Can anyone suggest why my outer, middle and inner markers suddenly fail to work ??I have them selected in comms, and have tried a variety of airports and aircraft, but not a squeak.John Amm.

I've used and enjoyed CH Products' Virtual Pilot Pro Yoke and Pro Pedals for the last 2 or 3 versions of MSFS. I'm thinking of upgrading both the yoke and rudder pedals to CH Products' Flight Sim Yoke USB and Pro Pedals USB for use with FS9.Question: how many of you have upgraded your yoke and pedals? Was it worth the price? Why?Thanks for your input

The updated December schedules are now available You can get them over at http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/ through a link in their tech support forum by Tom MainThey are a marked improvement over the original December schedules (Which had a problem causing unrealistic low amount of traffic as opposed the the original June Schedule which had the traffic but filled up arrival gates with aircraft that sometimes sat around for a week) with relatively accurate traffic, while keeps open enough gates for arriving aircraft!! They did a great job on this one!!!

I remember downloading a small RC plane for FS2002 but now I cant find it. Does anyone know where I can find this download again? I have searched all over the site but no luck.Thanks

Hi - i have one of these strange 'Sherlock Holmes' mystery problemes... Knowledge:I'm running FS9, have installed FStraffic 2002 + upgrade patch too 2004 + Cap. Sims 727 package incl. 2004-patch.PROBLEM:My radiocommunication with atc dissapears - I can open and close the atc-window but there are mostly no options to choose. Sometimes I can hold at rwy and wait for TO-clr from tower but it liked they have gone home?? Then if I take off and all the FS9 options withe diff. altitude-req, change of destination-req etc. - they are not there? And ATC don't even ask me for anything - no clr thru airspace, hand-over or anything... as I said it is like they have closed down for the…

I finally installed a bunch of AFCAD2 files in FS9, however, I can't select any other runways for landing except what ATC gives me. Is there a simple fix for this (never edited AFCADs)? I need some alternate runways to avoid multiple go-arounds!Thanks,Chris

Hi,I have suddenly experienced a major texture problem with FS2002 inthat at many airports (not Europe oddly) airports either addon`sor default have multi textures with part of the aircraft panel shown in side and rear view modes. Objects are also repeated manytimes making all these airports unusable. Each view appears tobea combination of different textures, buildings etc as well as partsof the aircraft panel.Has anyone experienced such a problem and if so how was it resolvedplease. Hello simmers !I had several ctds as well, i'll describe you below what helped in my case - no more ctds.I am not any kind of expert, i just tryed it and works !I have tested for the specific add on sceneries i have installed on my machine and it works for me,so i don't know if it is a general ctd solution, give it a try, may help you too.Open the fs9 folder (the initial one - where the sim is installed) and you'll see a file called scenery.cfg - open it using notepad.Inside this file there are all the scenery areas and their layers as well.Like bellow:................[Area.001]Title=Default TerrainTexture_ID=1Layer=1Active=TRUERequired=TRUELocal=SceneryWorldRemote=[Area.…

Bush Sounds Plus panel I just discovered that attempting to associate a new sound file to a switch while in Full Screen mode will cause the loss of panel and out the windscreen view. Alt+Enter back to Window mode and reload aircraft to recover. Load up the panel with all your tunes or sounds while in Window mode and there should be no problems. File association works in 2D or VC too (window mode), but plays all you've got in either mode. Hi guysHope you can help.For months I have been flying without any problems until yesterday whenFs9 crashed with a nv4_mini.sys error. Now I load fs9 and within a couple ofminutes it crashes again. I must stress that for a long time I have not had any problemswhat so ever. Could it be that my graphic card has gone bad or what?, beside's running directx progseverythings ok.Only happens with directx applications. I want to replace the default AI aircraft with the really nice models from AI Aardvark. I've installed the Aardvark AI aircraft but now I want to get rid of the default AI ('Landmark' 'Pacific airways' etc.) and substitute the Aardvark AI aircraft. Flew this aircraft for first time today. Took off from KSEA and headed west through mountains to Pacific Ocean. Then followed roads north and east through mountains and along coast, landing at Port Angeles Fairchild airport. So far so good. Time to head back to KSEA. Take off felt a bit strange but figured was due to unfamiarity with aircraft. Climbed out, leveled off, and discovered couldn't excede IAS 170. Not good. Checked gear and flaps indicators, both OK. Only problem I could find was excessive fuel flow for IAS 170. Went to exterior view to check aircraft for damage. Was HORRIFIED at what I found! I was having a whole hockey sock full of problems with FS9. I had major stuttering, crappy frame rates, and a lot of brown and blue texture patching(even with multi_ set to 400 in config). I do have a lot of add-ons. I was ready to do a re-install, and then I decided to try one more thing. I increased my monitor resolution to 1600x1200x32, changed FS9 resolution to the same, and I was amazed at the difference. The sim ran liquid smooth, and I had frame rates(unlocked) in the mid 30's over Las Vegas. I have most sliders to the right, Chris Willis performance clouds, modified Autogen file and run in full screen mode. Even when there were a lot of clouds and the frame rates …

I was bored and randomly picked an airport tonight to do a few touch-n-goes at. I picked KDXR, and just chose day for the time. I took off, and there was a Cessna coming in for a landing. I was cleared for left traffic, the other cessna was told to enter left traffic too. I turned downwind and eventually I was cleared to land, but the tower told me to follow traffic on upwind.I turn final, and I'm told to go around. By this time that Cessna has entered the pattern, and he's cleared to land following traffic on upwind. A couple of thing to mention:One: I got a new video card, a Geforce 500FX or something, 128mB video ram, needs own power supply. The odd thing is, while FS2004 is now zipping along, FS2002 is stuttering. Does that have sometign to do with the way each is designed to take advantage of video card technology??
