, Runway 19R at SimFlyers KIAD, I get an error window which tells me: "Your computer has run out of memory." I check ok and FS2002 shuts down.On startup, I am reading "524288K OK". In the Windows Task Manager, I always have available memory.Upon futher examination, I am finding out that my problem seems to appear at some of the places I am approaching which have intense scenery, and not at others. Examples of such locations are SimFlyers airports …

Does anyone know if FS2004 has fixed the Beechcraft King Air 350's nose and/or the problem with the diagonal windscreen seperator not showing up? Maybe the nose is just me, but the windscreen seperator definatly doesn't show up.Thanks

Does anyone have any info on the payware version of this aircraft? I been watching for a release date or preview or anything. Who is the developer/programer? Any help will, of course, be aprecieated.

I've actually been doing a bit of flying recently, having laid down my paintbrush for a while. When not exploring peaks and valleys in something far too fast, I've been piloting a few of my repaints of Jan Visser's bird in the areas they were repainted for. Many of those areas are remote, and I don't see much traffic; but I've hit upon a problem to which most of you probably know the answer, but I don't. I can't find anything in the FS Help pages. It's all to do with speed. I was happily flying along in "Flagship Knoxville" last night into Chicago O'Hare, and sure enough it was busy. ATC vectored me into the relevant runway for arrival and told me I was number one for…

Hi there, out of the blue my flightsim doens't want to run multiplayer/squawkbox anymore. Here's the error message I'm getting:AppName: fs2002.exe AppVer: 8.0.0.10919 ModName: cslsp.dllModVer: 1.0.1040.1 Offset: 00007c6bI know how to set it up (including all the SB stuff), problem is I can't even get that far any more. This error occurs whenever I select >multiplayer; then I click on "open multiplayer session" and as soon as I click on "host" FS2002 crashes with the above mentioned error message. It worked fine until last weekend. The only thing I installed new was roger wilco. I've found that roughly 2 of 20 tries to establish a multiplayer session are successful. To…
